I am reading on the CC board a lot about excursion options. I preface this w/ the comment that this may be a dumb question but.... in Cabo there is a lot of talk about whale watching. Are there supposed to be whales in the area when we are there or is it the wrong time of the year?
I went all the way to Alaska and was disappointed w/ the whale watching options so hoping that is an option.

Most of the whales migrate South in December and North in March. So most of them will still be in Alaska when we go through Cabo. There are always those posh whales that spend all year in Mexico working on their tans. There are always dolphins in the local waters.

By the way I loved National Treasure 2!!!!! Despite the bad reviews, I thought is was just as good as #1.

We loved it too, despite the sacrilege Goofy commits in the cartoon before hand.....

I have heard that the Goofy short was actually better than the actual movie. I might have some bias in this regard though.

Boy - though - some of those roller coasters we tried were EXTREME and MEMORABLE!

The first time we rode X, I swore I would never ride it again, but I've ridden it 3 times since. Its a great coaster. We had waited in line 2 1/2 hours for it. I still can't believe we waited but DS really wanted to ride it. Do you know what kind of changes they are planning for it? I've heard it's going to get remixed into X2.


Did you ride Tatsu? That one is amazing too. Although I'm really not sure I'll ride that one again. That was truly frightening.

For those doing the Jolly Pirate excursion in Aruba you can add us to the list. I just received my email confirmation from them so we're all set! It sounds like a fantastic excursion!

We've also signed up for the canopy zip-line excursion in Puerto Vallarta, which sounds equally great. It's a surprise for DS's 13th birthday so "ssssshhhh" until March.

... I must CONFESS... I only rode 4 rides ... even though the lines were completely non-existant. We walked onto Goliath, Scream (was that the name?), Collossus and Superman. We rode Goliath twice. And the rest of the time we just looked after the kids. And, well... actually I rode three other rides ... an inclined track train, a kids' circus train and the kids 4 wheel drive ride.

To be candid, after we rode Goliath TWICE back to back we needed a break. I couldn't walk straight and was notably shaken by the experience. It took an hour or so for me to fully recover from the experience. I have not ridden TATSU, and I was under the impression that the image I posted was of Goliath... not "X".

At any rate, I really gotta run now. SO many things yet to do. I'm gonna be sending some of my Christmas Cards a day late it seems. Drat! So many things to do - and so little time! Maybe I should have been on the DIS a little less, eh? Nawwwww!

Just a quick update - Father Christmas is currently in Denmark - he's getting closer.

Meanwhile, here in Norfolk, UK, Bethan is watching "The Grinch", Alex is wrapping presents, Helen is wrapping my final present (it's a Passporter ), and I've just eaten a mince pie
