Winters end. I feel like slitting my wrists today!

Johnna sends congratulations to Angelina on her build a bear job. My wife loves that store. She is an avid supporter.

Angelina said to say, "Thanks!!!" She is really looking forward to starting her job tomorrow, as long as I can get her there.....................

I think I'm going to sign off for the night, I need to get a good night's sleep, so I can get up early and get all the sn*w, sleet and ice off the car before we head out to the mall.

Good Morning all!

It's a balmy 30* here. Chaparoning dd's field trip to Uof M Dearborn for maple sugaring. Thankfully it's only a couple of hours. It's not bad out there, but if the wind kicks up it will be. I've already run off the PTO minutes from yesterday and distributed them in the teachers' boxes. It seems I work harder on a day off than I do at work!

Well off to ketchup until 11:15, blast off time! I get to drive the teacher!

Speaking of tattoos had anyone met the Disney tatto guy??? I met him at a Disneyana convention several years ago. He has over 1900 tattoos of Disney only. Here is the link to his website.

As far as I know that is how someone got them to work. IDK when the deal will expire but it took me just a couple minutes to set up an account & order there entering the item numbers in the search box.

I saw that, but I just don't know what I would do with that much paper? And I don't have much storage space, so I don't know where I'd put it.

DD is going to be an illustrator when she grows up so she is practicing now. She goes thru an art tablet so quickly that this is a much cheaper way to provide her with paper. It will be stacked up out in the garage somewhere along with the box of paper I had delievered from Staples a while back for $20.

Sorry, Enna. I didn't get to your post until after everything was finished. It was really good. Very easy too! Just heat up a can of diced Italian seasoned tomatoes, pour in a little dry white wine & simmer, add shrimp & scallops and serve over linguini.

Is it Lego Robotics using the Mindstorm kits? One of the local colleges is doing a summer class for kids ages 9-12 this summer, and that's what the brocure said.

There's only one problem that I have with taking his 3 kids along with my own 2. The age differences are such that when I'm in public I find myself stopping random people to say, "Don't worry they aren't all mine" because I fear that someone will come at me with one of those pretty white jackets that button up the back and send me to sit in that nice soft room

I just realized how much I sound like my grandma used to...talking about colons and stuff....she had scoliosis and every now and then would ask someone if they wanted to see her "hump"....
Dear Lord, please don't let me try to show someone my hump........

Oh, then we will be doing pretty much the same thing! My neice called earlier today, and I invited her and my nephew to come and stay the night tomorrow. They are very close in age to my kids, so we love having them. I feel like a second mom to them.

My 2 are the blondies....my sisters kid's are all brunette...

What a cute bunch! I see that they are all brainwashed already.

Crash may not be with his children. Not sure.

We bring DS because my DW has a really good friend who moved out to Pahrump about 10 years ago. She is a mom to DW and a Grandma to our DS since my mom passed away. Plus, we don't gamble much, if at all. We usually take a few side trips to the parks or the lake/river. Just a nice warm get away for us.

We tend to always have the kids with us and no relief. So everything has to be kid friendly.

No, that's what is so funny about it! I was taking pictures that night in the atrium (group shot night] of Todd and his family. This woman and her adult daughter insisted that Todd let them take their picture with him! I am sure that they thought that Todd was the ship's Captain Jack Sparrow.

I can't remember if they had a camera or not. She may have thought that I was a ship's photographer!

I wonder how long she looked for her picture at Shutter's? She could have been the one who complained to management...ya think?

The Dr. and his group I went to use different meds now and I am still trying to approach the subject with DH. He was so upset seeing me so sick he stated he would not do it. The people I speak to about it now don't have the distress I had. So maybe they do different meds for different people?

It is too important in the long run than the alternative. MIL didn't go to the doctor for anything. They were an hour from anywhere. It was too late when she had serious problems and they did one on her. Stage 4 colon cancer. She had the first tumor removed 9/10/01. Since then she hasn't been off chemo very much, has had 2 rounds of radiation, has had 3 other tumors removed, steriotactic radiation treatment at Wake Forest, doesn't have control of her system the majority of the time, has a tube implanted to drain her kidney because a tumor has shut it off and it is not getting blood flow and is down to 40% function that will never improve (the other kidney is at 60% so it is not possible for her to have the dying kidney removed), she is always tired and cranky from the chemo drugs, and she can't taste food anymore...all metalic. Oh, and she is on her 4th tube since September 06 because it keeps getting blocked and can't be flushed out...which makes her very ill.

Given all of that, I would rather be a little uncomfortable for a few hours.

So when does Friday nite chart start? I'm sitting here semi-immobilized with a sleeping 3 year old who still has a fever. I've been off the DIS all day til now and I'm flipping between catching up and glancing at the latest postings.
