I Know my answer before I ask, however.....
We were supposed to go to the Dominican Republic this Nov. with my cousins and their families and some friends.
I really didnt want to go ( since we have to pay for TOAL)
DH really wanted to, since this is our party crowd and we dont do much of that anymore.
Today my oldest DB and his wife invited us to..where else....Disney the 1st week of December. Staying at their timeshare. (but I would probally use my moms ts)
My sil is just as much a Disnut as I am and is really the only other person I know that gets my addiction.
We didnt book the 1st trip yet, now I have DH rethinking his position.

Should we do all inclusive in the DR or Disney?????

Well almost always. Probably the only time I'd not say Disney is if we couldn't afford Disney and then we'd go somewhere cheaper. Hard to believe that going to places like Jamaica is cheaper, but it is. LOL
Hey guys.
It's been awhile. I came home from WDW last weekend and it's been a blur ever since. Work has been..... well..... let's just say they need to handout Hefty Bags at the front door because the stuff was flying all over the place. All this was capped off on Friday with a phonecall from by boss telling me that my request for help was approve except at a grade higher. Huh? And that there is going to a massive shakeup in my office. Basically the Site Director is being releived of his job. The only thing that surprises me is that it has taken the higher ups this long to do it. I suspect that some of the other dead wood will finally be gotten rid of. All this happens this Friday. The VPs are flying up unannounced.
On a day-to day basis this does not effect me. I only have a dotted-line reporting relationship to him. It does effect me in that, my Global Director is being brought in to run the site. I'm glad because he is the person who can turn the site around. We're not sure however where this leaves my group.
One of the scenerios is that my boss moves into the Global Director position. Your's truely would move into the NA Director position. This explains the reason for bump in grade for my open position. This person becomes my replacement in NJ.
Would I take it? Yea, I think I would. It would mean moving to Atlanta. I'm at a point in my life where I need a change. If this were to happen it would not be till later this year- early 2008.
There are also some other scenerios that could play out. All of which keep me in NJ but make me wonder what boss will do. This concers me. It's going to be an interesting summer.

First off- I'm editing your post so you don't have a link there or say it all the way -so we don't get in trouble (see post below) but why don't you like it? I guess in some ways it's annoying and the way people use it. But I'm just using it only for FRIENDS AND FAMILY (not strangers out there just signing up on my account as a friend- nope!) as a central place for me to post, email, show pictures, etc. I'm posting bargains and stuff there too- so now I have a place I can post and ALL my friends can get the lowdown on any sales/etc. that week instead of everyone asking me seperately. LOL

DS could use some extra
because MIL is having surgery 5/7...the day of their practice. She is having the worst kidney removed...which will allow them to remove the rest of the tumor that has grown around her tube. Hopefully she will recover well and we will be here on 5/12 for his FC.
Sending extra super duper extra pixie dust for both DS and your MIL. I hope the surgery goes well! I'm so sorry she's having to go thru this.

JUST AS AN FYI EVERYONE.
Myspace accounts are not allowed to be posted on the boards. This decision was made primarily to protect the younger members of the DIS boards since that site isn't monitored and the DIS is concerned about the safety of all its members. There isn't a way to fairly allow some to post & some not though...so at this time it is not allowed in general. The WMs are keeping track of how that site is monitored and if it becomes safer, the policy might be revised. Thanks!
I can totally understand that. I figured there were probably some rules which is why I didn't link it or say it all the way out. I know I wouldn't want MY kids on there. I'm not even making my kids an account because I don't think they need it (even though my niece has one and she's only 10) and I've already seen in just the few days I've been on there all the requests for friendships from very questionable people with vulgar pictures as their host picture/etc. That's why I didn't post a link- I thought links to other sites weren't allowed anyway and I wouldn't want a kid clicking MY link then browsing amongst the rest of "that place".
