Here's hoping everyone has a great Tuesday. I get to go to money laundering training today:woohoo: :woohoo: :)

I laundered some money last week. Found a $5 bill in my pants pocket next time I put them on.

JR, my daughter cried for two days when her little piglet the goldfish died.:sad2:

DD actually has gotten over it pretty well but I did see her earlier going over to the tank and then turning away -- I think she forgot Voldefish was gone.

I'm pretty angry myself because I think the fish's death was a result of a sick fish sold to us by the local Pet$mart. DD had wanted another fish so my wife took her to get one and we brought it home and introduced it to the tank. It died after two days and then shortly afterward, DD's fish began showing signs of a bacterial infection in the gills. I tried medicating the water and thought we were being successful for a little while but then the fish-who-shall-not-be-named took a turn for the worse Sunday. The water checked out fine for toxicity so we think the infection may have been passed from the pet store fish.

Hey Arlene I think Cheryl has been doing that for years:rotfl:

John

Now John, you do know wenches stick together:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I finally got my Halloween picture off my cell.

(I'm thing 1; the other person is my co-worker who holds the same job type as me so the designation fits as thing1/thing2)

Oh how cute, :goodvibes I miss those days, but I tell you I have come to enjoy the benefit of Adam being older--he can take himself, he has his own money...need I go on........:rotfl: It is a shame that it seems to happen so fast. I lost my bag of $50s in the laundry, can you check and see if you can locate it?

Must be right next to my bag of $100s in the laundry. :rotfl2: Paula, if you find the laundered money, I would be more than happy to send it to Tom.:lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl2: If it is in the laundry that means it is now clean:woohoo: :woohoo: now the question is, which laundrymat were you all at, I'll be more than happy to see if it is still there:rotfl: :rotfl:

A fellow DIS'er, booked Hazel and I a fake 2008 date, which we were able to switch to 10/24/09. Since we will still be sailing with this family, we were able to get the 10% discount and $200 onboard booking credit. We selected a SPH cabin and our cost was $1941 for the two of us.

Sounds like a great deal Andy.

As you can see DH has a hard time following directions!!!!!

:lmao: :lmao: I have one of those too:rolleyes1
Sorry your weather was so rainy, we've had those "bad weather" vacations before too. :)

We'll keep them warm for you. We booked our airfare to Paris and back from London last week and are working on our hotels now. We'll be there for nine days in late March. (And of course be paying a visit to our pal Mickey -- I will now have been in every country there is a Disney theme park (although I never got to visit the parks in Hong Kong or Tokyo)

J.R. sounds like you all will have a great trip. Make sure you post some pictures in early April:thumbsup2

LG, loved your pics, thanks for sharing them!!! :thumbsup2

Saw everyone else's wonderful Christmas decorations, so here are ours. We don't do that much anymore (at least we don't think we do).

Umm....I was in the Block over the weekend (Orange County) and they were advertising a ROUNDTRIP ticket to Paris for $469. I was sooooo tempted but we're still paying off my souvenirs from August. Barcelona was just a few dollars more. But next time if I ever go to Barcelona - think I will skip L/Hthrw and fly from Atlanta to Barcelona instead.

Hey - I haven't attempted the every land with Disney but I managed to do 3 POC's all within 1 month this past summer - Paris, WDW & DL. Nothing important but it gave me a quiet thrill  :rotfl:

My biggest find one time was $100 - but I don't really count that as it came from my pants - the biggest and so far the leader in losing money to mom is my oldest - I think the running total is about $80. Not all at once - $10 here, $35 was the biggest on her. Usually its only $5. My oldest - son - is such a cheapskate - the most I've gotten from him is $10. My youngest finally came on the board when I found $25 in her pocket.

And yes - before anyone asks - I keep the money. Rule is if mom washes - I keep and while I feel a little guilty with the oldest girl - she hasn't learned yet. :rotfl2: Guess she hasn't learned her lesson right?

"Sides" kinda makes up for those kleenexs that get through. Nothing like opening up the washing machine or dryer and finds them all OVER your clothes. ARGH!

Our flights were a little more expensive than that because we are flying to Paris and then taking the train to London later in the week before flying out of Heathrow. Since this is now our "trip of a lifetime", I upgraded to World Traveller Plus as well to get slightly better accommodations for the long flight with the Princess.

I still kick myself for not getting to Tokyo Disneyland. I was in-and-out of Tokyo four times for a week to ten days at a time two summers ago and stayed over a Saturday on one trip intending to go, but a typhoon hit and I didn't make it. At the time, I thought there were going to be a lot more trips to Tokyo to come, but I was promoted off that project a month later and never made it back.

I was only flying through HK on the way to the PRC so I had no chance to get to DL there.

Andy that's a really great deal! I can't think of a more wonderful anniversary celebration! :cool1:

Andy, we'll miss you by two weeks :sad1: I booked us on the 5/23 and 10/10 special Eastern cruises. Couldn't decide which one I wanted.

I love everyone's Christmas decorations - it really is "The most wonderful time of the year"!

Here are some of ours - our tree won't go up until Sunday. We went to a tree farm and picked it up this past weekend. It was the first time we have gone to a tree farm, we usually just end up at Home Depot or Lowe's and get our tree there, but with the passing of my grandmother last week we decided to do something special this year.

We raised fish before we had children. Sounds like you had "ick" from the store. There is medicine but it really never worked for us. The new fish should be quarantined before introdcing the new fish in the tank.:goodvibes

And heres one of the boys...

I loved:love: all the pictures Lil Grumpy!!!! :thumbsup2 I don't think you would let anyone make a move on your lil' cutie pie. Aren't you the knight in shining armour????:confused3 :flower3:

First chance I have had to get on this thread all day. Not very excited about the 2009 sailings, but Hazel and I decided to go with the 10/24/09 Eastern, as that day is our 34th wedding anniversary. So far, Angelina hasn't decided if she wants to sail with us or not, especially with it being our Anniversary Cruise...................;)

How wonderful Andy!!!:yay: :yay: You will love spending Halloween on the ship!!! We have before and it was great!!!:cheer2:

The decorations are great. I love Christmas time!!! I just hate all the sn*w we are having right now!!! I can't believe the presents are wrapped!!! I just spent 5 hours trying to find all the gifts I bought and hid throughout the year.:lmao: :lmao:

That was sweet Lorri to honor your grandmother!!!! :flower3: The last time I had a real tree was 38 years ago for John's and my first Christmas. After he found a needle in his foot the following July......we said a fake tree is less dangerous.:rotfl2:

I brought back some Disneyland Paris maps from my visit in August. PM me your address if you'd like me to send one to you.

You confused me for a minute, I thought it was summer there for you. :rotfl:

Just making sure everyone is paying attention :thumbsup2

We had a lovely day today - hot and not too windy. Its going to be hard to sleep as it hasn't really cooled down much in the house.
