They also had a chrome Mickey head cover for the hitch.

Do you think they DIS? :lmao:

There was a good one of a top of the range sports car in our sunday papers last weekend, lady driver number plate

WAS H15 (Was His)

Hey John (Cheryl's DH),

If you run into trouble posting pics, let me know, I can post some for you until you are able to do so, it's my way of thanking Cheryl for the tip about THERA-GESIC............:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Andy PM me and I'll send you the pictures to post for me. :thumbsup2 We'll keep it a secret though

I understand you really like that Thera-Gesic. Usually it burns so much :faint: you forget about the pain you originally used it for.

John

Welcome!!! :cheer2: Cheryl is so nice & I'm sure you are too!

Thanks to you and everyone else. This gets kind of addictive.
Yes Cheryl is nice, heart of gold. Once she is your friend you will have her as a friend for ever.

I paid off both DCL cruise but need to get cash together for September to cover the flights to LA and back from Orlando.

Allow me to apologize in advance for the inevitable bullsh!te you and daipp will endure coming here. First, you'll have to be fingerprinted fot eh US VISIT program. Yeah yeah you're from a Visa Waiver country but they still fingerprint. And of course there's the whole paranoia over people buying one way international tickets! :sad2:

micmse2003: How did my post end up in your quote?

Here is what I wrote...........
We had the home inspection today. It lasted 2 1/2 hours ! Everything is good, just some minor stuff but realtor thinks the buyer will take care of himself. We will know more in a day or two. Still plan on moving last week in June.

 yay!

Realtors, ugh!!! (No offense to any realtor friends we have here ;)) It's just that lately they seem to add a layer of drama to the situation. The last house we bought was a straightfoward process, brand new house, seller was the builder. No appraisals, no endless meetings, no constant back-n-forth between us, 2 realtors and another party. Sorry, didn't mean to be bitter

Roger that! :thumbsup2

And when you check in, tell the ticket agent "No, I don't have any hold baggage, just this small carry-on and this bottle of water." ;)

We have several sites blocked at work too but Photobucket is not one of them than goodness! :surfweb:

They block quite a few here as well. Of course that can be defeated. Oddly enough, they were at least smart enough to block www.rewebber.com which is an anonymous routing site that would have allowed users to visit anywhere.

Adapt.
Evade.
Survive.

Some of the basic principles of SERE training! Has she considered a career in the military? If she comes to the academy here we'll keep an eye on her for you. ;) Perhaps she's training you for the eventuality when she goes on dates and you won't have the option of meeting the guy!

I rember looking at my mom like she had 8 heads when she asked if I got permission from the parents of my Military Ball date to take her? I told her "No, never eve met them. Then again, I'm taking her out, not them!. If they don't think I'm a decent enough guy for their daughter then perhaps they chould have trained her to better weed out bozos!" :teeth:

Nevermind what their sweet "innocent" daughter was up to later :rolleyes1

Well, this might have been one of the quickest prom dates in history. I guess when the young man heard that he had to meet the parents of his "date to be" he remembered that he had other plans for that evening. Sorry, but our ST doesn't go out with "ANYONE" unless we meet him first.

Actually, Angelina is a bit relieved, the only reason she was going to go was because her friend set up the date.

Well I really know what you mean, I understand tourisum from the UK to USA has fallen 20% recently and when asked people site the 'welcome' we have at the airports.

I will purchase open jaw tickets rather than one way, as Iknow the issue, in 2005 I had a one way USA ticket LV to Burbank and was subjected to hostile
immigration.

I would say to balance this Orlando has improved being a Disney destination they were very good in 2006.

We do the put head back, pill in back of throat, and rub throat till they swallow thing or they'd spit them out too....

Poor puppy :grouphug:

I put pills in a bit of wet food or maybe a slice of lunch meat. DDoggy woofs it down in one gulp! Just gotta watch the fingers! :scared:

Open jaw is probably your best bet. I didn't even think of it because of the added expense for our situation: DSil wants to "meet" us in Denver and then we all fly to my parent's place in SoCal. But PHL-DEN-(ONT or LAX) // MCO-PHL as an open jaw would be big $$$. Our best option would be for her to fly UA or Frontier as they'll connect via Denver and we just get on that flight. The airlines' websites balk at such a routing and only provided pricing when booked as OW tix.

You gotta love the irony...US starts fingerprinting foreign nationals (to include Visa Waiver countries) and as a retaliation, Brazil starts fingerprinting US nationals. But US officials try to get Brazil to relent because we're not the bad guys, ya know? :sad2: Fingerprinting is supposed to now include US Green Card holder and they want to cover US citizens as well but I'm sure they'll get a sound spanking over that one.

These were taken a few min. ago. I hope it's not too much TMI. You don't really see all the stitches on his knee. He looks sooooo sad.:sad1:

Such a sad puppy! :sad1:

We had to leave Ollie at the vet one time because he was feeling sick. They had him in the oxygen therapy kennel. So when I went to visit him you could see how sad he was but happy for a visitor. He thumped his tail in slow motion! :cloud9:

"Listening" to all the chat here about pets, I was wondering how many of us have pets?

What kind(s) do you have?
How long have you had your pet(s)?
What is/are your pet(s) name(s)?
What will you do with your pet(s) while on the TOAL?

I had 2 Bichon Frises. That's my Rosee (Yes the spelling is correct, her real name is Gypsy Rose E after the "dancer") in my avatar. We lost her in September to cancer. She would have been 10 this June. We also have Budde (actual name Budd E Bear). He will be 9 on May 27. While I'm on the TOAL, the breeder has agreed to take care of him for me as she will do while I'm in the Med. He loves it there. She has 5 of her own, so he gets lots of play time! I'd post a picture of him, but not sure how. My daughter figured out the Avatar thing for me!

I have priced up Virgin ( will have to book september) and open jaw:-

London>LA Orlando>London, is nearly the same as a LA return so thats ok.

I love the USA and understand the requirement for border control but it does put people well off.

Before 2000 it wasnt a breeze but was fairly fast i got through in 35 mins.
2001 in October was way over an hour and kids asking why are there guns there? We are coming to see Mickey again.

2002>2005 various changes fingerprinting, eye scan, photos etc.

Las Vegas 2005 on a single way trip, we were singled out although I purchased 12 months in advance and had a familiy with me.

2006 Orlando-better, they welcomed us and we were through Orlando in 20 mins to luggage and car hire!:thumbsup2

On the UK diss boards and through freinds the no1 reason not to go to USA is border control, the dollar is now $2 to the £1 thats great for us, but all our transatlantic flights have sales on.

With the Magic in Europe this year, I have two Europe holidays, border controls was a factor.

Usually is one Europe one USA.

Next year USA re repo, but that might be my last. I know we will do Europe in 2009.
