I so wish I could find some friends that would be willing to do somethng like this!!!!
DH has gone places with the *guys* but, I can't find anyone to do anything that is more then overnight!!!!

DH has told me that if I can't find a friend to go see Donny & Marie in LV with me that he will go (if he has to!). I know I'm a dork but, I would so :rotfl: love to see D & M!!!

OH Steph! We must talk! LOL
I have a group of wonderful Disney loving girlfriends from Canada, UK and all over the US. We have been to WDW every year for the last few years for a girls only trip (some are moms, some are not). Our next trip is planned for Oct and we are going to do the Twilight Tower of Terror 13K and Food & Wine Festival! It is an absolute blast!

WOO HOO!! The DD's are out shopping with a good friend of ours who has some fashion sense! We gave them each 125.00 to spend. The friend is great at finding bargains, so we'll see what they come back with!

Well..no Mikey Mouse Club T-**** for us! Went in and started to order..they were on sale for $10.95 before names on the back...between entering the shirts and finishing the sale..they went up to $19.95 :scared1: I called CS and was informed that they had been on sale but as of 7PM EST - they went to $19.95. The first day I looked - they were $17.95 before names so now they are even higher!

Oh well..maybe I will try the transfer thing...very frustrating!

We're going to print out own. Michael's has shirts on sale 2 for $5 right now. I already have transfer paper so I'm all set.

It's been a very crazy day here. I had the day off and was about to do the :laundy: when I noticed an ordor. Called the gas and electric company to check it out and we had a carbon dioxide problem. It appears that my house is to air tight when using the central air. They checked the furnace and the hot water heater they are working fine. They recommended an open window in the basement to solve the problem. What a scare.

UPDATED IMAGE FOR MICKEY MOUSE CLUB LOGO

OK - Found out that PhotoBucket "shrinks" the resolution when you post images there :( Since we need a high-resolution image so we can print it as large as needed, I have uploaded it to my business website. I KNOW its not going to get messed with there!

The link is: http://www.bwdarrah.com/dcl/images/mickeymouseclub.jpg

You can either click and view it and then right-click and pick "Save Picture As" OR just right-click the link above and select "Save Target As". These instructions are for Internet Explorer on a PC, but I assume other browsers and Macs are somewhat similar.

This version is 1992 x 1973 pixels.

I am sure we can get a few friends after this TOAL to plan a girls getaway sometime. I used to do this all the time with friends. Once a year the girls would go away for a weekend. After the kids came along it got put on the back burner for awhile but we are again starting to plan now that the kids can take care of themselves a little better and the hubbies don't have to deal with toddlers any longer

I would LOVE to see D&M too I remember watching their show every week

Pamela, quick question....do you click the Box in the lower Right corner before saving the image? And when I do try to "Save the Picture" it still goes straight to my Photobucket account. :confused3

1)What's the FIRST thing that comes to mind that you're looking forward to about our cruise?

2) What is your FAVORITE kind of DESSERT which you hope to get on the cruise?

Creme brulee. (My all-time favorites are maple creme brulee which they no longer serve at Le Cellier and key-lime creme brulee from Narcoosee's)

No more maple creme brulee?????? Hmmm I may have to cancel our upcoming reservation!!! I'm shocked.

I have a question about tiaras... Are most of you wearing real or play ones? I have three beautiful ones, but I'm afraid to travel with them because I don't want to lose them. Also, one is missing a stone. Any idea where you can buy those kinds of crystals? It is a colorful one.

I may just buy a good one that I don't have any sentimental attachment to for this kind of thing down the road!

Great, then I'm about 84 today.

Alaksa has a lot of beautiful sunny days in the winter - downside is sunny days = 0 degrees. It is actually warmer on overcast days!

South of the Arctic Circle the sun still comes up every day - about 5-6 hours on December 21. Everything is covered in white snow, so it always appears brighter than it is. I'll take that anyday over DC's 6 months of grey/brown.

I would take sunny and very cold any day over gray, gray and more gray. I just can't stand it anymore this year. I didn't realize that you still got some daylight. I could handle that. When we were in Alaska last summer on our cruise, we stopped in Skagway and went up into the Yukon. It was so beautiful. The glaciers were amazing and everything is so pretty. We had a warm, sunny, day and loved it!
So it is agreed, Grand Cayman in the winter and Alaska the rest of the year. I guess that means we will be homeschooling our kids? Sounds doable...:cool1:

You should be able to just right click the image once it comes up and say "save as" and choose a location on your hard drive. Works for me. :confused3

I would love to see them....such fond childhood memories :)

A better pic of the spider... We think he was a brown recluse but we were all chicken and wouldn't get any closer!

This one's for M&M's Mom... A UFO that we saw on the way home

Hello to everyone. I have been following this forum since it began and want to introduce ourselves.I'm Chris and my DW is Carol we booked this trip the day it opened and will also be sailing with DD Carol SL Bob and 3 GC Mike14 Matthew6 and Mikala4.The two youngest are extra-special to us and will share that story later. This is our 6th DCL cruise and can't wait. The information and chat here and at the pirate zone has been a great help for me planning this trip and want to say thanks to all who have put so much time and effort into making this happen.

Ah yes- the notorious flying arrow UFO. Appears as a giant black flying arrow typically pointing at a "weather balloon". After digging through hundreds of thousands of declassified documents made available through the freedom of information act, we now know that the giant black arrow is, in fact, a fusion powered hyperspace transport from Omicron Theta 5. Typically they do little more than scare local hunters and cause them to shoot other hunters in the face (note recent incident relating to our Vice President).

The white puff next to the transport ship is, in fact, a weather baloon.
