Thanks Roger!!! Our doc called in two presciptions for Hazel, I have to go pick them up at CVS when they are ready. The doc said other than the IBS, she is in great shape, Hazel had a CBC done yesterday, and all the test results came back just fine!!! :goodvibes

Hazel is in bed resting.

Roger

Is there anything on the OTC market that helps stop or reduce vomiting? DS now has what I had and what I don't particularly like going through, I really don't want to see DS continue to suffer with.

TIA for anything!

The best thing that I recommend form personal experience especially considering children would be Ginger Ale. I have lots of stuff at work but all prescription (Zofran, Compazine, Anzemet, Phenergan) but over the counter meds just do not cut it. Unfortunately he has already started vomiting. Ginger Ale works for nausea but hard to stop vomiting. It would be an option once he starts taking liquids. Just make sure that he does not get dehydrated.

Okay - I was reading back posts and just came across this one and laughed out loud when I saw it!

So since the name Blabbermouth's is already taken.....how about the Talkin' Magpies or Chatterboxes or Babblers!! I think we hit the 43,000 mark a little ahead of schedule :lmao: :lmao:

Thanks - pretty much what we've been doing.

Thanks, MR! I love those sandals -- Danskos Lolita -- they look good but are comfortable enough for serious walking. I have them in white, too.

Okay then so they are not the same shoes......mine, I'm sure, are Payless :lmao: (but I have them in white too!)

I am not sure what this says about me but I am trying to decide which to watch.
The Outsiders about the adult film stars or the PBS special on John Denver (my all time favorite).
OK, decided to TIVO JD as I would want to watch it again and watch the porn stars.

Oh Hazel feel better soon....hope the medicine works for you...and fast!

Hi - Ya - Max is a cute guy and he's really smart - training him is going to be both fun and necessary. Did I mention that he's my 8th German Shepherd? I love the breed. Mixed in with them have been a number of Wonderful mutts.
The fog is rolling in here in Redondo Beach, cooling down quickly. There's been a bit of a heat wave here the past few days. I'm glad now I made Tortilla Soup for dinner.
Today was my post-op appt for the bone graft and I guess the 3rd time's the charm - to quote "it was very, very successful" - I gues that's why the guy from UCLA gets the big bucks (out of my pocket!!) However, I am so, so relieved - I'll get implants and have teeth again - otherwise I'd be going on the cruise like Granny Clampett!!
Have to run DGS Matt over to YMCA Junior Lakers basketball practce.
til tomorrow -
Oh, I'll check later to see how Hazel is - thoughts and prayers to her.

Chris

Wow Chris...so glad the bone graft was successful! And so glad you'll have teeth again especially because Granny Clampett was just on the Magic this past summer....and she had a verandah too! Here is proof:

These people came prepared for the wind

7 QUESTIONS GAME....

What was / will be / for LUNCH today?

Believe it or not - a FLUFFernutter and a Diet Dr. Pepper. :D

What would you like for LUNCH tomorrow?

Like? Big Brew Burger and a Sweet Magnolia Brown from Big River Grille. What will I most likely have - either a taco salad, roast beef sandwich, or hamburger helper.

What is the BIGGEST chore on your "to do" list currently pending?

Cleaning out my inbox. Going through my clothes and getting rid of the ones that are too big or just ugly.

If you could drop what you're currently doing tomorrow and take a day off for doing something else... totally free to do what-ever your heart desires.... what would you do for fun?

Charter a plane and go to a nice quiet WARM tropical beach for the day.

If you could have Palo's make you something off the menu... anything at all... what would it be?

Um... the pizza was pretty good. Only had brunch there, but I'd probably go with the chocolate souffle since I haven't seen it yet.

What ONE Disney character would you like to spend a day with (or be) in a REAL story sestting ... IE ... you could accompany or be Winnie the Pooh in a real 100 Acre Wood for a day... so what one character would you want to be for a day... and what setting for that characters' storyline?

Wow, that's a tough one. I really have no idea right now.

For your cabin on this sailing... which of these "modifications" would you choose if you HAD to pick one? a) A 70" LCD 1080p HD TV with HD DVD + HD DVD selections. b) a triple sized bathtub with steam, jacuzzi jets, tanning lights and aroma theraphy devices. c) a giant MIRROR on the ceiling and the motorized rotating round bed with vibration baby! Oh yeah... also included are the fog generator, mystery ball with multicolored lights and mood music sound system... and a unified remote control for the whole array! d) A narrow private veranda that runs around the entire permimeter of the ship. All the other cabins on your level have one way mirrored glass... so you can't peer in though.[/QUOTE]

B - nice hot bath..... sweeeeet. Course I probably would've answered differently if I hadn't started walking at noontime.

wow the evening crew sure picked up the pace

gotta go back and see what's been going on since I left work

Well everyone I'm checking out - this thing has me pretty well wiped out. And I really need to get back to work tomorrow. So I'll see ya all on the flip side tomorrow night.

Lorri I told we it was like the Black Plague.....so sorry and hope your DS is better soon!!

You know what's the worst:

DOUBLE BUCKET VIRUS!!! Ewwwww

Evening everyone. I'm back from DS basketball game (well I guess we'll call it a game, but at 7 y.o., they are still working on the techniques). They got killed 18-4. He did score one of the 2 baskets for his team. Then stopped at the store and now back to do work and DIS.

BTW, what's with the 10 pages in 2.5 hours? I was getting use to the 1-2 page per hour rate.

I'll be back (and posting while I read). Sorry in advance for commenting on 2 hour topics.
