Hi Jo, I was waiting to express myself until I was sure you were around . . . basically I was disappointed although I'm glad I saw it once. Disney (in my opinion) really squandered a lot of good will that was waiting there with that story and those terrific songs . . . Lion King showed that they are capable of doing something really outstanding with Disney material . . . I thought the sets, costumes, and general tone of the musical were not as good as they should have been . . . I think little kids would enjoy it but they aren't going to get the big audiences and long run they could have by shooting a little higher.

Honestly, if I worked for Disney someone -- or even many someones -- would lose their job over this one . . .

Well, you didn't make me buy the tickets! I bought them long before it was even in previews, and I had decided last night that I was going to go and have a good time -- I was just really disappointed. Even my 10 year old had some complaints, and she's usually crazy about anything we let her see.

One more thing, Jo -- keep in mind that all kinds of people have different opinions and that's fine -- I had suggested "Spring Awakening" to a friend I made on the Med cruise last summer and she just wrote having seen it and I ended up feeling a bit like a pervert for having suggested it!!!!!

Hazel and I got to spend the afternoon at our DCL House Party hosts house. We had a wonderful time meeting this family, we are even more excited about the party next week. We know we are going to have a magical time. We found out this afternoon that we just missed being on the same cruise with this family by two weeks on two different sailings, how funny is that, and we never realized we lived so close to one another.........

They thought we lived near the Jersey Shore and I thought they lived near the Jersey Shore, and here we are, living less than ten minutes apart, what a hoot.........

Good Morning All,

Below is a copy of a post I just made on our 10/24/09 cruise meets thread. There are several members from this cruise that have challenged each other to lose some much needed pounds. I took on the challenge to help take some strain off of my knees, and it is working. Instead of The Biggest Loser, we call ourselves the Bobalosers.

I'm so thankful for this Bobaloser challenge, it was the motivation I needed at the time I needed it most. This morning was my weigh-in and I lost another 4 pounds this week, bringing my total to 9 pounds lost since 1-1-08. I can actually feel less strain on my knees and I also feel like I have more energy by staying away from the fatty foods. Keep up the good work everyone, it's working for me!!!

Thought I would stop lurking and post real quick on yesterdays camera subject. DH states that Walmart carries the silica packets in bulk (and he doesn't mean go down the shoe aisle and steal them all ). I also noticed on ebay that some people also sell them in bulk.

Thanks to everyone posting that info. DH has a Canon SLR and we are not about to kill that expensive thing.

I never noticed that at Wal Mart. Thanks for sharing. I am going to take my stash I have collected forever and but some new to make sure they are fresh.
I can't believe it never ocurred to me to nab them from the boxes of shoes. Saves me a trip to Payless Shoes.
