Four holes drilled in to my bum on the right hand side and then into the bone, in a procedure not changed for 40 years, Well Yes to certain things a negative finding would be preferable, but after all this instigation I would prefer they actually find something that they can solve!

I must had done something very bad to deserve this, although I know many people suffer more serious stuff.

I know exactly what you're saying. I've been saying the same thing since my surgery and all of its mini-setbacks. But I've also reminded myself that this is nothing compared to what some people must face every day.
But still, your pain is very real, and you're entitled to complain about it.

My best friend and I have worked in hospitals for over 25 years. we always say the same thing. Bad things never happen to the jerks. The stories always start with: "nicest people you ever want to meet..."

My DH had about 5 BM biopsies back in 1986-87 (Aplastic Anemia). They medicated him pretty heavily during the procedures. He doesn't really remember them too well (kinda like the pain of childbirth, just shorter )
Abnormal results are usually expedited, so waiting is good

Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday. It was nice to actually spend a couple of days with Chuck & Brooke.

Happy Black Friday! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Our thanksgiving in a box was very good! Lots of goodies in the fridge.

My friend got me up at 5AM and I met her at Michaels. I got a Cricut that was in the ad, but almost didn't. There were 15 people in line when we got there. DD was up with my friend and she was the one to get in there and scooped up the box! I guess I don't have to train her for comando shopping! She was so proud of herself! Mom! I got one! Was all I heard. This was before I had any coffee.

Also hit a Pandora jewelry trunk show, but the BOGO was buy 4 charms get one free! I passed on that one. I think I'm done shopping for today!

We also had Thanksgiving in a box. It was very good and left overs in freezer. DH went to Michaels at 4:30 !!! Yes it didn't open till 6:00 and yes he was first in line for about 45 min. They only had 8 cricuts and DH got one with some extra stuff. What a great husband now can't wait till Christmas so i can get started playing with my new toy.

Oh my gosh does that look yummy !! Thank you everyone for the anniversary wishes. We did go out to dinner, crab legs & steak for me. That's what we had for our wedding dinner.

We were going to see that new movie enchantment but I was to tired.

Well it sure sounds like some of you were able to get some bargains yesterday.

I don't think I want to cruise the Arctic waters I am glad all those people got rescued.

Those pics on t.v were scary looking. Glad everyone made it off the ship o.k

Todays' the last day? Well... we can only presume congratulations are in order Mike!

And as for things here in Boston... the drivers have been surprisingly nice - in fact - the California drivers have been as testy as the few pointy minded Bostonians I've encountered on the road. So - we did in fact hit BOTH the New England Zoo and the Childrens Museum yesterday. Plus here are a couple pictures from the past 4 days of travel and visits to Boston.

Thanks Secret Mickey!

I got my gift card for Coldstone Creamery in the mail yesterday! Since I have the world's biggest sweet tooth, it will come in handy. In fact, the timing is perfect. Today was my last day of work at one of my jobs. I enjoyed it, but it was really getting to be too much with school and the other job, and Linda's schedule and the kids' school and sports schedules. If we weren't there so late today, getting some last things finished, I would have taken the kids for ice cream today to celebrate. We'll probably get some on Monday or Tuesday! So thanks again!!!!

I love the slippers and the Reeses Peanut Butter cup Christmas Trees (what's left of them ) have been hidden away for me to enjoy next week while at work.

Thank you to my Secret Mickey! I got home from work today to find a wonderful package of goodies. I sure wish I had the artistic talent that my SM has. Loved the custom card, umbrella and especially the fresh supply of NUTMEG.

I like reading all about the secret mickey gifts. They all sound wonderful.

OK... so the pictures above were from tonite. There's this huge light array - and the CROWN structure was accessed for property taxes by the mixed up city here - subject to removal of the structure from the home! Hows that for a "grinch" running the property tax accessment officeout here? Anyways - it was a very nice lite array - just the same!​

o.k computer is running real slow. I finally think I have a chance to get the . All I have to do is continue to " Ketchup " since nobody is around.

Alicia has an old neptune - and she wants to "consider" one of those steaming things as a washer - and she talks about the conveniences of changing the washer (or dryer?) to a front loader - seein' as shes' not the tallest female out there - so reaching over the top to load the dryer (or washer) is a slight chore. Whatever... she wants to change one of the washing or drying machines.

Aside from that - we got under 4 hours to go til we motor out to Logan. The arboreum is MAYBE on the agenda - or swimming at an indoor pool at my BILs' tennis club. I would rather sit back at the house - eat more and just stretch out with eyes closed. Oh well...

Here are a couple pix taken within the last couple of hours... the best yet showing the new baby being carried by Julianna or myself.

So... can anyone tell if I've gained any weight over the T-holidays? And these will probably be the last baby pictures posted - as I know I've posted a couple already. But ... he is SOOOOO charming a critter!​

I spent a good part of the morning working on our family newsletter that we send out with the Christmas photocard that I shared with you the other day. I just finished printing off 100 copies of the newsletter. I scanned a copy of the newsletter into my photobuckets account and have attached a pic of it below. Since I shared the photocard with y'all first, I thought I'd share a copy of the newsletter as well. I hope the pic is clear enough so you can read what was written.

I see it now..........somehow I put it inside the quote. It is such a job doing the Christmas cards huh?
Tomorrow I will post some pics of my tree. It looks really good now with all the disney ornaments and Mickey garland. I didn't get a chance yet to make the styrofoam Mickey heads............maybe next year. I did however make 6 glass ornaments Disney style. They were only 2.50 for a package of 6 at Michaels. i put some ice glace inside and stickers on outside. I know I did a good job because even Brooke is impressed.
