I talked about getting a tattoo so she dared me and said if I did, she'd get her belly ring....I guess she didn't realize that I wasn't just joking around...

Someone remind me later NOT to be in the company of Monica in or near Vegas - especially if the topic of tattoing "this" or piercing "that" should ever arise!

Oh man....I have this terrible, irrational, paralyzing fear of sharks and when I look at this picture all I can think of is.....

I was the same way some years ago... (I think I'm over it now)... but after I first saw Jaws... I had an irrational fear of sharks AND taking a simple shower! The shower felt as if I were in a SHARK CAGE!

The Eagle is also the mascot for our township's school district and township as well. The shirt Hazel has on is for our township's summer recreation program. But, we are also Philadelphia Eagles fans as well!!!

Well, I am a bit nervous today. Mark and I start dancing lessons tonight. Our church offers classes for couples. It is suppose to be swing and other types. I have no dance experience and no rhythm. I grew up in a church that did not allow dancing so I never had the opportunity to learn. I will probably be the entertainment for the rest of the class. That is probably how I will dance, or maybe like this.

Just STAY AWAY FROM THE POLE!

OK, it's time for me to get myself moving...........I have to go outside in the freezing cold and get the car cleaned off from all that crappy stuff that fell from the sky yesterday. The road in front of my house looks like it is covered with black ice. I really don't like driving in this stuff, but I don't have much of a choice today...................come on Spring!!!

I just got back from taking my DD (12) to get her hair cut. She had over a foot of hair cut off & she donated it to Locks for Love. It was down to her lower back & is now just below her shoulders. Wow what a change!

The other day we went & got her ears pierced. It's funny because she was holding out & adamant that she was "Never getting holes" in her ears. Well out of the blue she comes home from school and says, "I want my ears pierced!" Okaaaay. I guess she looked around in school & she said, "Mom every single girl has her ears pierced! And I mean every one! I didn't see one girl that didn't have holes in her ears or earrings on!" Along with the piercing, we had to buy big silver hoop earrings, "because that's what everyone wears!" She can't wait till the 6 weeks are up so she can put them on. What the heck happened to my little girl? Who stole her?

What a selfless thing for her to do. Her donation is going to make some little girl very happy. DD doesn't want to cut her hair so I have talked to her about letting it grow past her waist IF she will get it cut when it is long enough to donate and still have her hair below her shoulders after it is cut.

I've never heard of "Locks for Love"...
... if my spouse ever cuts her hair length back I'll keep this in mind...​
