8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 10

Well its back to reality. Just got off the Wonder. Off the ship at 7:30 and home by 9:30. Had a great 3 day cruise with just DH and I. Weather was great. It was so nice to be able to enjoy the quiet cove pool and Serenity Bay for the first time in 6 cruises. Also going out to the adult activities at night and hearing pagers going off and knowing they werent ours was really cool too. Had such a good time that we booked another 3 day for 2008 for DH and I.

I wont even bother trying to catch up on what I missed the last 3 days!!!!

Welcome back, Ginny! One day I will get to experience that on a cruise. LOL! My luck, I would still get up & go to the club to pick up DD if I heard that many beepers going of.

Almost forgot to mention - They were filming for Americas Funniest Home videos on board this cruise - it should air the week of May 18th. The host of the show Tom Bergeron seemed really nice and was very accomodating to people wanting pictures with him.

Very cool! It is always nice to hear that one of the stars is actually decent IRL. Will have to look for that show. The kids love it & will enjoy seeing it on the ship.

Ahhhh....the punishment of kids. I'm surprised their party went that late if they have a 1 y.o. DW and I turned in around 10:30 when DS was that young.

It must be their first kid. They haven't learned their lesson yet.

These "kids" are party animals next door. They are in their very "early" 20's, like 21 or 22.

Yeah, I guess DW and I were old when DS was born, 35 and 32 (shhh, she's the older one and was almost 36). Now he just turned 7, so back to the Math problems from last week, you can figure out how old my old lady is.

I wish I could sleep that late. Our bedroom faces east and we don't have blackout shades on the windows. The sun was bright here today. Still, I woke up naturally and that is always a plus. Also, with the sun shining so bright and setting an hour later tonight, it will make for a great day. We actually may hit 50* as well.

12:45pm here and we just hit 52*, went up to 62* yesterday!!!

Too bad we lose 3 on the repo going back to FL.

The only good news about this is that we lose them in the first 6-7 days. Panama is on Eastern time so we won't have any the last half of the trip.

Good morning everyone! I am trying to keep my eyes open here while DS plays video games with our friend's DS. It was 2:30 post change when I finally stopped chatting with our friends & went to bed. OY! We are just going to take it easy today because tomorrow and Tuesday are going to be really early days. We are going to meet up with B I L and SIL to take the 7:15 train into Union Station, then take the metro to Arlington. We will then metro back up to the mall & the guys & kids will go to the air & space museum while SIL & I go to the National Gallery. All of us should be able to go to the American Indian museum before metroing back to catch the train here. Our "neice" has a band concert at 7 so we want to meet them at the H.S. in time for that. We will have to drive into DC Tuesday and be there by 9:30 to meet at Arlington...so that means leaving here by 7:15 am. OY BOY! We will be driving home after the ceremony so should get home sometime Tuesday night...but will be in no mood to do anything after two ... well three shorted nights of sleep.

We only have the one and we were never that stupid. You learn in those first couple of weeks you life, and sleeping, are changed forever.

Luckily we got DS to sleep about 6-7 hours straight through the night by week 6.

I love it! I bought one similar to that, only made of silver & copper, in Mexico on the last MR cruises. At the time, I thought it was pretty cute how the shops down there "adjusted" their wares to include Disney items.

We were suppose to hit Disneyland today but our annual passes did not arrive in time so I guess it is off to the pool today.

About the same weather for us, too. I hope it stays this way until our trip to Disneyland next week!
