8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 2

Hi Everyone!

We're on board... We're on board... We're on board!!!!!

(OK - I still gotta pay the deposit, but that's a sure thing as DH wants to go too.)

I heard the cruise sold out - so I feel fortunate to have snagged a cabin. The big problem now is how are we going to keep this secret from the boys (DS5 and DS9) for a year and a half!! Argh!

I don't know about you but I'm going to have a terrible time keeping up with everyone's name, faces, etc. For an Alaska cruise we went on I built a website of all the cruisers. I'd be willing to do the same for us. Here's the URL - check it out and let me know: http://www.graenit.com/cruise05.htm

Well, gotta run - I'm on a business trip and have to get downstairs for a meeting. Will try to catch up on - well maybe the last 10 pages or so - this weekend.

At the cruise meets page layer you can see all the cruise meet threads. On the right is a column listing how many postings each thread has as well as the number of visits. If you click the number in postings column you will get a pop up window of everyone who has posted and the number of postings they've made in sequence.

And if you click the individual screen ID name you'll get another pop up window with address, phone number, social security number, hat and boot sizes, number of pirate earrings and tattos, and a numerical rating of how good a shot they are with a flintlock pistol at 10 paces.

We are only kidding. I think although as you know we have been going on for awhile here, yesterday was the first time many people looked for a thread so over the last 2 days there have been upwards of 50 people hop on. I think most of them are shocked that we are 7100+ posts into this. Noone feel defeated though.........honestly half of what has happened has been price speculation and that sort of stuff. The summary of the good stuff is done for you and Lisa and I will continue to do those. No planning has been done because none of us knew if we would get on or how much it would be. So you guys aren't behind, you just missed alot of fun!!!!!

Welcome, I think that we have plenty of time to sort out these things. Several of us are from southern California and will be here to help with many of the details. Several airports to choose from in the area. More on that when its time. Port of Los Angeles is really in San Pedro. We will give you the complete run down on the parks and how to make the most of them.

When you put your "official voice" on Judy & start giving instructions we sound very legit. And I mean that in the most respectful way. What would we do without you, Lisa & the Captain giving updates & hints on what is to come to make this whole trip so much easier? I for one am really looking forward to the website!
