Hi  y'all. It's been quite a while since I've had a chance to check out this thread - much less any other. DD will be 8 weeks old tomorrow and I'm still basically functioning in a fog.

So, can anyone tell me if there's been any important cruise talk in the past couple of months?

Looks like you had more important things going on - congratulations!

We have a plan to do the park in the morning and evening and seek out the air conditioning during the afternoon:confused3
I don't want to overdo it. I had a lumpectomy in April and radiation May-June. Don't let anyone tell you you don't need a mammogram without a family history:rolleyes: I really dodged a bullet, they caught mine very early and I'm fine, just tired from the radiation:)

I'm jealous about your Paris trip and Med cruise. Can't wait to see your trip report:thumbsup2 You'll me able to let me know what 14 days on the ship feels like (I can't even imagine it right now).

Raining here, lots of thunder:eek:

Laurie, I am so glad that they caught it early -- but I realize this must have been a terrible few months for you. That's a real reminder to all of us to get those mammograms. Is the radiation over now? If it is, hopefully your blood count will come up and you will start feeling less tired. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

I am always too crazed when I get back to do a trip report, and then when I do have time again I've lost interest! I'm sure I will have plenty to report informally when we get back, though. Right now I am in final planning mode for the Med cruise and 10 days in Paris, and then luckily the repo will provide lots of time to recover from the previous several weeks. I will let you know what all that free time on the ship is like, to whet your appetite for next summer!

  to you again, Laurie.

The movie comes out next Wed (Order of the Phoenix) and the last book (sniffle) comes out on 7/21.

I think we might to try to find it in an IMAX theater as well. We're not too far from the Dulles Air and Space museum and they have an IMAX. It's cool to find a movie that the whole family can really enjoy (May had three-POC, SpidermanIII and ShrekIII):thumbsup2

Awwww congrats on your new baby girl!!! :cheer2:

Nothing new about the cruise as far as I can tell. Check out the first page for any new information that may have been added since the last time you checked. Other than that, we are still just chatting & trying for the 000posts.

Wow that sounds like an amazing trip! I can't imagine how excited you must be! :dance3:

Yes, it's just starting to be real . . . we leave three weeks from tomorrow and get back Sept. 1! I'm doing all the planning myself (no Disney excursions) and it's so engrossing that I don't know what I will do with my time this fall. I love the planning stage, though, it's almost as much fun as actually being there.

Thank goodness you went in for your check up and were strong enough to make it through treatment so quickly! Prayers that your strenghth returns quickly!

Laurie so glad they caught it early! Hugs to you!

I've got tickets for the new Harry Potter movie next week:cool1:
Any other fans out there ?
Can't wait for the last book:banana:
We started reading these to my son back in 1999 and now we're all hooked:rolleyes:

I don't have our tickets yet but we will definitely go the first day, and do the midnight party the night the book comes out, too. I really enjoy the books, having started out reading them out loud to my girls now I think I enjoy them more than they do!

Thanks for the :grouphug:
It was not fun to be sure, but it could have been so much worse. Radiation is done:banana: I'm putting in some long walks every day so I can enjoy WDW in a few weeks:banana:

Yeah, I always wanted to do a trip report, but never found the time and energy to do it:confused3

Welcome back Robin!

I would say we've just been enjoying one anothers company and chatter more then any significant cruise talk. Of course, I could be wrong...

Someone correct me if I am mistaken?
