DW has been following the price on the web site and she says the prices for cat. 5, 6, and 7 have come down from 1.5 hrs. ago. So SELL, SELL, SELL

Excuse my silly question for the day...........Do you know if you transfer do you lose the DCL obc or do you get both? Guess it might be just wishful thinking on my part.

You will get both with DU at least. This is per a reliable source.

I must admit I made a mistake previous (very sorry)

I thought there were NO veranda 6 QUADs left at 8AM (25 minutes ago) but now there are catagory 6 QUADs available. And I am looking back at my records and ... at 8AM there it is again. So I must have misread my records TWICE ... because I thought I looked twice. I think I am a little fatigued or sleepy... give me more time and I'll dream up more excuses.

At any rate - my sincere apolagies for posting inaccurate information 25 minutes ago. I owe a few folks a mickey bar by way of regrets here.

This is actually 11 am ET. You aren't seeing things, CC. When Todd was on the phone with the CM rooms kept popping up as available & then disappeared. It is just craziness right now.

Just in case anyone needs a celebratory cocktail (or would like to start drinking heavily while on hold).

Konk Cooler
1/2 oz dark rum
3/4 oz light rum
1 oz passion fruit juice
1 oz pina colada mix
1 oz orange juice
crushed ice
tropical fruit wedge for garnish

1. Place the first five ingredients in a shaker and shake vigorously.

2. Serve in a tall glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a wedge of tropical fruit if desired.

Oh Yeah, I definitely think your TA owes you something for that major snafu of booking you on the wrong cruise and now you have to pay more for it! And I don't know what room you'd wanted originally- but it sounds like it wasn't 10 gty I'm sure? I'm so bummed for you

I totally agree. This is something that if the ball is dropped, it can't be gotten back. They should have paid more attention. And I'm a travel agent so I would know.
So sorry...

I got a call from my AAA agent earlier saying she hasn't been able to get through on her TA line which sent me into a panic and I called DCL myself.

I was on hold at least 45 minutes. By then, I could only get a category 5 for the 4 of us (boys will be 7 and 11) for $11,908 and a cateogry 8 for $10,048.96. I could have gotten a category 6 this morning on line for $10,008.00 but was relying on my AAA TA.

The DCL agent said in order for us to transfer the 10% off from a cruise we booked last month for this August, our AAA agent (we transferred it to her) would have to call in and it would be at the quote that she gets, not the one I put on hold (the category 5).

She said a lot of people booked on line and called to get the 10% off and were mad they couldn't get their on line price.

- Todd tells Andrew his is too small but Andrew offers to try and see if he can make it bigger
- Kids aren't good souvenirs---buy emeralds
- Colombia vs Columbia
- Arlene's daughter gets hitched by Elvis in Vegas
- The stress of trying to book this cruise begins at 6:23 am on 1/31/07.
- Pirates gathered supplies of protein bars and caffiene to take on the DCL phonelines.
- Pirate children were being pushed out the door with a bottle of milk, a box of cereal and the words "You know how this works! Now scram!"
- 8 am and the madness began. Shock with prices online and unbelievable hold times. Prices started rolling in.
- Mary nabbed a deal for a room for 2 adults & 2 kids at $ 4,006,748.21!!!
- Lots of people waiting on the phone a LONG time. Resies are coming in slowly from the phone & online.
- The pirates were ready to rally and kill the beast themselves!
- Someone booked the Roy Suite!!! PARTY TIME!!!
- The beast was killed finally and the Tiki room party took over.
- Sk8 has lost it...There are 563 days 'til we sail. That means I am paying the low-low price of just $12.10 a day to hang out with a bunch of pirates for the next 18 months!
- Prices jumping higher & higher every hour.
- We have 15 months before the Palo resie rush at 90 days.
- It's gotten really ugly.
- Somehow lbgraves snagged the 6000th post!!! the Captain 2 Wenches 4

Someone on this board about an hour - or 2 - ago that when we finally get through, we will be pleasantly surprised with the prices.....maybe they go by our queue time, which would be 8:03 for me! I hope they're right!

The are still maxed out (and 6 isn't even available) unless they had gone over their max price, which I didn't see.
