OMG!!! You mean that DH isn't the only one?!?!?! That has been something that I have not been able to put a stop to. I just bought him three new white shirts because I CANNOT allow him to go out of the house with the ones that he has & I can't get them clean no matter what I try.

Holy cow...he's doing this on his own??!! I must have missed that part. How great for him! He'll do just fine. He's past the early tiny baby stage and just hitting the fun parts. Well, until Antonio hits the stinky pre-teens.
My DH could have run the whole show by himself, too. It was so great for me that way. If I needed to go somewhere, I could just walk out the door. Jay knew the kids' schedules as well as I did.

Yes, he's single. He's been at this for some 3 years now. Going through the state as he couldn't incur the expense of private adoption. The problem is (a) he's single and (b) he was too laissez faire when dealing with the social workers. It's sad but we (and even a social worker) had told him if he were to simply state that he's gay (and he's not) then he would have been at the top of the list for a placement!

DW put it best: Had he knocked up some chick (sorry to be crude) and she said "I can't deal with this" while leaving the baby with him, he would have raised the child and everyone would say how wonderful he is, what a great guy for stepping up blah blah blah. But that he is a single man and wants to adopt and care for a child not biologically linked to him...well people think that's strange or worse (can you say Michael Jackson?)

Our good friend back East (actually, the brother of DSil in our traveling party) just had his new child!!! Child Services came by today at 4 and delivered 5 month old Baby Antonio!!!!​

If all goes well he should be able to finalize by December or January! ​

I want to know what's with SC that they have such "cheap" gas?

A lot of State to State difference in gas price is the state tax amount. NJ is low. However, if you compare the "pre-tax" costs, there is no rhyme or reason to how the gas thiefs, I mean gas companies set their rates.

Try using white vinegar right on the stains for 2-3 washes, it should help, not 100%, but 50-75% depending on degree of stains.

Don't think I shared with all of you, if I did, sorry for repeating, but I'm just so excited.

For my Med cruise, I had been planning on going to DL Paris for a few days prior. But had my car in the shop last week and it cost me a pretty penny. I was seriously considering cancelling the Paris part of my trip. Well, checking the DCL site I saw that the Cat 12 price had dropped drastically. So I switched my Cat 11 to a Cat 12 GTY (crossing fingers for an upgrade) and saved $2K. So all is right with the world and I'm still going to Paris!

That's awesome.
It is so hard not to run out and book this cruise with the amazing shrinking prices!

Ummm... for any West Coasters - have any of you with pets noticed anything weird about them. I have one who's going through postpartum depression (she's never been prego yet) just thinks she has but she's REALLY been driving me nuts. Now the other one is starting!

Whining and whimpering and antsy, she's been pacing, scratching the carpet and jumping the door to be let out only to be howling to be let back in. She did this once before when we had the freak wind/rain storm a few weeks back. Just curious if she's sensing something or what. Anyone else having this problem - or is she just

Oh that's a little scary. What with some believing that animals are more sensitive to impending earthquakes.

My pup currently isn't any crazier than usual.
