Of the two of us I am the only one who hasn't committed mutiny, therefore my word is the one we'll be trusting. Although, I suppose I should be thanking you because in fact, if you hadn't betrayed me and left me to die, I would have an equal share in that curse same as you.

The deepest circle of hell is reserved for betrayers and mutineers.

One interesting tidbit from our trip, and a first for us: We got pulled over for speeding on I-95 in Virginia!!!! Speeding, who us?? naaaaah, can't be ;)

Now you know we have that new teenager driver and our insurance rates just went through the roof already OUCH!. Well we left WDW at around 5:20 am after we gassed up and we arrived home in NJ at 10:05 pm last night, so I guess we were in VA around 4pm. After that many hrs on the road, it's all a blur. Anyway a Trooper pulled in front of us and motioned for us to pull over and he pulled over the guy in front of him too. At first we didn't think he meant us, we were travelling at 75 mph just 5 mph above the speed limit. But we decided we better pull over anyway. The Trooper then lectures us about travelling so fast in a 60 mph zone OOPS! Sorry Officer, really. He ran John's license and the man's license is clean as a whistle. One red light ticket from 1985 in all his 28 years driving. Then, believe it or not, the Trooper let us off with a warning, and told us if we didn't pull over when he motioned, it would have been a $2500 fine in addition to the moving violation!!! So thank goodness we will still be able to pay our insurance!! That's always the worst part of a ticket anyway!!

So that's what the Easter Bunny bought the O'Bs!!! HOORAY!

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Another bad spot in VA is on 4 going thru Henrico county.

Happy Easter,

DH and I were up booking excursions at 3 AM for our 7/7/07 DCL Med Cruise. We got all but one excursion we wanted and Palo for high tea, dinner and brunch. We learned from last year not to wait until 7 AM!

We can't wait to be back on the Magic!

That is great!!! Last time a bunch of us DISers were online at 3 am and didn't get Palo resies. :( The good thing about this cruise is that we will have even more opportunity to go there.

Sorry I've been away everybody. I have a new "obsession"...we decided to buy a Boxer puppy :dogdance: We can't bring him home untill next month,he's just now 4 weeks. In the meantime we have to put up a fence.

He's just gorgeous. We decided to name him "Harley" Guess I'll have to add him to my signature. As soon as I can figure it out, I'll post the pics of him.

Happy Bunny Day!

Awwww.....

It's gotta be really sweet to have a new critter in the house! Congrats!

I've been silently musing a bit over our state of cannine affairs at our home. Our dear Samoyed is really slowing down. He's had a good run of it though and sweet treatment with our home... however, he may not be around for many more years. So I have been mentioning to my spouse that another puppy might be a consideration some day not too far off...

At any rate... we gotta go shortly to meet up with my BIL and his family. They come into town every Easter and we're gonna get some lunch soon. SO I gotta go soon. We had a nice Easter egg hunt and program at church yesterday - and in the morning we had a HUGE brunch... TOmorrow I'll be driving about 6 hours to get around our "errands" and then Thursday we're off to Vegas for a little visit. We got a great deal on hotwire - the Westin for only $87 ... but I think I might have mentioned that in an earlier posting. I think I'm losing track of things a little ... sometimes.

OK.... have a great Easter Sunday everyone! :thumbsup2

Does leaving you to a whole weekend in DL with long lines with Stacey count?

My BIL who's visiting from Maui was at Disneyland on ... wednesday. The crowds were pretty intense so I DO have nothing but sympathy for any who ventured into the parks during the recent PEAK periods. I'm sure the parks were great fun - but the crowds probably dampened it a little too.

I'm runnin' out the door now... adios folks!

Reading various posts lots of people are missing out on Ressies on the Med trips and on shore trips. Private tour of Pisa seems to go in seconds and the main must sees go quickly, Palos also in high demand.

I remember on the 2005 Repo I could only get 2 of three ressies, Brunch and Afternoon tea, lots more spaces yes, but also lots more dissers, CC members etc who all love to crash computer's at 3am!

Mark glad you are warm.....it is cold here

Blake misses her new friend Laura

What a beautiful picture! I wish my kids were still young enough to dress up. :sad1:

thanks! we got all dressed up and ready to go to church for the early service...only to realize we were still too late!! ugh!! i was still glad the kids didn't mind staying dressed up!
i guess we're off to have easter dinner at my inlaws now. talk with you all later!

Funny Church story.....

DD was an altar server this morning.

She got the "special" job of assisting the priest as he walked around sprinkling holy water on the congregation.

She followed him as he walked along and as he needed to "re-load".

Well every time he sprinkled into the air, DD got quite a shower herself...

I think it's the cleanest ST has been all week.:rotfl:

After church as we were greeting the priest, i said "Thanks for the Exorcism."

We all had a big laugh..:lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I'd like to 'second' this thought...

.... it would indeed be a wonderful thing to have this be the case. And frankly, I can see it now... at 1AM there will be dozens of sleepy eyed DIS folk wandering the passage ways distributing fish hanging goodies... everywhere we look on the ship we'll see wandering patches of lime green clad folk... and on every deck as we come and go about we'll hear chuckles the faint sound of blenders runnin' behind closed doors every few paces! Yeah... cries of "TAKE WHAT YA CAN!!!" followed by the retort "GIVE NUTTIN' BACK!!!" will echo throughout the 2+ plus weeks on the ship plus pre and post cruise in LA and PC! It's gonna be a TOAL like no other.... I'm sure!

<with steady smiles and gentle chuckles>

And ... Happy Easter everyone!

Crash...I'd have to say that I think you hit the nail on the head with that description:thumbsup2!

I just had to post because I was flipping through the channels and they are showing Groundhog Day on Comedy Central.

So of course I had to stop and watch.

And that got me thinking.

If anyone has gotten a room number lately?

I had one on April 1 but then it went away again.

This is what WDW looked like too! It was hard to manuver through the crowds. That was, until, I took out my "well protected sword". J/K of course, but that sure would have cut me a path now wouldn't it?? :lmao:

I forgot my BLENDER for the meet!! Can you believe that?????? O'Blender accidently left the Blender at her front door in NJ!!!

I cannot do that for the TOAL!
