i was hoping you like that pic...while my wife was for not
looking her best, i like the way they made me feel. ...& while the
"shaving" suggestion may seem odd..i'm saying..it is just too cute &
tasteful! you should see the one i took of jordan when she was 6,
just before bed...i knew if i kept stalling she would go into a
tinker bell 's classic pose...let's say she didn't disappoint! however,
i know how you are...non assuming..for i "see" how beautiful your
daughter is and how handsome your son. . i bet your
husband bragging on you all the time, as he should be...

just a lil' observation...one dosen't have to be happy 24hrs x7days
a week to have happy lives. sometimes that confuse a person from
appricating how wonderful their life is. that what i thought everyone's
stories proven by the happiness they are willing to share...i don't believe you V. man!..your wife is the prefect pic. of an !

I totally agree!!!! Some time I think people forget that. And they only focus on the times they aren't happy as making their lives miserable. It is an easy trap to fall into and then when you get there it is too hard to climb out of that hole.
It is better to focus on all the good things that we have received.

I think it is hopeless to ketchup. I was 500 posts back and the board shut down last night. Today I went into Chicago for the Housewares Show. Now I am 1500 behind.

I have never been to Paris. I had to pull up a map and it looks to be on the other side and East of Lexington. So I am guessing about a 2 hour drive give or take. Is it in the mountains?

I am hoping that Adam makes a lot of friends on the ship. How old are your sons? Adam is 18 now, so he will be 19 when we sail.

So DW made meatloaf tonight. It was great but I did comment that I would have liked to have a litte more of the sauce. Then she hit me with it (no not literally, but close )...the "sauce" was plain ketchup! I thought it was the red meatloaf sauce but she says that "red sauce" is just ketchup!

Not that this is going to settle any sort of argument or anything, I just want to make sure I didn't "invent" red meatloaf sauce in my overactive imagination! So, I want to know what y'all prefer on your meatloaf...plain ketchup, "red sauce" (which I found out varies from ketchup with Worcheteshire and/or soy) or brown gravy?

Brown gravy for me, Ketchup for Mark. Which is why I never make Meatloaf.

Okay, I really have to go to bed now. It is 12 and I have to get up to take DD to school at 6 and I actually have a new window treatment job to do tomorrow. Start of a entire master bedroom makeover. Yippee more $$ for TOAL.

Mark is going out of the country this week. Will be busy around here without him.

That is a great card. MR. I am the same way when it comes to pictures. I guess we just expect them to really play up our "good parts". I should get some of those made. In our 22 years together we have never sent out a pic at Christmas. I do like to get them though.

depends what I have in the pantry, but never just plain ketchup...it's always ketchup with stuff in it

I use tomato sauce on mine.

I hated meatloaf as a kid. Turns out that I've always loved meatloaf, I just hated my Mom's meatloaf! My mom was an excellent cook, but she made lousy meatloaf!

Paula since the kids were young we've sent our their pics at Christmas, this was the first time (and last time) I sent out a family pic. I thought you know it's a good pic of John and the kids so I have it made up. Then John said (later on) well I'm glad it's a good pic of you and the kids but I got a smirk on my face. Then my DD chimes in with well you pick a picture on me with such a Shiny face and DS said he looks like he's got a hump on his back. Me, I just look at pics of myself and think, hey, why is my MOTHER in that pic!
