Also the last scene after the credits when Will comes back, he looked so hot in his bandana. I never thought of him as hot until that scene!...

Everyone stay cool! We are off to Staples for one cent school supplies. They can't even wait till after my bd July 20th to put on the stuff! LOL!

Hey Tina - that is my DD's birthday - she will be turning 20! Then mine follows a few days later!

And on a sad note - not to spread any more rumors but I was in a discussion last week and some HORRIBLE HORRIBLE rumor was relayed to me about Orlando's orientation. :sad1: and  Please say it isn't so! :sad2:

That boy is just too hot for his own good. Maybe when he grows up he'll be another JD! (Where's the smiley fanning himself?)

Just peeking my head in to say hi to all! I want to see if it's safe to post again.

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

That's exactly how I was feeling but couldn't figure out how to say it!

Coast clear! :rotfl:

Okay.....so this conversation came up at the pool the other day between myself and some other moms.....One of them asked who everyone's "Free Pass" is. My response is Matthew McConaughey....but Orlando Bloom's name is brought up as well. Most of the women reply with a "I just don't GET that?!" And I tell them "Oh, you have to see POC AWE....you'll get it!"

Funny in our conversation Matthew also came up - I am just in total lust with that man but the consensus was that he is too in love with himself. I don't care - I'd take him. As for Orlando - if he went with Penelope - sorry guys - this was discussed too - hope she isn't the token star that is paired up with others for the similar reason. I mean she was with Tom Cruise, Matthew M, now Bloom - That woman is too beautiful for her own good herself! Classic beauty -- did I mention I hate her? :lmao:

My smiley central disappeared - Hey Stace - how in the world do you stick your link in your sig line? I need that - can't come up with the smileys that fast.

Mine would have to be Sean Connery. Just love that accent!

I don't care for the whipped cream ones..too blah. Gotta have the sugar rush! :hyper: I usually end up eating Kev's frosting too:p

Angelina eats cake, but puts her frosting(icing) on my plate, I taught her well!!! :thumbsup2

The floods seem to be subsiding (have mostly been in Sheffield and Hull) and it hasn't rained today :yay:

We'll discuss closer to the time but we will aim to get to DTD at about 14:15 but must leave at 15:00 to ensure we get to the airport for 16:00

David

Okay so that means 2:15. :confused3 I should make it there. Hoefully no storms that day. We are leaving Chicago at 8 am. and should be arriving in orlando at 11:30(we lose an hour) We will rent car and drop off luggage at POP Century and then get to DTD way before 2pm.:thumbsup2 I guess I have to think on the 24 hour clock.:headache:

Hi!

Oh man! I think I am a planaholic! I have 14 ressies for 12 days!

I have a bad condition don't I?

Chrissie

The same one we all have "OMD" . Read my tag!!!:yay:

That would be 2:15pm, 3:00pm, and 4:00pm for the 24-hour clock challenged amongst us - usually non-military, and non-computer programmers. :)

David - I prefer the 24 hour clock too - so much easier to write = fewer keystrokes, and improved clarity. Use it for all our planning at home.
You are SO in trouble.

Go rowers! My best friend is on the US National team - preparing for World's in Germany right now. She rows in the coxed four adaptive boat (for the disabled - she's blind)

Thanks for the translation!!!!:goodvibes

Another planner checking in... I have a TS ADR for every night we are at WDW this July/August... I call it the Foodalot trip..

Anyway going to see if I can ketchup.. be back soon..

Foodalot sounds like the perfect trip!!:rotfl2:

Great Diving ....finally hit the 200 ft mark ....fun ......Its nice to see the Reefs are looking great now after the hurricane there ...there is still a little damage but the sea fans are coming back the coral looks great and the marine life is wonderful ......

pirate:

Wow!!! I get freaked when my feet can't touch the bottom.:lmao: Glad you had a great time.:woohoo:

Not to mention I'm working on my Fish gift. I love it now if I could only get it to work! :confused3

And you have time to make fish gifts???:confused3

Good morning everyone :goodvibes
Didn't sleep well last night. Dante a small 8lb. dog kept pushing me over into DH and I woke up in middle of night with a leg cramp.:sad2:

Going to be really hot & humid today, taking DD to taste of Chicago...........
Yes again.:rotfl2:

Have a great day............:)

Wow you are really taking the Chicagp sites in quickly.:goodvibes I can't believe you are going to the taste twice.:headache: I hate crowds.:rolleyes1

My comment to you ended up as part of my new tag, Jonesing!

My oldest daughter and I are off for Live Earth today in Giants Stadium -- should be a lot of fun. Happy Saturday to everyone.

Great new tag!!!:cool1:

I have pages to ketchup on but I am going to get some sunshine first.

Yesterday ( I never watch where I am walking) I fell down on cement in front of the grocery store. I saw some flowers reduced and all I could think of is what a deal.:woohoo: I tripped over the curb to get at the flowers.:flower3: My DH said it was like a fell in slow motion!!! I felt the fall coming but I could not stop it. I have some brusied toes,(from my sandals) a bruised knee, one hurt wrist from try to catch myself and the other arm is missing some skin on the elbow too!!! For some one being a little older, I bounced extremely well!!  :rotfl: :rotfl: My new name should be rubber ball, I just keep bouncing!!!:yay:

Off to look at my flowers and the the sun today!! It is 95 out and we have no central air anyway. So if I can't beat it, I may as well go out into it.

Sounds like the perfect excuse to sit in a lounge chair, look at your flowers, and enjoy the sunshine with something tall and cool. It seems as we get older it takes longer to recover from life's little accidents. So take advantage, relax and feel better.

Barbara

All ketched up on your blog M, I have enjoyed reading your adventures, the pics are AWESOME!!! I wish you nothing but safe travels the rest of the way to DC..........:)

Thanks Andy. I'm glad you're enjoying it.

Grace, is that you?
Seriously, I'm glad you're OK.

Okay.....so this conversation came up at the pool the other day between myself and some other moms.....One of them asked who everyone's "Free Pass" is.

Harry Connick Jr.

Hey M--

I wanted to mention to you that I finally got to see the movie The Guardian....and I thought of your Dh through the entire movie. I'm curious to know.... has he ever been involved with rescues like they showed in the movie?

He's not in the rescuing part of the CG. He's in the gun toting, bad guy chasing part of the CG. But hehas jumped out of helicopters and we did live in Kodiak for 2 years.

And he looks mighty fine in uniform, IMO!

A birthday buddy! Our big claim to fame is Neil Armstrong walking on the Moon! That was my 9th birthday in 1969! To you and you dd happy birthdays! :cake:

Oh no about Orlando.:scared1: There are a great many actors who seem to be stuck on themselves.

I just posted this on the Community Board-
What do yal think?

Do you believe the "Roswell Incident"?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am watching the National Geographic special and I am torn.
On one hand I was born and lived in Roswell until I went to college. I am a 4th generation Roswellite. Supposedly one of the possible "landings" was at my grandparents ranch just south of the Mack Brazell ranch.
My mom said my Great-Aunt had been complaining for days about something unusual in the sky that terrified the ranch-hands.
It was lightning a lot that night and since NM is so dry everyone scans the land for fires. There is no way no one would miss an army convoy. This is 40 miles north of Roswell. There are usually 1 road in and 1 road out. The only reason that road is there is to reach a house which means the army convoy would go right by a house. No way you would not notice.
My family says there was nothing that happened. Also, I never heard 1 word about this until I was in HS in the early 80's.
But on the other hand, a very big, militarilly important base was at Roswell at that time. I know several people personally that say it happened and were personally involved, that I cannot totally dismiss.
Anyway, I love mysteries but do not like the ones that cannot be solved.
What do the rest of you think about it?

My spouse and I are HUGE dessert enthusiasts! She will litterially scrape all the frosting/whipped cream off a dish and hand me the cleaned pastry - and I do the same in turn to her. We're a real pair! Often we just swap desserts this way (different) and get tastes of each - and quip the same affectionate barbs as we have the past 20+ years as we swap half eaten desserts!

Hello Everyone!

As I said in chat, I am here on the DIS like a Smurf in the forest...........

Now let's see where I see that quote again............

Okay so tell me what is a DIS like a Smurf in the Forest???:confused3 :confused3 At least I know what groundhog means!!!:rotfl2:

Question: For anyone staying at HoJo's Annaheim before the cruise, do you have any idea what building we're in?

No I don't but thinking I might be staying somewhere else instead.:confused3 I have over a year to decide.:thumbsup2

Nope, just geting home from yet another ladies night . We made rum punch tonight with fresh grated.............

NUTMEG

Sounds Yummy!!! Bring the receipe I think Roger might like it too!!
:drinking1

Jon keeps reminding me to make sure I have everything (clothes wise) that the kids and I will need on our trip next month.... ACKKK!!!!

Jon andthe kids are waiting for me upstairs... so, I guess I ought to sign off soon! LOL!

Stephanie are you still planning a few days at WDW in August or September???

...and yes, I immediately thought of you as I was grating my fresh nutmeg .

BTW, I think this recipe would mix up nicely on Deck 7 :thumbsup2

I will meet you there????:thumbsup2 :jumping1:

And I actually saw your reply as I'm busy playing catchup again LOL

Let me know when you are coming to NZ and we can have a DIS get together as I'm pretty much on my own here

Paula
New Zealand

The plane ride is the only thing stopping me. Twenty-two hours would kill me. I would need something to knock me out but we are still considering!!:thumbsup2 You will have to tell us it would be another chance for a TOAL .:goodvibes

I hope the rest of us can just move on & get back to talking about pirates, Disney, or cake! :grouphug:

I think I need a little cake now!!! Its for my sore body from boucing off the cement!!:lmao: :lmao:

We were scoping it out for our Mini Meet in Sept and looking to see where best to hang out. I had the Tuna melt and DH had the Original which is Roast beef, horseradish sauce and cheddar. They are soooo good. Infact when we got home it was around 7:30 we never had dinner. WE were still full.

Thanks for sending pictures of Earl in DTD. It looks perfect for the mini meet!!:yay:

Janet and I are going to WDW 9/1/07 to spend 6 days before our 7 day Western cruise to celebrate our 20th anniverasry. In 08 we are doing both the Repo and the 5 day. It is going to be awesome. My sisters may join us on the five day. It all depends on how much she enjoys the cruise this fall.

My sister had a great loss this past December 06. Her Husband of 23 years died at 62 years. They have 9 year old twins. The family went to DL each spring so I invited them to go to WDW and the cruise with us. (Kinda the same yet different) She accepted and is really looking forward to the trip. I can't wait we leave for WDW on 9/1/07 and then get on the ship 9/8/07. I need that vacation. Now I need to get breakfast so I can get ready to go to the office to keep my rear out of hot water. I am behind and have only one day left to get caught up. Will check back later tonight if I'm still standing. Have a happy sunday, Lois

We will be there in DTD on the 3rd which is on a Monday. Keep us in mind for the mini meet at Earl of Sandwich.:flower3:

Hey :Pinkbounc Rubber Ball--take care of yourself, and start feeling better soon!!!

Cheryl, I sure hope you are not to sore today. Be careful out there!

Oh well - hope your feeling better Cheryl - takes lots of alleve or advil for any pain. But I sure do hope you do not get tagged as a bouncing rubber ball!
:rotfl:

Seriously, I'm glad you're OK.

Thanks for all the well wishes. The 96 degree temperature made me feel all better now. I am glad I bounced like a rubber ball than break like a potao chip!:lmao: :lmao: :cheer2::mickeyjum

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.:sad1: My multi posting skipped a few.:flower3:

A boy after my own heart! I have GOT to meet your DS! Can you believe I have NOT been to Graceland yet. I almost went last year, but we ended up cancelling. Another must do on my list. :thumbsup2

He is quite an interesting young man! LOL! We usually say that he is a 40 yr old man in a 9yr's body! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Super cool!! I have my first tomatos of the summer!!!! :cool1:

The "early girls" have given me 3 small ones and I have a "roma" ripening along with a "better beef". For some reason I have very happy plants this year!

pdarrah (Pamela)

Stephanie are you still planning a few days at WDW in August or September???

Good question! I keep asking Jon that! LOL! I think he is trying to get me to agree to something after the Wedding.... He thinks he'll deserve/need a Disney fix after all the stress! :rotfl: :rotfl: He originally tried to get me to agree to fly from Cancun to WDW! LOL! And he would like to fit in a cruise during that time! LOL!

I told him that I think we have enough miles to fly us all round trip.... that might convince us to go on both trips! LOL!
