They would NOT premiere the Movie 30 days before it was released ...AWE comes out in theaters May 25th ...So no ...that is not the reason they are closing the park ....Plus this Movie wont be ready by April 22nd ...it will still be in post preduction according to Tom and Terry ...

I've heard all the speculation that the premier may be held elsewhere, but I haven't heard a Disney specific announcement saying it wouldn't be at DL.

It seems that 4/22 is a bit early for it, but with the early park hours, it just makes you wonder.

We usually go to DL on the Sunday after DD's bday (4/20) so I guess we'll have to pick another day.

I am so glad we're going to Disneyland in March, and not April! Bad enough with all the closures they'll have when we're there.

Would they close the park early for a Grad Night?

Okey Dokey Artichokey Here It Is-----Cliff notes for posts 2500-3000

1. Roger was being coerced into having a tongue dissection in Vegas this summer---you know for the detail crazy Capt.

2. Buy stock in HOT GLUE!!!!!! (dem pirates use it to attach their hair pieces)

3. DCL is eliminating unlimited internet----okay who the heck are we going to need to contact by internet when we are all aboard!!!!!

4. Lots of chatting about tshirts----black, white, wet, dry, and even lime green.

5. Lisa told us a story about Todd trying to get his "PROPS"----through security and the monkey paw tale.

6. IC began to call people and its looking ugly

7. The Intl. Primate Protection Agency will not allow Todd to hit the rum before dinner on pirate night.

8. Kristina captured the 3000 post. The score is 2 women 1 men

9. The pirate phrase for the day is
"We are very much alike you and I, I and you........us"

Seeing as how I am waiting for a call, I would NEVER joke about this. Only two people (from the DIS, and that we know of) have gotten calls. There's a thread on the main boards about it.

So why are we trying to figure out why DL is closed early one day and they didn't even ask our permission?????

Do you guys know how often that happens around here??????? Atleast twice a month. All kinds of people rent it out :Michael Jackson, Microsoft, Dell, any conventions or megastars do that. I remember it not being on their website or calendar and going to see Fantasmic at MGM and got to the gates and they said they were sorry but unfortunately they were closed for a private function. It was even during the Osborne Light time of year.
