DRAT!

I've been scanning the BBC and SciFi channel line up and I did not see any coverage! How can this be? I'll have to double check to DVR it if it is on after all!

Good Morning Everyone :surfweb:

Thank goodness it's Saturday and I finally have a weekend with no plans :cool1: :cool1:

Hello CC, nice to be on at the same time as you, Doctor Who starts its new series of 13 episodes tonight on BBC1 in the UK, Do not know how long you have to wait for it there.

For those playing ketchup, during this weeks chat, a new alternative to the space age anti-bathroom solution (diapers) was discussed. It was suggested that y'all should check it out.

Ya kno...

... even if we NEVER ever met... this is STILL a fun diversion. We make friends and share travel tips, ideas, shoot... anything that can be WRITTEN ABOUT or an image googled (especially in MY case, eh?)... well... it's all excanged and shared for any to see here. I for one find this is a tolerable diversion. Convenient even.... unlike some diversions... eh?

Well...

... Ive gotta run any moment now. Gotta recheck the cabel lineup quick... got 3 easter egg hunts and the pot luck... somethings' gotta give cuz that's too much for one day.

Good morning to ya all and, regretfully, Adios folks!

And before I turn in for the evening...

Here is the latest nstallment of

7 Literary questions

book.gif

1) What was the last thing you read which was longer then 2 paragraphs?

2) Do you have any favorite catagories of reading

3) What did you bring to read on your last trip? C'mon - fess up - name it all if ya dare!

4) Any word games you like to engage in? What are they?

5) DO YOU REMEMER what sort of GRADES you got in your english or literary classes? What were the classes and your grades??? What-ever you can recall

6) Who reads more - you or your spouse?

7) What is the next book (or anything) you plan on reading next... be it tomorrow or tonight? ..... or when-ever....

Extra points scored for humor - however - all responses should have a thread of candor as opposed to being pure fiction. I shall contribute my reponses on these questions when next I log on... or by sunday since my saturday is jam packed with 3 easter egg hunts and a pot luck dinner gathering. IE, I don't think I'll be on much saturday...

Good nite and Enjoy!

1. Mr. Darcy Takes A Wife
2. Mystery/Suspense are my preference but I will read just about anything that I can get my hands on - romance, classics, history, biography, travel - especially when desparate.
3. Don't remember but I did bring 3 books, finished two and started the third.
4. I don't usually do word games
5. Yes...mostly A's and B's - especially when the classes were literary in nature, not grammer or usage.
6. I do - for example, after I signed off from chat last night I went to bed and read for another 2.5 hours.
7. Hopefully finish up my current book (see 1) or Business Research for Decision Making (so I can finish up my last class towards my bachelors).

Hate to post and run but got things to do today...need to do the seasonal clothes swap - which will probably take me 3 or so hours to complete (just for me!:scared1: ) and then have church tonight - long one because it's Palm Sunday tomorrow. Going shopping after with the family. I'll check back in later tonight everyone.

Hope you all have a great day!

There are two different things talked about on here, first is an "air card" which is basically a cell phone for computers and uses cellular signal to access internet. This can be accessed anywhere a cell phone can (more or less) but has a $45-60 fee per month. Looks like:

aircard_contents.jpg

Then there is wi-fi which requires a wireless router and can only be used within a few hundred (maybe 150) feet of the router. There is no cost for this beyond your internet service. Many businesses have free ( http://www.wififreespot.com/ ) or fee access based wi-fi on their premises. It looks like this:

They look similar minus an antenna usually on the air card.

Thank you. That's where I was getting confused in my search. Some that I had found had a monthly charge (and I pay enough as it is!) and some didn't seem to. Now I know exactly the difference. That makes it even more clear.

48,000 - 49,000

STs and why they can't be in pictures
Blah blah blah bad Jack costumes
Spring has arrived!!!
Only 5 more seasons till the TOAL
Embarrassing ST pics
Lots of board problems, lots of downtime, lots of DIS withdrawal
Promises that the website will be soon up and running
Blah blah blah Monorail Cat
Lots and lots and lots of getting to know you chat....
Veranda Man took 49,000
Score: Wenches 30 Jack 4 Swabbies 14 Evil Twins 1

Good job on the summaries Tom! Thank you for doing this! :thumbsup2

GOOD MORNING ALL

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND

How do you keep a fool in suspense???

I will tell you later!

Mornin Mary Ann !!

Andrew...I love the pictures! I can't wait to see it in person.

The pictures of Cartegena are lovely. There is a gal who works for my eye doctor who was born and raised in Colombia. They used to go to Cartegena for their vacations.
