How is it possible that we can have conversations that make no sense at all, yet we totally understand each other? Does the nonsense cancel each other out, and suddenly become crystal clear?

Isn't that great about our group. Alot of us haven't met each other but sometimes we can be thinking the same things and write the same things. Could it be KARMA that we are linked together on this board?:thumbsup2

So who has DCL or WDW vacations between now and the TOAL?

How many and when/where?

We will be in Wilderness Lodge last week of June (21-29)

We might head down end of July or early August. Once we pick out a house, we’ll have to wait for the movers to bring our stuff. So, we can live in a VA hotel or we can live at WDW! Tough decision. That trip will depend on my job situation. Of course, now I'm on some pesky watch list, so it may complicate my job hunt.

Weekend trips in Jan ’08 for the WDW marathon & April for the in-line skating marathon.

How many Cub Scouts will eat sauteed spinach?

More than I thought might. There were also about 25 parents on the trip. They loved it. A little olive oil, onions, garlic, spinach, a splash of balsamic & a sprinkle parmesan. We made that one up on the fly since we forgot to put the spinach in the salad.

I was happy my refund got me a cup of coffee at Starbucks (before tax). I usually end up paying for the vacations of about 100 IRS employees.

Mine might pay for an excursion. Better than last year, we owed for the first time.

On a day like this we should have some...............
PecanCoffeeCake.jpg

OH, I’m so glad breakfast is back! I missed the breakfast deliveries. Especially cake.

I am too conservative-- I would never pay for an escort. :scared1:

I agree. Why pay for an escort when you can get one for free?

Janet and I are heading to WDW on 9/1/07 and doing a Westen on the Magic on 9/8/07. My sister and her twins are joining us on 9/3/07. She has never been to WDW or on a cruise. They have been to DL many times. I can't wait so you can see that my focus is for my 07 vacation and when I return I will begin my planning for 08. At the rate this group is going you will have it all planned out. I will just need to pick and chose what I want to take part in. Lois

Do you have waders? Be careful out there!

Karen

No waders, but I did take my camera back with me this morning and got some pics. I will try and post some of them, but right now I have a 3 and 1/2 year old hanging all over my laptop table having me taking pics of her so that I can send to her mom at work.

How many knock-knock jokes does a 3 and 1/2 year old know? Too many..................:rotfl: Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know if they serve :cake: at Gitmo?

I am certain they do. Withholding :cake: would be consider cruel and unusual punishment under the Geneva Convention. Now, it might be Little Debbie Swiss Cake...

Okay - I am really strange - after 20+ years in advertising I burned out - my kids were "launched" - so I decided to go back to school - Yeah! - law school.

My DH decided at 36 to go to Law School. He graduated last May, took the bar for the 2nd time in February and now we're keeping our fingers crossed. For now, I am supporting us and he's home being the "kindergarten mom".

Do your kid's knock-knock jokes make sense? I hope so, because this is a typical one from my five-year-old:

[Princess] Knock-Knock
[yargrnhoj] Who's There?
[Princess] Chicken
[yargrnhoj] Chicken Who?
[Princess] Cow (followed by giggles)

That's a good one. My DD, who's almost 6, is just starting to understand what a Knock-Knock joke is supposed to be. Her standard was:

[Princess] Knock-Knock
[mom] Who's There?
[Princess] Peanut Butter
[mom] Peanut Butter Who?
[Princess] Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich (also followed by giggles)

[Princess] Banana
[VM] Banana Who?
[Princess] You (followed by giggles)

I've heard about 50 Knock-Knock jokes in about 10 minutes. Here is a pic of the joke teller, that I just sent to her mom(Hazel's niece).

I see, so the joke quality is the same. Maybe we can put all the little girls in a room on the TOAL and let them laugh themselves silly telling knock-knock jokes.

While I am at it though, I will tell my favorite knock-knock joke:

[yargrnhoj] Knock-knock.
[DIS] Who's There?
[yargrnhoj] The Interrupting Cow.
[DIS] The Interr..
[yargrnhoj] Moo.
