Lovin all the pitcures posted of you guys in WDW (and that cute little puppy)

Congrats Monica on breaking the swabbie pirate run :worship: :worship:

m&m's mom- :bday: Happy Birthday to that very special (stubborn) little girl of yours :bday:

Gonna be another hot one today so we are going to see Evan Almighty to get out of the heat. After all, there's only so many days in a row of rum punch (with nutmeg)drinking by the pool you can do before people start to talk ;) :rotfl:

Have a great hump day everyone and stay cool :cool2: :cool2:

I was on when you posted, I signed on a little before 5am(crazy dream woke me up), I just waited until I got all caught up before making my post this morning..............

So to answer Cheryl's question while shamelessly boosting the post count...

I'm in southern Illinois near St. Louis. We got here Sun. afternoon & we leave Thurs. morning. My folks grew up around here so my dad met us for a walk down memorie lane. We haven't been back for 23 years.

There is a beautiful shrine there -- Our Lady of the Snows. The grounds are just beautiful!

I did not see that one either.:sad2: I know three days for 4 parks is going to be a tough pace!!!

We loved Turtle Talk w/Crush! In Feb '06 we were there for Elvis's b-day! He was wearing his b-day pin and Crush choose him to talk to! LOL! Claire was NOT happy! LOL!

Hi -
Just popping by!

Has anyone used a money belt when travelling? I got my silk undercover moneybelt today from ebags. Passport, train tix, airline tix & money all fit and it's still quite flat. Maybe I should wear it around here before I leave to test it!

BTW - Roger - that's a great pic of you & your girls.

Check back later.

Does everyone realize that Aug 17 this year falls on a Friday. I say that we put together a simulated bon voyage.

I will be flying home from WDW that day! I really wish I booked this trip later in the month so I could join the mini-meets & participate in the bon voyage cake posting party! :sad1:

Ok last photo of the night in response to Tom's picture.

Mmmmmm rum punch by the pool with nutmeg sounds like a great day to me! :cloud9:

Roger & Tom---the pictures with your kids are really great.

Can you both remind me again of their ages? They look like they are in the neighborhood of my kid's ages.

Hi everyone! It took nearly my whole lunchtime to Ketchup :)

I'm like you, I do it so often I don't even think about it. I would have stayed in the water too. Besides, it's cooler in there!
Pamela, you are a trooper . . .LOL .. I'm not going to let DH see your post. He worries about these kinds of things.

After the initial pain, it really wasn't all that bad. I took ibuprofen and iced it regularly for the rest of the cruise. Our room steward was FANTASTIC - he seemed genuinly worried about me and kept the ice bucket full for me! The worst part was how bad it looked. The main impact was around my bicept - the top part of my arm swelled up to about double it's normal size and the bruising ran from my shoulder to about 5 inches below my elbow. It looked AWFUL! Of course, I didn't bring anything with long-sleeves to the Caribean in January! Even if I had, I don't know if I could have fit a long-sleeved shirt over the swelling. I had a shawl that I wore at dinner to cover it up a bit, but the rest of the time there just wasn't any way to hide it. DH claimed people kept giving HIM funny looks! :rotfl2:

I seem to have passed my klutsy talents on to DS8. He always has bruises, cuts and scrapes. He actually ran full tilt into a TREE when he was 5 and still has a small scar! At his preschool, at first they notified me by phone of every accident (fell off his chair, ran into the table, etc.) but eventually they just gave up. If there was blood or major bruising involved, they would tell me when I came to pick him up! I noticed the same thing has happened with grade school - the first few months had a lot of call, but they tapered off and now its pretty similar to preschool. DS8 seems to know the school nurse really well!

IWe are getting storms all around us and nothing here. My grass is such a pretty shade of burnt brown!!!:rolleyes1

Weather around Chicago is just weird. We live only about 18 miles apart, yet we have had rain. I think we are around 1" so far for July. The grass is green and things look fairly lush...

We are in Troy. My folks are from Edwardsville, but the place still doesn't have a hotel!

My secretary thinks this is Soooo Cooool! :cool1: She is from Edwardsville and I believe her parents both grew up there also. Her father still lives somewhere near there. Does your family know any Fonda's? or Dunsteaders?

aw I think I missed it now

guess not

Congratulations! I never seem to be online for Pirates - I think I've actually been in the running only once or twice this whole time. They seem to happen either as I am getting DS8 to bed or well after I'm in bed .

lil'cars...to carry "loads" back & forth...one would be better off eating
gravel..or dirt? really-pirate: ...*this is an example how misconcpetions
easily... leads to..delusions....you all would really get a kick, out of
the nurses i work with...their ways of thinking...is solid as concrete...

cry unless his mother was holding him. "BALLING" -he sure taught us!

which imply, there were some when we went...88? ..we never thought of
asking...i can still remember my lil'miss whispering...on the monorail...
we have no extra diapers... ..." he's yours"...now that what i called,
projecting blame.

we had a patrick already in my family! the black sheep...:scared:
don't ask about all the trouble he's been. ..from the begining.
[he was the one...that my lil'miss had to reach way down inside & pulll
out a lil'miracle of her own] . God bless yor lil'miracle, , and it
sound like she couldn't have "found" more loving parents...:thumbsup2 .
sometimes, that makes up all the problems!

...this of course, reminded me of disney commitments ..to make a wish.
i alwys feel so  watching them make children & their parents feel

lil'miss..if she wwas entertaining any sweet  , and all i got was
...her standard relpy-dwats is me.

why?.. :cheer2: tooooo grandmax3....i don't care what anyone say..
finding/sharing life with someone x 20/25 years...is very, very, magical!
[ what we tends to forget....take for granted....are our special momnets
in sharing our inner most feelings..with those returning our lone back
to us....now that's a desire that will never be lost or forgotten..even
when diasters drive us away from loved ones.] ...& :cheer2: ,

why cpt. jack is pouting...( see above comments)

Roger & Tom---the pictures with your kids are really great.

Can you both remind me again of their ages? They look like they are in the neighborhood of my kid's ages.
