Just got a call from DU. We got upgraded on our cruise this Saturday! We had connecting SPH rooms (cat 10) now we have connecting 7's with the nav. verandahs. What a way to start the day

HEY..........you were so close to us - we are exit 86 Atlee/Elmont! Traffic is always bad on 95 on Sat and Sun - its awful, we avoid it if at all possible. Part of the reason for the congestion was the Monument Ave 10K - which I am proud to say I ran and did quite well. Sorry you ran into tough spots - have fun on vacation!

I think I have let my girls sleep long enough this morning, it's time to get them up so we can meet up with the rest of the family that is gathering today at the springs.

Just came back from taking a little walk after dropping some postcards in the outgoing mailbox here in our complex. I love being able to wear shorts and t-s***** this early in the morning, oh what sweet bliss this is!!!

The water that comes out from the springs is a constant 70* to 72* year round. It might seem a bit chilly at first, but it sure will feel nice in the 85* temps we will be reaching this afternoon!!!

Good Evening everyone! Hope everyone down south is having a great time. We went and saw Meeting the Robinsons in 3D. It was a cute movie. Lost it at the end when a quote about moving forward came on the screen. It was a quote from W. Disney. Must of been needing a good cry! The name just popped off the screen. They gave out good 3D glasses. Oh no I missed the new Travel Channel show on DCL. Showed the Flying Dutchman!

My kids really want to see Meet the Robinsons, but we are so busy in the next couple of weeks so I think it's going to be a while before we make it.

Have to get Rockys stuff together as he is spening the day with his Uncle Chad.Can't bring him to my Moms as she would be upset if he jumps on her furniture.

We're driving. My wife does not fly . We have been driving down to Florida for the past 10 years. Occasionally we take the Auto Train from Lorton Virginia.

We'll probably get there tomorrow evening. We stay one night at Carribean Beach then at OKW till the 10th and then 3 nights at Beach Club Villas.

Actually money IS an object. If it wasn't, we wouldn't need the famouse O'Blender and O'Backpack. We could all just drink $7 frosty goodness from the bars.

I'll do both. What does that say about me? Money is most definitely an object, but not when it comes to my frosty drinks. That's what my onboard account is for!

We have SB Castle. I want Tink, but since both cards for an account need to be the same, DH vetoed it.

What does it say about me? I like Disney!

Actually we rack up points by charging everything and paying it off 2x a month, and I don't think a week goes by that a cashier doesn't tell me about his/her family's first trip to DL or WDW.

We use it for day to day purchases and pay off at end of everymonth. Since DCL takes it for the on-board account, its like an extra credit.....

We do the same thing! But lately we've been getting a little behind!

Congrats! That's a big accomplishment!!

We joined the Y this weekend. Mainly because DW wants to be able to get a good workout while DS is being watched. They have ChildWatch for up to 2 hours/day at no extra charge. The other reason for joining is I need to learn to swim in time for the cruise next year. I guess that should be enough time to learn

The only thing I haven't paid off in full is the 0% cruise balance.

Fortunately, your weather report doesn't make me feel too terribly jealous though...it's been really really nice and in the 70's here in middle America for the past few days. Had a rip-roaring storm here that knocked the power out for a little while on Saturday. But it's all good now. Sunny and gorgeous!!!
(but of course it's supposed to be back down in the 30's by Wednesday... )

As for the Disney Visa, I have the red one with the pixie dust...What does it say about me? It says that I found out that I can switch to one of the others months ago, and I just haven't gotten around to doing it!
We try to use ours and keep it paid off too. But we're a bit behind also...

dear micme2003: wowser, i hate to admitt but i have orginal
records from the muppet movie to the partridge family...
..but wasn't that you in the front row of a special- they did
on david cassidy? ...throwing [ gulp ] , underclothing that he
caught??? , just what i thought!

noticed they focused alot more on the "wonder"? & only gave a
quickie glimpse on the new ships...the disney legend, and the disney
lil'grumpy...well it sounded good to me! did you "see" the steel
band? ...then there was brent all over the plce...."wishing
he was a kid again....as if he isn't already? ...on the 11-dayer
i was in his office as he did his announcing & to record the chimes...
i think he's prefect for disney..cos he believes in what he is doing & he
so down to earth...but iam not going to say what i saw in there....
it's a secret! * i like pin trading if nothing else, interacting with
some of the crew...you know what was cute? ...one of the guys was
using "it" as a way to "work" a lil' afffections toward one of the
officer...{i was the pawn}. ok?!, i may be "slighlty"..&


i mean slighly on "top of the hill"...but i still remember vying for
a young lady's favors? * wow! was my first impression of my'lil'
miss ....but it was acts of kindness that i thought was so
attractive...when i used to do the clubs, i saw many ladies giving
guys this attitude...how they ever thought that was
attractive is beyond me...[once i remember a young navy officer
asking why some guys asked her- when it was obvious they were
below her????? my advice...be careful what you are turning down,
cos~ real treasures are most often hidden....it is true that i was a
pretty good dancer..in a former life. wanta know where to learn
great dancing for free? american band stand & get a mirror!

.....true i was never really pretty, but i did dressed up..platform
shoes with bell bottoms, and flower shirts, knitted around the
midrif, and my london fog coats....all my platform shoes had
taps..back & front. let me tell you, all night took work!

so micme2003, if you don't believe me, ask her if i didn't pick
her up with one of those giant hersely's chocolate...but skip
over "what she thought" were "up to no good behaviors".

Good grief! I can't stand bullies! The kids have finally stood up to the 7 1/2 yo terror on our street. They came in with a friend of theirs to play while getting away from him. When I told them that he can't come in our yard, they drew on the driveway. They wrote NO MATTHEW ALLOWED. Well, he came around & didn't like it & tried to get it off of the driveway. OY! Not much later he rode on his bike with his mom to show her. Sorry, but my kids can write pretty much what they want to on our driveway. He pushes DS off of his bike, calls them all names at one time or another, swings a stick at a 3 yo, and holds down another 3 yo on the ground while yelling at him....then he needs to go get his mommy because he doesn't like what the kids wrote? Sorry, but that really irks me. I was hoping that she would come to the door so that I could tell her what I really think about her DS. I had already hosed the chalk off so she didn't see anything. I explained to the kids that they have the right not to play with someone if they choose to...but they don't need to be mean to him
