Well I'm back from the dentist. I had a deep root scaling done. UGH! I think I prefer the Gyno!

Tonight we are going to a Texas Hold 'Em Cancer Fundraiser. Our nephew
(15) who is in remission from leukemia is raising money for Childhood Cancer. What a brave and inspirational kid he is. We haven't been able to see him for a while and we are exciting to visit with him tonight!

I just woke up from a nap... had a 3 year old climbing over me while chatterring about something. And I asked for some peaceful protection from my spouse just before I fell asleep...

Oh well... I was wonderin' ... as you made reference to "doing services with them" ... and you're having dinner with the officers? This has me guessing as to if you're a minister ... or military chaplin or something? And "officers" has a capital "O".... so does this imply anything as well?

Anyway... my spouse just apolagized and ushered the kids into the back of the house... an' it should have been done before I was awakened.

SO - I can relate to Andy's mention of havin' a blissfully quiet home without his girls around.

Yes, I did manage to get a nice Power Nap in this afternoon before Hazel arrived home a little bit ago...............

Mattapulco is a friend from NY who will be on the cruise with us. ( Rarely posts)

We got our 1st color TV when I was 8 years old, the color was picture was horrible as I recall, but at least it was in LIVING COLOR.............

Got mine as a graduation from HS in 67. It was a portable and the color for the most part was pretty decent.

Mattapulco is the son of that famous tenor from NYC via Capri

Looks like someone just has WAY too much time on their hands to do all that calculating!

I have only posted a few times because, to be honest, I do not really lurk here anymore. Too many posts are just huge quotes of the post before and/or take up way too much screen with sig lines and pictures and.... Don't mean to start any kind of war, just saying that it is just way too hard to follow any lines of communication here unless you live here a few times each day. I just don't have the time for that.

Obviously you DO lurk here because you seem to have noticed our signatures and photos.....How else do you expect this many people to get to know one another. We care about each other's lives. We want to see what a special day someone here had. I realize you may find it annoying because you do not know most of the people here, but we do care. If you do not want to take the time to get to know your fellow travelers then why would you want to folow our lines of communication? At times there are several conversations going on at the same time. Most of the itme we have talked about a special trip and then posted our photos or are sharing our children.

Maybe if you came on less accusationally and just asked what information you were trying to obtain, you would realize that there are no less than 50 regulars around here who would gladly answer your concern. I don't have a great deal of time either. I read only the last few pages when I come back on. I know if I missed anything majorly important someone will have requoted it or one of my fellow PEEPS will let me know. I am sure I miss things that people say or do but you do what you can. I don't think it is worth being upset at those who do care to chat alot. (Tom can't help it if he is a lawyer and has no work to do........ ...Tom I am truly kidding)

Anyway just wondering what you were hoping to accomplish by insulting posters here. If you want to be a part of the group then that is GREAT but just jump in and accept those that have a different approach to this thread. I am not trying to be rude I just think that we are a family of sorts and I just think its a little rude to walk into a strangers home and insult their lifestyle. You might want to get to know them before you criticize so readily.

And BTW many many people have GTY because DCL overbooked the cruise. They will not be assigning rooms until full payment. So you will have to pay before you know what room you will be in more than likely.

At this stage I'm planning on coming. I just want to wait and see what room they are going to assign to me. I have listed a preference, but all they will do at this time is give me a "guaranteed" category room.

I have also booked the 5 day cruise immediately after the repositioning. I figured it was a lot cheaper, in the long run, than paying for room res, meals, entertainment, et cetera.

Well then you need to formally introduce yourself and your traveling companions. Now would be a good time to show our version of the GTY room so you will know where they will be putting you
