My spouse made a big deal about our having to gedt the Dyson "Animal" in purple...

That is less than PURRfect

My youngest DS was "engaged" in pre-school. We found out when the prospective MIL/FIL told us about it at a party. We couldn't resist asking the then 3 or 4 yo about it. He was very sheepish but admitted it all. They were going to get married when they got tall. She dumped him a few weeks later for some other boy.....

Oh, the poor lad, getting his heart broke at such a young age...........:sad1:

Has anyone eaten snow since childhood? I know, I know, don't eat yellow snow. No need to go there people. But honest to goodness tasted fresh fallen snow? I was outside shoveling for an eternity and on a whim, went over and picked up some nice clean snow and chomped on it. The taste just brought back a flood of memories of wet soggy mittens, building snowmen and digging snow forts, actually enjoying being in the cold for hours on end, hot cocoa and toast. Course, the backache I'm dealing with is severly limiting my sitting in one place too long so it's time for bed, but wow, what a unique sensation.

I will admit it, I still eat snow from time to time, it's just that "little boy" inside of me crying out for youthful days......................;)

I understand that they are just flipped forward to get them away from the glass...like you do to change the blade...but don't understand what would keep ice from freezing around the hinge and keeping them from being able to be repositioned against the glass.

Even with after 3" of sleet, freezing rain and a little sn*w mixed in, once I got my windshield cleaned off yesterday morning, I was able to put the wipers back down without any problems whatsoever.

Yes, thank you because I don't need any of them at all.

BTW, Andrew ITA that is a very nice picture of you both. We have several shots of DS where he is resistant to being in them. Last week he didn't want to have a family picture taken & was slouching horribly. I told him that if he smiled & stood up straight every time I told him to that morning for the 30 minutes we were doing pictures, he would earn an hour of Ipod time. :lmao: I have found my leverage with him! :thumbsup2

For being good at home and doing homework my two get 'daddies dollars' to spend on holiday, this does work well, a few each week to spend on the holiday.

This year its 'Daddies Euros' for a change.

I know that it really helped me last cruise. I was able to recognize almost everyone from all of the pictures shared on the thread. :goodvibes

Before our first two cruises, I ran a welcome page on my website, for fellow DIS'ers who wanted to post photos. It was so nice being able to recongize others when we first saw them, whether it be at the Radisson, in the DCL Terminal, or on the ship.

We usually make "snow-cream" at least once a year but did not this year. My DW has a recipe that uses vanilla and other stuff. It's pretty good but not very WW friendly.

That sounds yummy!!!...............;)

Good night everyone! It was nice to see so many new faces in chat last night. :) Don't be afraid to jump in.

Mybe one of these Friday nights, if I can stay awake that is.................I might do more reading, than posting however...............:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I am a really shy person in real life (till I get to know people)................I've been on the net for over 10 years and never chatted. Way too scary, but I'll have to try it one Friday.

Hey Sooz, that sounds a lot like me in "real life" I tend to hide back away from the crowd, I just feel more free writing on the thread, than speaking in person, until I get to know someone, then look out..................:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
