Thought I'd share this tidbit of inforamtion that I just saw in an e-mail I received overnight.

At three minutes and four seconds after 2 AM on the 6th of May
this year, the time and date will be 02:03:04 05/06/07. This will
never happen again.

They said that after 00:01:02 03/04/05

and will say it again before 03:04:05 06/07/08
and 04:05:06 07/08/09
and 05:06:07 08/09/10
and ....

I love technology!

We are halfway between Fredneck and Baltimore. I just ordered dinner from Outback online. It will be ready to pick up by the time we get near home. The really cool thing is that they will bring it to the car!

Now if you could just get them to deliver it to you on the freeway so you didn't have to stop.

Of course when someone wants to reply to one you multiquoted, they need to cut out all the other stuff or you end up with a bunch of disjointed phrases....

You can also hit backspace 2 times when you see the blue screen ("We are not taking you to your post...") and you will be back at the post you replied to.

Oh yeah, I was also going to ask- is AWE the last of the POC movies? Because I got an email just awhile back that was from the disney website (I get emails from them all the time) and it mentioned this was the LAST one? I thought it was mentioned here that this was NOT the last one?
If it's the last one I'm going to be sad...

In the movie business, there is never a "last". It could be the last POC, but then a new set of CJS or similar movies come out. Its all $ and cents.

I haven't watched TAR in weeks. We have all the episodes recorded, but frankly, we have both been bored by this season. If I want to hear a short person screeching, I'll go into my daughter's room after denying her dessert.

Hey guys.

It's been awhile. I came home from WDW last weekend and it's been a blur ever since. Work has been..... well..... let's just say they need to handout Hefty Bags at the front door because the stuff was flying all over the place. All this was capped off on Friday with a phonecall from by boss telling me that my request for help was approve except at a grade higher. Huh? And that there is going to a massive shakeup in my office. Basically the Site Director is being releived of his job. The only thing that surprises me is that it has taken the higher ups this long to do it. I suspect that some of the other dead wood will finally be gotten rid of. All this happens this Friday. The VPs are flying up unannounced.

On a day-to day basis this does not effect me. I only have a dotted-line reporting relationship to him. It does effect me in that, my Global Director is being brought in to run the site. I'm glad because he is the person who can turn the site around. We're not sure however where this leaves my group.

One of the scenerios is that my boss moves into the Global Director position. Your's truely would move into the NA Director position. This explains the reason for bump in grade for my open position. This person becomes my replacement in NJ.

Would I take it? Yea, I think I would. It would mean moving to Atlanta. I'm at a point in my life where I need a change. If this were to happen it would not be till later this year- early 2008.

There are also some other scenerios that could play out. All of which keep me in NJ but make me wonder what boss will do. This concers me. It's going to be an interesting summer.

Good luck. I lived in Atlanta for 13 years and SWMBO was raised there. Some parts of it are very nice and you can't beat the weather in the winter.

You know, you could do what I think our meter reader does -- just guess at the actual amount of the meter and don't actually kneel down and read it.

Or would that be unethical?

You must have the same reader I used to have at my old house. They really got upset when I used to guess at what I should pay and send that amount!



That was the gas meter tho.... Our water folks have put in little computer type gizmos and all you do is put the reader against the little pad and "presto" (not really sure what happens at that point, but "presto" sounded good)
