I went on the website for TCNJ to see how my son did at his meet this weekend (he just sent me very short text messages yesterday) and I found out they won the meet! I think it's okay to post the picture since it came from the site. He is the third from the left in the last row (messy hair, tilted head):

He actually placed top eight in two of his events and never mentioned it!

His brothers were actually at an invitational HS meet on Saturday and the boys team also placed first! It was a very exciting meet that came down to the last event with our relay team breaking the meet record. The boys are now very pumped for the regular season to start next week.​

I just received a phone call from Tina(castoff), she asked me to let everyone know that due to a family emergency she will be taking a break from the boards for awhile. Tina also asked me to let everyone know even though she is taking this break, the party for March 30th is still on. I do have Tina's e-mail address, if anyone needs to get in touch with Tina she said they can contact me for her e-mail address.

Well since everyone is sharing holiday decoration pictures I figured I would show a few of our as well ...This Christmas we didn't put up the HUGE tree cause we leave for WDW on New Years Eve and we didnt want to have all of the mess of putting everything away before our little vacation , so instead of the 4 tress we put up around the house we just did the 2 trees .

TWO trees? And presents already under one? Oh... I'm SO behind.

Hello EVERYBODY!

Greetings and Salutations along with Happy Birthday and Happy Belated Birthday to anyone celebrating or who has celebrated birthdays before.

Its been so long since I've been on that I hesitate to talk but I have attempted to "chat" on Friday the last 3 weeks but everyone is gone by the time I get there. This past Friday I got there by 10:15 PSt but no one was there. I felt like one of those ST that keep popping in and out of a room.


I have got to say - skimming over some of the Xmas pictures - you all put me to shame. I still one huge skull over my air vent on the outside of my house. DH keeps saying he'll decorate this weekend, yeah right.

It looks like everyone has plans and while Christmas is a bit hazy, family and I will be celebrating the New Years again in Las Vegas! We got confirmation that our 2-room suite has been approved along with some extra rooms for some friends. The difference this year? They have decided to give us dinner and a show. Double We've never done a show before.

Oh, just a quick note - DH and I renewed our passports they wer due to expire on July 18 of 2008. Hearing the horror stores I sent them in on Nov 15th thinking it would take weeks - well I expedited them and I got them back on the 24th. So DH and I are good to go until 2017. That sounds so far off But then again - so did this cruise.

Ok lots going on and I'll leave that for another time, DD14 just got done doing a marathon from East LA to Santa Monica on Sunday, Dec 2nd for the LA chapter for Catholic Soup Kitchen. It took her just under 12 hrs with 2 rides - one against her will. She is still sacked out at 11:30 am but the poor girl has a soccer game at 2. Ah, to be young again.

Anyway, I've been kept busy being chauffer, Christmas shopping and rushing my other "baby" (doggie) to the Vet. Seems she may have a bacterial infection in which the final solution is to be spayed. So tomorrow, my son will be taking her and dropping her off - I am too chicken to take her. 'Sides, this dog is smart - she may hold it against me if I drop her off. I just keep telling myself its for her one good - I wanted smart puppies but I guess I would rather have the dog with me then to die on me. That would just about kill me

So anyway, I see I am again writing a novel so I will sign off for now, chat still on on Fridays? Just checking.

Brrrr all these pictures of snow make me glad its summer

Here's me and snow (I avoid it usually) not last winter but the one before. I was about to head up to work on Mt Ruapehu skifield. We got all the snow you see over night. You may also know of Mt Ruapehu by the name of Mt Doom or Mordor.

Oh I hate snow...

Morning all. (I won't say "Good" morning, because it is Monday and that can't ever be "Good") Hope everyone had a good weekend.

It was a sad day at the yarg household as DD5's DF (dear fish) passed away over the weekend. We are not really sure what happened as the water tested fine both at home and a sample at the local pet store. I'm going to take another sample in today to see if we can figure out the cause. But then I'm going to clean out and completely recycle the tank and then let DD start over after the holidays.

JR, my daughter cried for two days when her little piglet the goldfish died.

Just trying to ketchup. I had to take the laptop in over the weekend, it wasn't charging properly. We got it as a combination birthday, anniversary gift this summer and wanted it to download our pictures on vacation. Well we leave for WDW on Sunday and they are not sure if they will have the new power cord from HP by then. Fortunately it is still under warranty. I also got a 2 GB memory card for my camera for my birthday and I can't find that.

We haven't gotten any snow yet, thankfully. Looks like there may be some tomorrow. All those pictures are making me COLD. I hope WDW is warm next week. We are looking forward to all the decorations. We have never gone in December before. Looks like there will be a few of us there next week.

I am hoping for nice warm sunny weather for you .
