How do you know when to go to sleep, get up, go to or leave work? It must be confusing posting in one time zone, being on DIS time and living in another time zone.....

I go to sleep when I am tired.
I get up when I wake up.
I go to work when I feel like it.
I leave work when I feel like it.

Sometimes I switch the order -- go to work, go to sleep, wake up, come home.

I was up crazy early this morning. I have a phone interview at 7 am my time. Not my best time of day in terms of sounding like an intelligent, articulate person. (In case you are wondering, I haven't exactly found the right time of day for that, but my odds are better when I'm awake!)

Thought I'd share this tidbit of inforamtion that I just saw in an e-mail I received overnight.

At three minutes and four seconds after 2 AM on the 6th of May
this year, the time and date will be 02:03:04 05/06/07. This will
never happen again.

The one thing no one has mentioned is that on 03:04:05 06/07/08

We will all be SO CLOSE to TOAL!

You know, you could do what I think our meter reader does -- just guess at the actual amount of the meter and don't actually kneel down and read it.

Or would that be unethical?

How is this for nifty? We pay a flat rate for water. Same bill every month. Our meter is in a crawl space behind a wall in our garage - I doubt I could get to it in less than 10 minutes. Not much job security for Andy, but it sure is nice.

My two sisters and I shopped QVC last nite. We had the CS rep confused with three of us on the phone(3 Way) I knew alot of the items would go fast. Can't wait for the packages to arrive! But I can wait for my VISA bill to arrive.

I didn't do too bad! I printed up the list off of QVC site so I knew what I wanted. I got the Micky Diamonique earrings, Mickey 10" ankle bracelet and the set of 4 princess bracelets and pens. I'm wait listed for the tiara necklace birthstone one for July and May. I debated too long on them. i usually use automated ordering.

After 28 years of reading the meters the correct way, I'm not about to start guessing at the readings now...............

And because you are such a nice guy you must realize that an really rude remark made by anyone would warrent that post being deleted. I really hope that doesn't come to be. The last PC EB repo thread was shut down completely due to rude remarks that went way over the line not only with the members of that group but with the WB repo thread as well.

You must have the same reader I used to have at my old house. They really got upset when I used to guess at what I should pay and send that amount!



That was the gas meter tho.... Our water folks have put in little computer type gizmos and all you do is put the reader against the little pad and "presto" (not really sure what happens at that point, but "presto" sounded good)

Yes, that type of meter is known as a "Touch Pad" we have many of them in our township. Once the machine in touching the pad on the side of the house, a button is pushed and the reading is displayed on the machine. We started using these in 2001.
