I saw a youtube video that showed some people kayaking in Alaska and then all the sudden a whale comes jumping out of the water and tossed the kayaker in the air some. He was fine but it would have scared me to death.
When we were on our whale watching boat we were tracking a pod of whales and they were going straight for a group on kayaks. That cured me!
Coral's theory:
Little tiny kayak- huge ocean- very, very wrong!
I have never been accused of being a daredevil.

DH said that when he was in Cabo he saw probably a total of 60 Dolphins and lots of Sea Turtles. :)

I am NO daredevil either! Which is why I won't be doing any ziplining anywhere! LOL!

Since I missed the pirate: run today, thanks to my DD forgetting where she left her coat in the mall, and then spent an hour looking for it, Congrats Tracy!!! ;)

Cheryl is also VERY good at keeping an eye on my DS15 and was able to tell me where he was any time of day and night ;)

It's nearly midnight here in the UK, so I'm off to bed - Goodnight !!

Looks like I missed another pirate:run. DH had the computer. And I was busy finishing the new James Patterson book.

For any other Cricut users. There is a cartridge called Paper Dolls that has a lot of pirate things (pirate ship, treasure chest, flag, sword, etc.). Also they have 4 Disney cartridges (2 Mickey and 2 Princesses). And Cuttlebug is coming out with some Disney dies and embossing folders. Lot to choose from...and I want them all!

For those of you interested in horseback riding but concerned with either DCL's cost or their age requirement, I know that Jo (ga9497) found one in Aruba. Since I am already booked for Jolly Pirates there, I wanted to see if I could do it elsewhere and leave that day just for snorkeling. This is what I found for Cabo:

http://www.cabosanlucastours.net/Horseback-Riding.htm

I booked the private 2 hour ride for me and my girls, but there are lots of opportunities, and from my research it appears that the Red Rose ranch is an easy taxi ride from the port.

Also, since you only do either 1 or 2 hours, it should still be easy to spend time on the beach near the ship.

That looks awesome Julie:thumbsup2

I've been hoping to do the BOB excursion on Cabo, though I can only do it if I book direct because DCL's age restriction won't allow my DD11:sad2:

If we don't book the BOB, we may go with the ATV tour since our last horseback riding experience didn't go well for DH and DS:rolleyes1

OK, do tell, Laurie! This sounds like a funny story (and perhaps one I can embarrass your males with on the cruise, to boot!) . . .

:lmao: Actually, Andrew's experience was funny. Darren's problem was due to his bad hip, he was in pain the rest of the day:guilty:

I planned this special weekend trip back in August to celebrate Darren's 40th birthday. A resort in Hot Springs VA called The Homestead that had many outdoor activities (though it is mostly known for its golf). Darren did love the skeet shooting. It was our first time skeet shooting, but he was so good I actually cheered when he finally missed:rolleyes:

I hadn't been horseback riding since I was about 16 or so (many many moons ago:laughing: ) and this was the first time for the rest of the gang. Kelly did really well, Darren didn't do badly either, but Andrew's horse had a mind of its own:headache: We were in a group riding in single file through the trails and his horse just wanted to walk slow and wanted to eat and even left the trail at one point:scared1: . I felt so bad for Andrew:rolleyes: Finally, the guide went and grab Andrew's horse, lead him to the front of the line and made sure he behaved through the trip. Andrew was a good sport about the whole thing, he kept saying "it's not my fault, I'm innocent" Reminded me of someone, but I can't remember who:rolleyes1
