Uh Oh....Sorry Laura I thought it was already broken.....DON'T CHUCK IT MARK.....IT WILL MAKE YOU FEEL WORSE. :thumbsup2

Until recently I had a WalPod (a Walmart Ipod) It cost 60 bucks, I thinks it's as good as my Ipod AND it has a radio in it too!
I
This zune thing all started when DD left my Ipod Nano on the plane. So I got Mark's and he bought the Zune. suppose to be better then Ipod Video? Then a miracle happened an my ipod that was left on the plane was found and returned by a mechanic and so DD now has that one. (she is paying for it though)

We went parasailing once at Daytona. I really liked it. I would love to PS at CC, but I have a hard time spending so much$$ for 10-12 minutes in the air.

You should go once FGM, it isfun.
I probably will some day. I use to be fearless, until I had kids, now I worry about leaving them with out a mom. So I am afraid to do stuff like that.

It isn't really difficult to sleep (blackout blinds help), the problem is during the summer, we'll just be sitting around watching TV or something and realize that it is midnight...and we have to be up in 6 hours for work.

And it is a bit tougher to get out of bed in the winter.

I don't have as big a problem with it as DH. I have windows in my office. His is in a big ol' warehouse, so he can go all day in the winter without seeing the sun.

I don't think I could handle not seeing the sun during the short daylight months either. As it is I suspect I may suffer from a little S.A.D.

OK, I'm voting for Derek in the Grease show, just to keep him on TV for another week or two.

My DH has always wanted to parasail (me, I like both feet on the ground at all times) Anyway, on our August cruise I booked him for parasailing while I has a cabana massage at Serenity Bay. Well windy weather cancelled the parasailing.......The massage however was DEVINE! Anyway, I hope to try to surprise him again with a Zipline excursion on our TOAL.

Anyone considering the Zipline? (not me, not me)

I think that would be awesome---but I don't think my arms would
hold out. I think you go pretty far. I know you probably get to rest
a bit while you are changing lines and such.

It's been a nice weekend but it is off to the salt mines again tomorrow.

Goodnight! :surfweb:

ps while I'm happy AR turned out like it did I think I would have rather had both of the last teams out!
:happytv:

I think second from the last will be gone soon enough.

I guess I have a different outlook since the women in my family don't tend to get very old. With my luck, I would be totally careful, skip the fun stuff, and something totally unpredictable and unpreventable will get me.

I have had some great adventures, done some silly stuff & it makes me the person I am. I don't take stupid chances, I'm not reckless, but I also don't want to regret not doing something when the opportunity arises.

Firstly, I thought Zune was on the computer, so it's actually a machine. I am so bad with these things.....Our stinky teens get everything and we get the leftovers ugh! And I can't believe that a mechanic turned in you Ipod Nano, that IS a miracle. But I had to chuckle that your DD left YOUR Ipod on the plane. If I had a nickel for everything of mine my kids took and left somewhere I'd be a rich woman!!! But not only do they leave my and DH's stuff everywhere, they leave their own stuff everywhere too. Last week my DD, 17 mind you, left her coat at a dodgeball game. Left her Coat in the Middle of a New Jersey winter. How do you even do that. When you leave the dodgeball game and go out to your car, doesn't it dawn of you that you are COLD. Told her she had to replace her own American Eagle coat!! STINKY TEENS....you gotta love 'em

That is great that you got it returned.:cheer2:
I got a wallet back a year later I lost at Planet Hollywood. Everything was in there except the cash of course. That is how I learned to travel with 2 ID's. This was pre 9/11 and I got to board the plane with a police report. I don't know what they would do nowadays.

You are a great Mom. I have never really given a thought about that, I always figured when it was my time..it was.:rolleyes1

Chya. :thumbsup2

See my post above.

I admire your guts Paula and M for even considering it! :thumbsup2

You know Laura, now you got me thinking about it......Why the heck are Ipods SO expensive anyway???? Is the Zunes expensive too?

STINKY TEENS....you gotta love 'em

I was right there with you MR!

We always get DS's too.

And yes, we have to love 'em.

hi! p.bader..i hope iam not being too presumptuous, but i think our
boys are going to be friends..just based on your signature pic. alone!

are you near paris ky.? that's one of the most beautiful place in the
country.

obwv:
i was hoping you like that pic...while my wife was  for not
looking her best, i like the way they made me feel. ...& while the
"shaving" suggestion may seem odd..i'm saying..it is just too cute &
tasteful! you should see the one i took of jordan when she was 6,
just before bed...i knew if i kept stalling she would go into a
tinker bell 's classic pose...let's say she didn't disappoint! however,
i know how you are...non assuming..for i "see" how beautiful your
daughter is and how handsome your son. :thumbsup2 . i bet your
husband bragging on you all the time, as he should be...

just a lil' observation...one dosen't have to be happy 24hrs x7days
a week to have happy lives. sometimes that confuse a person from
appricating how wonderful their life is. that what i thought everyone's
stories proven by the happiness they are willing to share...

i don't believe you V. man!..your wife is the prefect pic. of an  !
( knocking over trays...now that something me and you be doing, pirate: )

:rotfl: :rotfl:

I haven't watched any of that show.....am I missing something?

He's just a cutey. Could probably play Prince Eric! I guess I have a type.

The website has photos in some wierd format that I can't post here, or else I would share.

DD is so much like that. She loses stuff or breaks stuff all the time. She has had her phone replaced at least 4 times. Ummm. Of course it wasn't her fault. :rolleyes1 I find things of hers in the strangest places.

Hey Pirates

Lil" Grumpy it's funny that you wife doesn't think she looks her best...I think she looks beautiful.....it just proves that we all hate ourselves in pictures. We sent out a Christmas Card this year we got on the Magic of the four of us. After I mailed them out we were talking about it over dinner and it started to come out of each and every one of us HATED the way we looked in the pic. We each thought everyone else looked great, but hated ourselves! Just human nature I guess. Thank you for your kind comments about my kids.....And although they are your "typical" teenagers, DH & I feel very lucky that they are good kids.....you can't ask for more than that and that's the TRUTH!!!
