Watching the WDW Christmas Parade here as well...............

Wow, Merry Christmas Everyone!

This may strike some as silly ... but the news that there is a WDW Christmas Parade is news to me! I just switched through the cable menu and set it to record! We're usually out of town with Alicia's family 9 out of 10 Christmas holidays. As such we often don't watch any TV when we're away on Christmas morning. However, we're home today. I'm asking the older daughter to wait fer her little sister to awaken before they tear into any of her presents.

Tina, I can only vainly hope there were a Wii under our tree. Our little ones are a bit young and I just get scornful glances from my spouse when I ask about game machines. I had an older X-box that gave up it's little ghost - and since then the spouse has enforced a bit of resistance to the game systems. I nearly bought one this holiday season, but was stopped. Oh well...

I've only recently played a Wii for a bit and it seems pretty cool even though an 8 year old girl kicked my butt pretty handily at the boxing game.

Watching the WDW Christmas Parade here as well...............

I wish they showed that here in the UK - we watched it in Old Key West in 2005 - it was fantastic.

Nevermind at 18:50 tonight we have Dr Who Christmas Special which finds him on the RMS Titanic in 1912.

We just finished eating dinner, had hot roast beef sandwiches with several side salad dishes, very tasty, yum! yum!

Now we are getting ready to go to the movies. We have decided to see something lighthearted, so we will be going to see Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Well...

... for a select few bottom fishers (like me) I regret to declare that WOOT had a $1 Random GRAB BAG OF C-A-R-P last nite at 10:01PM (or AM?) California time. I missed it - and apparently it sold out in THREE MINUTES. Some folks seem to have obtained THREE orders of 3 items! RATS! I imagine we could have gotten blue tooth headsets, MP3 players or other things of lesser value for a $1 which failed to sell out normally on their site! You didn't seriously think they'd clearance out $2000 LCD projectors or $1500 notebook computers for a dollar, did ya? Oh well... maybe next time one of us will catch it, eh? Even $3 + $5 flat shipping fer a trio of MP3 players or Blue tooth headsets is a good deal! As such it should be worth no less than $30+5 for the 3 items or no more then $90+5 at Woot prices IMO.

.... yeah, with a 3 minute sell out window it's FAT CHANCE!

Just got back from seeing Alvin and the Chipmunks, it was cute and all three of us enjoyed it. There was one little kid there also watching the movie that had us in stitches, he was laughing so hard and out loud it was priceless!!!

Now, we are going to pop in High School Musical 2 for a home family movie. Angelina wanted to watch Black Christmas, but that ain't happenin'............

Back from Church - we were about 10 minutes late but parking was OK. Then we swung by one of the ONLY stores open - Von's supermarket. Alicia to check for things for supper even though I bought enough last nite. AND, having picked up a Times news paper shes' gonna get "organized" for the after Christmas shopping tomorrow morning with that papers' ads.

At this moment we're briefly watching Willy Wonka ( the original ) until mom setles down with us to watch the WDW Christmas Day parade I recorded. The "bad egg" girl in RED just got dropped down the garbage chute after singing about wanting one of Wonka's Gooses which lay golden eggs.

We've had many a conversation around this house about just that type of thing recently. With dh being in charge of the England store opening and him checking into opening a store in Ireland, etc..... Jon has a HUGE map (he had it made at a map store here) of the UK on his office wall --- it is 4ft by 6ft.

Meanwhile, here in Norfolk, UK, Bethan is watching "The Grinch", Alex is wrapping presents, Helen is wrapping my final present (it's a Passporter ), and I've just eaten a mince pie
