8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC #9

OK ... here are a few images from yesterdays' birthday party at one of the local Boston Zoos (there are several here). We had 80+ people in attendance for this 3 way Birthday Party ... and it was quite a crowd - but wonderfully pleasant too! I took 481 photos with many wonderfully charming images - but I don't have permission to post clear images of these children to the web - so I limited the shots to here to just a few basic ones with very few (if any) childrens faces exposed. However, this conveys a bit of what the day was like:

On the left image - the little girl with the glasses is my birthday niece! On the right is my 7 month old nephew!

Great pictures! Is one of the girls names Alana? That's my DD14's name!

That would be me jumping with joy. My DH decided to take the risk and on Friday booked the rooms for us. A big deal since in soon to be 20 years of marriage this is the first trip he has booked. I am the offical family travel agent.

The entire family is so excited and I have shifted into panic mode. - not really - but I usually start months out and I feel really behind. I am trying to read everything you guys have put out there. Which is an amazing and almost overwhelming amount. - what a great group.

We linked our dining this morning. If there are any other deadlines please PM me so I don't miss them.

Just one more happy dance before I post!

Welcome - we just joined 7 weeks ago..and I do feel that I'm in panic mode. This is my first cruise..luckily for me the friend I'm traveling with has cruised dozens of times.
What dinner did you link to? I think the deadline for wristbands is today.

Except the flu vaccine in US didn't work for the strains we did get. The vaccines for strains last season even are not out... Flu happens and the vaccine isn't perfect. I've never bothered.

Oh believe me I got the bright light out and interragated her on this one. The main thing was that I would be able to qualify for the flu shot that will be coming out this year. She said that this is the last month to take last years shot, so what the heck. With our luck if we didn't get them we would catch something.
Just bring some mosquito repellant(which I think they recommend for zip lining anyways), and don't be to adventurous eating on shore and you should be just fine.

Any Pirates heading to WDW in the middle of July
Just wondering if anyone would be at WDW from July 15-29. We had this trip planned before we were able to grab a cabin on the Magic for the EB cruise. So in one year we will do WDW, DL, and the TOAL...and be paying for them for awhile. If anyone was going to be in the area and is interested, we could get together for a mini meet. Just PM me and we can pick a time and place.(inside or outside the park - we are staying at SSR.)

OK - it looks like everyone is jumping over to Cartagena#5. If we want to just eliminate #4 and change it to #5, we can go along with this. DS & I are not thrilled with the idea of the inquisition museum, but worst case, we can walk around the Plaza de Bolivar or maybe visit the cathedral which looks like it is right there during that time. I'm sure there is plenty to see and DS will like having other kids on the tour with us.

Those of us with over-active imaginations (DS & me!) can have trouble with some of this stuff - we both had parts of the Pirate Soul museum in Key West we would have been happier not seeing (other parts were fine). I still have memories of how upset I was over the Dungeons at Warwick Castle in England when I was 12.

Woohoo! Welcome!!!

Okay, I'm back from the hectic portions of my life. DS's wedding was very nice and HOT!, as it was held outside. DB's wedding was also outside, but we all wore shorts as it was a barbeque style wedding. It wasn't all that hot out.
I know I missed alot. I was trying to ketchup some, but I'm still only on page 110. I may just skip a few pages. I hope to be on more later in the week.

Happy Father's Day to all the father's out there.
Happy Birthday to all pirates I've missed.

Well as long as the sun is out, then 74 should feel quite warm. The good news is that Mary Ann is inland a bit so she is usually warmer than I am here on the north shore. Hopefully the storms will hold off till the afternoon.

Edited to add: I just pulled up the forcast & they are saying showers in the am & then clearing so that should work out perfectly...if it's true!
