Yup...

... my daughters sail in fear of what their silly Dad might do for the photographers...

Yes, I remember you posting that MJ moment before. :rotfl:

Yes for 30 mins recently locked out and this morning it was slow and usually its fast am here as you are all in bed!!

I think its this thread too many photos posts etc.

It has been doing that for me no matter what I am doing on the boards...even sending pms or posting a new thread. I know that they are working on the Community photo board so that may be affecting the main forums a bit.

Oh, don't talk about laundry! Just about the first thing DH said to me after hearing 15-nights was "We're going to have to do laundry"

I HATE doing laundry on vacation. (Well, I hate doing laundry at home and vacation makes it even worse!!!)

We always have the pressing service onboard for our fancy duds. I think I might pack 10 days worth of clothes and spring for a bit of laundry service to make it through.

Well, this one is going to be a challenge for us. I usually pack a seperate case or two for our WDW stay and leave that in the car when we go on the ship. We will be in CA for 5-7 days, then 15 days on the ship...so you may as well just say 3 weeks. At least in August we aren't going to have to take shorts & jeans for the fickle weather in FL in December. One good thing about that is the sweatshirts & sweaters take up more space & weight. ;) I am going to have to do at least two loads of wash this cruise...no way around it I am afraid. Maybe we can have minimeets in the laundry room or out in the hall if it gets too humid in there. :lmao:

Hi, As you can see I'm from that other side. :)

I know this is way early but how many of you manly pirates will be wearing tuxes? I would imagine that on a repo with two formal and two semi formal nights the number would be higher than a regular cruise.

Thanks

For the heck of it I just checked the price on one of the most popular on-line travel agencies (don't know if I'm allowed to mention the name) for the May 12th transatlantic for a family of 4 in cat. 6 for a total of 7735.44 including taxes & fees. Doesn't that seem ridiculously low or was that particular cruise not selling well? :confused3 I'm obsessing I know! :sad2:

The May 2007 repo has dropped in price due to low sales. They have also been giving outstanding onboard booking deals....a 250 room credit, 10%, & tips prepaid. The best deal is kids sail free only paying port fees & taxes!!!! :)

I looked at the cat 10 & 8 for the westbound to get a more realistic idea. Without tranfers & insurance the 10 for 2A & 2K is 7000. The 8 is at 9000.

 Hello to You From the Other Side,

I usually don't wear a tux, but I'm starting to think maybe I should rent one and have it on the ship waiting for me. :confused3

This will help save space for other clothes I know DW and DD will want to bring.

I don't have an answer, but would like to know if anyone knows. My parents will be 2 months shy of their 60th so it might be cool for them to renew. They did at the 50th party we had for them and I think it would be fun to see them do it again.

If Mr. Gibbs sails with us, he is a minister & might be able to assist if DCL isn't officially doing any of the vow renewals on the repos. :thumbsup2

DH and DS will both be wearing tuxes - we'll probably rent them unless I can find a really great deal prior to us leaving.

Andrew, thanks so much for the overview from the last PC cruise!!! Captain, is Melissa going to be happy with you not shaving until the second week?

Well I am Back on my CPU ...I am putting some new anti stuff on here to avoid any more BS ...

Why would we have to wait till the second week ????

I actually fell asleep in my chair waiting for this thread to open up earlier this afternoon. :rotfl:

Sorry, guys! After CCD, Church, lunch at McD's, a stop at WM to get DD's bike a kickstand since the training wheels are off & I am sick of them bikes being dropped on the garage floor, some dress pants for DS since too much of his leg shows when he sits down in his current pants, :lmao: DS & DH putting together the 20" bike that I bought when the kid was 2 yo because with the codes stacking & free shipping the huffy BMX bike only cost me $20 shipped to the house :cool1:, cleaning out the dirt & sawdust all over the garage & consolodating some of the things stored in it, visiting with the other neighborhood moms while the kids rode bikes outside, dinner, and now getting the kids unwound for bed ASAP....I've been a little busy today.

I always pack a black tux and a formal white dinner jacket. However... if anyone looks close enough - I'm always in sneakers. All the better to sprint after the kids ya know!

That was indeed one busy day Lisa!!!

My son loves the DL/WDW monorail set, he has had two with extra track the train lasts about 2 years or so, he just came down out of bed andasked me if he could get another when/if we do West Coast next year.

They do not have monorails at DLP, but we have a Eurostar train on his train layout, one of about 15 trains. So he can think about that going to DLP

DH surprised DS (& me) when he came back from a business trip to CA...where he stayed close to DTD. He bought him a monorail set for his birthday. The kids immediately set it up in he living room and DD brought in her Cinderella castle, her WDW play mat, and all of her sweet street houses. They played with it ALL DAY LONG!!!

Rather than bring a dinner-suit / tux from the UK for me and my DS14 for this cruise, we will possibly consider renting BUT will there be a problem with one-way rental (rent in California and return in Florida)?

Is it possible ?? :confused3

Whoa! You were busy! We have been pretty lazy today. Got paper, went to lunch, hit the ATM, went down to the neighbor's house on PTO business. Did some laundry and made dinner. I guess I should do the dishes soon.

Andy, glad to hear dd is doing better. I hate it when my dd has a fever, it's scary.

It's been snowing here. We probably got an inch. It did look pretty for awhile.

If they go by the last schedule, pirate night was the 2nd Wednesday of the cruise.
