My list is still in my head cause if I write it down I'll just lose it before August:rolleyes:

My wife has a standing list she uses for each WDW trip for herself and our two girls. I think "the list" will have to be augmented for this trip though.

I'm usually left to fend for myself, except for mutual stuff like tooth paste.

That's why we are designated walkers as well......

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I just checked my airfare to see what it is going for now and we booked at 217.40 and it is up to 272.50 :scared1: I guess I shouldn't count on a refund??????? Wow.

Cheryl, yes there were fatalities 4 and 1 was a Disney Employee :sad1:
here is the link http://www.wesh.com/news/15009543/detail.html coming home tonight the message boards on I4 noted it was still closed. I guess our maybe trip tomorrow to mousesurplus is out of the question as I want to be a far away from that sorrow as possible.

OK, my heart just sunk reading this, we have a friend that lives in Lakeland and works for Disney. I just sent her an e-mail asking her to let us know if she in OK.

I know, tell me about it Cheryl, it is still 63* here at the moment, but the weather forecast calls for possible sn*w showers this coming Monday and Tuesday.............:faint:

Only 3 years, 11 months and I think 27 days til John retires.:woohoo: How do we all live with one day of 70 and the next day of 30.:confused3 I know why DH and I have been getting sick!!

So here is the plan... tack an extra dollar or two onto the t-shirt price to fund my plane ticket. I'll fly out for a long weekend - 1 day sorting, packing & shipping - 2 days in Napa!
!

You forgot to state on the way to California......pick-up suitcase with Cheryl hidden inside at O'hare Airport!!!:lmao: :lmao:

I'll take that challenge ;) :cool1:

Coral..you are on for the challenge of Margaritas.!!! :thumbsup2 At least we will have fun losing too!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Same here! Does chat count as a social occassion? :lmao:
:goodvibes

Any occassion can be social!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

I like both of them!!!:thumbsup2

I think they have merged behind the scenes, sometimes when you click things on sidestep, you get a kayak screen

Tom...You are a wealth of information.

Ahoy Capt'n! That must've been some might fine shore leave. Ya can't even find the ship!

:rotfl: :rotfl:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Sorry Todd....but that is funny!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

The accicent never made the news up here!!!. Thanks for the link Arlene!:flower3:

Give me a call from mousesurplus just in case you see something I can not live without!!:worship: :worship:

I'd come. I'm in the same boat (if you'll pardon the pun) as you. DH loves to show up & if I plan something without him, he'll pout for days (OK, maybe minutes, but still).

Couldn't we all aim for the same time/day and just ask them to seat us all in the same area?

A couples brunch sounds like a good idea:thumbsup2

Then I could do the Wenches Tea and the Couples Brunch:cloud9:

Hey Diane

I also like the idea of a couples brunch! Brendan loved the brunch if I went with out him he would get cranky! We would be interested!

Chrissie

So the majority of couples appears to want to make reservations same day/time & see if we can all sit near each other instead of getting a private room & that sounds like a plan to me! Now we just have to decide what day & what time! :thumbsup2

My list is still in my head cause if I write it down I'll just lose it before August:rolleyes:

Ditto!!!

That is why I use excel for my lists. You can update them without them being messy and you can't lose the paper :)

Ah great idea! I hate spreadsheets though (has to do with my first real job) so maybe I'll type something up on Word.

Just saw the year of a million dreams commercial.....and had a thought...I think the dream team members should come aboard our cruise.....

Hey that sounds awesome as long as they are giving out dreams & not just taking a much needed rest! ;)

I started working on a packing list a few days ago.:sad2:

I'm going to end up paying fees for going over the airlines weight/luggage limit or I'll have to mail a box out ahead of time.

YAY! I can't believe its time to start thinking about packing! Our biggest challenge is to not overpack, especially with there being 6 of us. Although we will have plenty of luggage available to take (12), its more a matter of how to handle all of those bags, and needing a huge vehicle just to transport it, and then storing it all in 2 staterooms! LOL
If we do limit the amount of bags, then weight becomes an issue, so it gets tricky. I guess its time to start thinking of these things!

I can't believe we're talking about packing lists, it sounds so wonderful!

I'm ready to go NOW!!! I have started a list (in the back of my datebook, where I won't lose it) of things to pack, but I won't actually pull them out until the week before we go.

I still don't know how to multiquote.:sad1:

next to the button that says "quote" there's a little square button with " on the top & + on the bottom. Keep clicking that for people you want to quote, when you reach the end of the thread, click on the "post reply" button at the bottom of the page. This will give you quoted text from every page you clicked the "+ button for.

Well one bonus is that we'll have a bunch of sea days to choose from....

Well Pirates, so much for my hope of 2008 being better than 2007. DS is in the hospital again for his depression. I really don't know how much more of this I can take. Please pray for us.

Hugs, prayers and pixie dust headed your way Monica. Being a parent is NOT an easy job, believe me, I know. Take Care...........:flower3:

I'm sure this has already been posted, but I finally got the rest of the information regarding the onboard check in for flights.

You must have at least one way transfers through DCL from the port to MCO. You can have no more than 2 bags per person weighing no more than 50 pounds each (regardless of what your airline limit is). You must be flying out on the same date the cruise ends. And you must be on one of the following airlines: Air Tran, Alaska, American, Continental, Delta, Jet Blue, Northwest, United/Ted or USAir.

Getting this information helped get my butt in gear and I have finally bought my airfare! We'll have to drive to Milwaukee (probably do two one way rentals). I got pretty good prices and great times. No direct flights though, but I saved about $300 over the direct flights :woohoo:

:surfweb:

:welcome: aboard to all the newbies.

Have a great Thursday

G'mornin' pirate:s
I keep waiting for this week to get better. Work is a pain in the add right now. At least we'll be in WDW in 2 days! :donald: :dumbo: :sulley: :tigger: :simba: :stitch: :figment:

:rotfl: With all the volunteers I just got - I think you can stay home.

Bummer.

Haven't you listened to my answering maching message?? "Since their toes are webbed, the dogs can't hold a pencil to take a message. So please, leave one, and if neccessary someone will get back with you."

Those webbed toes - great for swimming, lousy for office work.

Malley would eat the pencil.

None of my friends could believe I was marrying an officer. "You? An officer's wife? :rotfl2: Right."

He bought me books on military life before we did the deed, just so I'd know what kind of loony bin I was signing onto.

It's OK as long as you stay away from the wives clubs!

My mom really got a kick out of the 24-hour period that I went from a tent in the woods (where I was living for 8 weeks that summer) to a formal ball
schmoozing with admirals.

Since I've only allocated myself three days to unpack the popup camper, and pack for the cruise - having the list complete will be vital to my sanity... :rotfl:

Yeah, and your tuxes and ball gowns are going to need to go to the cleaners after a few romps in the national parks.

Ahoy Capt'n! That must've been some might fine shore leave. Ya can't even find the ship!

:rotfl: :rotfl:

:rotfl: Why is my ship always gone? pirate:

You forgot to state on the way to California......pick-up suitcase with Cheryl hidden inside at O'hare Airport!!!:lmao: :lmao:

Luv ya Cheryl, but I'm not lugging you to CA in a suitcase!

[/QUOTE]

I swear I actually said that at work today!

:snooty: "We need to to find a funder for this new program."
pirate: "Great, what's the program. Give me the details"
:snooty: "Well, we're not going to bother with pesky details until we have the money"
pirate:"Ummm, no one is going to just toss a million dollars our way to do 'whatever'.I need to have something to write about."
:snooty:"Why are you being so difficult?"
