OK, and I hate to post this in the same breath, but I just went to the ladies' room, and as I was walking in, someone was walking out WITHOUT HAVING WASHED HER HANDS!!!! I saw her walk out of the stall, then proceed to exit the restroom without washing her hands!!!

Some co-workers and I were just talking about posting a running list of the people we know who do that...Can you imagine being black-listed for not washing your hands after using the restroom??? Somthing tells me it would only take once, and they wouldn't be caught doing it again!!

One of the deals I got at Tarjay today was the Huggies Kando foaming hand soap at 50% off. I think that there were 8 containers & I bought them all. The cashier asked if they were lotion & I told her they were soap. If I get the kids the good smelling soap I can keep track of if they wash their hands in the bathroom or not without having to look at their hands.

--Lorri, apparently will not be cruising with us on the Magic as she will be on the "WONDER through the PANAMAL canal"
--We formed a new support group for overplanners and notebook carriers. We named it "Friends of Lisa G." It will be a type A recovery group. First meeting will be at Scoops after lunch on embarkation day with a strong drink in hand
--The Captain will be training the wenches
--Lisa would like us to email her everything you know about yourself and all photos ever taken. This must include job history, criminal record, ex-girlfriends, and relatives you are trying to avoid. See post #7387 on page 493
--Our new mottoes are:
1. Be on time, or you get left behind!!!
2. If you change your room, your in for doom!!
3. If you wanta eat, grab a seat!!!
4. If you're on the wrong bus, don't make a fuss!!

We always end up with 2 copies of Harry Potter books... one bought on the very first here in the US & later I'll order a UK special edition from Amazon - we started out with the first 4 in the SE & it seems like a shame not to keep a full set.

staying up here a little later than usual, thank you EVERYONE again for good wishes, the operation is called a ''tympanoplasty'' she has two perferated ears, one is not good to operate on the small bone under the 'drum' is erroding with 10% loss of hearing, but hearing might get better if it fully erodes?? he other will be operated on next Wednesday.

At a young age she had 'gromit's put in, in each ear, it appears this proceedure was not completed correctly and after suffering eareache on our last cruise the Disney Magic doctor said she had holes on the eardrums and had had so for a long time. We were told by UK docotors no problem, now going private.

If you know anything please PM me as it will be hard to keep up with the pace of this thread.

As soon as hubby gets home I will. I realize this will be after your bedtime but it will be there tomorrow. I know he does alot of typanoplastys so I know he can tell you volumes about it. Talk to you later.

Are there any plans in the works for a group tour of DisneyLand before the cruise. I'm starting to look at hotels in the area also. Any ideas?

Is that like the UK version of putting tubes in her ears....?

My 3yo nephew has tubes. Seems it runs in his father's side that the kids need tubes. Shawn, my nephew, had several ear infections so bad that his ear drum ruptured and actually bled. Each time their doc said no problem. After the second time, i begged my sis to get them to let her see a specialist. Good thing she did. He was starting to lose hearing but after the tubes is doing much better and hearing has returned.

DS is suseptable/dispositioned to get ear infections but luckily he's only had 2 very mild ones. When we transferred and he went to his new doctor up here, they though our old doc didn't send a complete file! (I would have rather had a copy of the file myself but they charge us, the paying patient a $50 fee for records copies...but they will fax them to any doctor for free! Anyway, the old doc had sent the entire file...it's just that he's only been sick enough for a non well-baby visit 3 times So far his ears are doing well so hopefully no tubes.

Can you believe in my geekiness I bought DH & DS12 iPOD nanos for Christmas. Still none for me. I'd love one of those iphones, though . ..
