As much as I harass Andy for his 3:45 early mornings, I'm one of those who wanders the decks in the wee hours

DisneyCruise077.jpg

Sound like so far it will be Tom, Brack and M. on the dawn patrol. Here is the deal: you stay out of my pictures, I'll stay out of yours!

Hi There Andy.....we take 95 down and back but detour on 495 (I think) around DC. We will stop Friday night since we are leaving late afternoon, hopefully in southern VA or northern NC. But coming home we leave a 5 am Saturday and drive straight through. Usually enjoying a pizza by 10:30 pm. This year I am not sure since there might be Easter traffic. We should try your scenic route.

I also saw Terry's post about her dream. Subconsciously she must have made the connection the we are travelling to WDW at the same time later this week (WOO HOO). It's not like we are talkng about our trips or anything :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Since I will be doing all the driving, we will most likely stop in Virginia as well on Friday night. That's what we did last time, then got up early Saturday morning and arrived in Florida early Saturday evening. On the way home, we will most likely spend the night in Lumberton, NC that is about our halfway point.

Wow!!! I'm packing now and I just opened up my toiletry bag (my most fav bag of all) I haven't used it since our August cruise..........Great memories are flooding back........

I can't wait for our TOAL and to meet and cruise with all you guys!!!1:grouphug:

oh look.....there's my sea bands and Bonine........and my Downy Wrinkle Release, and my eentsy weensty highlighter.......my clothes pins...............

17 MONTHS BETTER GO QUICK!!!!!

I'm late on the congrats to Aneglina!
I figure if you have to have a lousy minimum wage job as a teen, it might as well be someplace fun. I worked at the Disney Store when I was a year or 2 older than she is. It was hard to be in a bad mood in that place. The only downside is that the video/music loop is only about 45 minutes long...over and over and over again!

It's so true "M" she was grumpy when we left this morning, but she was all smiles when she got out of the car and started walking in to the mall. After we dropped her off, I parked the car, the Hazel and I stopped at a cookie store, bought a tray of cookies and dropped them off at the store for "ST" and her co-workers, the Hazel and I went to Friendly's for a bite of lunch. We "peeked" in at B-a-B on our way out, and "ST" was busy stuffing a Ninja Turtle for a little girl, and she looked so happy, made mom and I feel very proud and happy as well............:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

OK, I need a nap, I started reading your post, and I thought you said you opened up your toilet bag........................:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

"Memories,
Like the corners of my mind
Misty water-colored memories
Of the way we were
Scattered pictures,
Of the smiles we left behind
Smiles we gave to one another
For the way we were" :rolleyes1

And will be again on our TOAL, right MR!

:wave2: all -

Did I miss anything? My ethernet cable box went out and it only took 3 days to figure that one out  Anyway, just clicked on as we're still trying to figure out why this is sllllloooooowwww! Took 15 minutes for the AOL logo to come on - so I resorted to my Sprint card and am on that way while the home computer starts up - what a way to get on DIS huh? :dance3:

Anyway, just had to share -

WE SAW WICKED LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!

Its playing at the Pantages Theatre here in LA and it was the most AWESOME AWESOME play!!!!:woohoo:

It truly makes you laugh, cry and cheer - needlessly to say I am now a diehard Elphaba fan! :woohoo:

The costumes are great, the play was hilarious and I hope this goes on to give Cats a run for its $ !

Also - on a sharing note - my "stinky teen" (who's almost 20 now) gave me the most wonderful gift - at the end of the show they were soliciting donations for Project Angel Food in here in SoCal and Project Hospice for HIV - well they took all kinds of donations, but for $100 - you got to take home a poster of Wicked that was signed by all the CM's! As I said -

IT WAS AWESOME!!!!

As soon as the curtain came down and the bows were taken to standing ovations of course - one of the male CM's made the announcement - when my oldest DD saw my face at the announcement - she proceeded to look at me and say - "You want that don't cha?" I was torn as we went with a group of 8 - thru a city run program so I didn't do the driving - we took a bus - it was myself, my 2 DD's 13 & 19 and my SIL and my niece - 10 and DD's friend, Boyfriend and youngest DD of friend. They didn't bring any extra $ and I felt that it was such a shame to go and see a wonderful show and not have a momento of it other than a photo - so I broked down and used my emergency cash and got them all a T-shirt - the down side to this WONDERFUL OZMIC night was the price tage at the end of the night :scared1: .

Now does anyone have any ideas who to tell spouse that I spent over $600 on T -****, and a signed poster? BTW, did I mention it was awesome? :woohoo: I don't care the show was awesome and the night was pixiedust: pixiedust: so anyway, Mother's day is coming up right?

So if you all see an almost DIS board green T-***** on board with the words - Defy Gravity on them - its me - :wave2: and say hi - its me - the newest Wicked Witch of the West convert (as if I wasn't already a villian fan! :maleficen ) Only my Marie Osmond Baby OZ dolls and tiny tot dolls and the Ruby Red Slippers that are all stuffed into my curio in my entryway will give me away as an OZ fan -

Anyway, sorry so long - I'm excited - can you tell? :woohoo: :woohoo:

ok enough blabbing of the fingers - on my way to ketchup on the recaps - no way I'm going to do over 100 pages now - too excited! :rotfl:

(Laura #2 says she sits in her WICKED T-**** and is sitting cross-legged on the couch on her laptop - the crazy things you do to get on DIS and speak with our other family huh?) :lmao:

I'm back from the recaps - looks like we're the only ones on! Are you getting excited? :woohoo: :woohoo: I am - looks like I'm on my way over to the Med thread to catch up there - will be back soon!

Glad you enjoyed the show.....

I've seen Wicked twice. First time at the Kennedy Center, Jan 06. Had to sit it second time because ST and DH whined so much because i didn't take them the first time. (kennedy center was a gym girls only day out)

i loved it both times. Of course i didn't cry the second time like i did during the first show. (since i knew the ending)

Now, some of my friends and i just saw CATS at the Warner theatre and i frankly wasn't all the impressed. (Maybe i'm the only one) I even fell asleep during the second half. You can only take so much "here's this cat, and here's that cat, and we really don't have a story...we're just cats"

One of my friends has a DS who stage directs for his HS theatre group. The last couple weekends they were putting on "Suessical - the Musical". I took DH, ST and ST friend. I liked it. DH didn't get it as much.
They weren't bad for ST's.

Gotta run...

DD is in a student horse show today and we have to pick her up....

Well my DH just came down from the attic.......and there.......in it's own special bag..........Wait..........Here it comes.........There it is.........THE BEAUTIFUL CORDLESS BLENDER!!!!!!........and it's ugly step-sister the corded blender.......(insert beautiful heavenly music here)..........NOW VACATION CAN BEGIN!!!!!
