Did all her friends gush over her tattoo??

Yes, and some of the teachers did too, in fact, Angelina's English teacher had the school photographer take a close up shot of the tattoo..............:rotfl:

Trying to stay calm before we head out tomorrow....I'm a bit anxious when we travel. But this made me laugh!! Thanks:thumbsup2

Stace have a safe trip tomorrow. Relax and enjoy yourself----you deserve it:hug:

:sad1: :sad1: I'll miss you Paula!

We as moms really do have the power, don't we.:cool1:

Anyone remember that old He-Man cartoon? After reading this I immediately thought of the part when he pulls his sword out and yells "By the power of Greyskull" and then after he changes into He-Man "I have the POWER!":rotfl2:

Great pictures Todd! You are one amazingly cool Dad!

Thanks again, guys.....I'm stressing over the flights....so it's nice to be "here" and see my peeps.
Depending on how much the internet costs, I'll try to be on here when I can! Maybe post some pics, too.

See ya later!

You have no idea how proud we are!!! I just loaded this pic in real quick, I didn't have the time to edit the pic, this was taken after the ceremony this evening.

Dang those wisdom teeth......I keep hoping that he will call me tomorrow and tell me he is gonna come on in to work. David Allan Cole is gonna be in concert next door so we should be pretty busy. But I am not holding my breath:)

Well if you get away early we west coasters are usually on pretty late!

I know I wish there wasn't such a big time difference. But I am going in a 11pm and get off at 7am. Hopefully I may be able to sneak out around 5 or so. But I have inventory and end of the month books in the morning, that usually takes about 4 or 5 hours to finish up. So I will probably be snoozing away the first part of chat.:)

Next thing you are going to tell me Esteri doesn't come up with the pirate jokes herself.

I think she doesn't...

<chuckles>

 What dirty rotten liar said that!! I'll have you know I R&D* ALL my material!!

Yes...I'm always up for good friends and free food, but the whole life thing is getting in the way!

DH is taking about a month of leave this summer and starts his new job Aug. 1. If someone ever decides to employ me  ...I hope to be working by the end of August also. So we should be there end of July-ish, a few days around Jan. 13for the marathon and a few days around May 4 for the in-line marathon.

Life. Sheez.

Still, look how often you get to go now. We bought DVC when we were in the DC area. Now we're in CA and it's a bit more of a trip. :guilty:

At the risk of being permanently banned, and knowing there are some Harry Potter (or Star Wars by another name - according to JR) fans here...

Check this out

I've never been to that other park. But this just might get me there. Sounds cool.

We just arrived home a little bit ago from the 1st Annual Eagles Nest Awards. Hazel and I didn't know this was the first such awards that school will now be doing on an annual basis. There were around 60 students that were given this award and each student was selected by a teacher or staff member of the high school. I haven't had time to load the pics that I had taken this evening, but Angelina made us so proud and we got MANY compliments from several of Angelina's teachers. When Angelina came forward to receive her award and certificate I'm the one who had butterflies in my stomach and also had the buttoms popping off my shirt. After I get the pics loaded, most likely tomorrow, I will post a couple and also include what Angelina's English teacher had to say about her. All in all, it was a wonderful evening and yes, some tears were also shed.

Don't you really mean:

Tom - It only gets better with every revision. :)

The 4th grade play last night was AWESOME!! Called "The Girl from Spirit Island". About a Native American tribe in the Great Lakes who adopt a baby survivor of a Small Pox outbreak. She is unaffected when Small Pox comes to the tribe and nurses most of her family back to health. Though her infant brother is lost. She grieves for her little brother and the family helps her with her grief by telling her her own story and assuring her that her Spirit family is now caring for her little brother, like her Earth family cares for her.

It was written by a member of the staff based on a book our teacher read to the class at the beginning of the year. It was about 45 minutes long, so there was a bit more to it than I outlined. The play was wonderful - and so where the 10 year old is developmentally; leaving the dreaminess of childhood behind, and entering into the new "earthy" experience of being Here. The class did it with reverence.
