We did Sycamore cove again this past sunday. It was CROWDED ... but managable - just the same. It was a spontaneous thing - we sort of woke up - got a call and agreed to acompany the family that left early last week - back to the beach.

As it turns out - the reason they left early was thier son was falling ill ... again. He had been feverish a couple days earlier but seemed well enough to go to the beach. Last sunday when we were at the beach he went home early and fell back into a feverish state. He stayed home on Monday but was well again by tuesday.

So it was really nice - as expected. May I ask if you folks have Disney Annual passes? Roger and I have 'em - and if ya do then maybe we can do the park sometime this summer... or when-ever....?

We dont have passes at this time. We might be the only people on this trip without them! We have had them in the past, but have not renewed. As the kids get older, the harder it is for us to get out to Anaheim. We could still possibly arange a time to meet there, we would just buy tickets.
Glad to hear you had a good time at the beach this weekend. Next time we come out to the beach I will bring some homemade marshmellows. Made some this weekend and boy, are they good! Forget those peeps!

If only we could try them on underwater to see how they will actually look once they're submerged and wet.

My Dh wore one of his new pairs of swimtrunks yesterday... Small problem was that they have pockets which fill up while underwater. They do have drains but when he got out of the pool it looked like his pockets were peeing.

Just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone. TEMP HERE IS 98 HEAT INDEX 106!!!! Have been staying in, Not even going into the pool water is like bath water!

Tell me about...rushed home after work to go swim and the water was so warm it wasn't even refreshing...

The seven dwarfs go to the Vatican, and because they are the seven dwarfs, they are immediately ushered in to see the Pope. Grumpy leads the pack.

'Grumpy, my son,' says the Pope, 'What can I do for you?'

Grumpy asks, 'Excuse me your Excellency, but are there any dwarf nuns in Rome?'

The Pope wrinkles his brow at the odd question, thinks for a moment and answers, 'No, Grumpy, there are no dwarf nuns in Rome..'

In the background, a few of the dwarfs start giggling.

Grumpy turns around and glares, silencing them.

Grumpy turns back, 'Your Worship, are there any dwarf nuns in all of Europe?'

The Pope, puzzled now, again thinks for a moment and then answers, 'No, Grumpy, there are no dwarf nuns in Europe.'

This time, all of the other dwarfs burst into laughter.

Once again, Grumpy turns around and silences them with an angry glare.

Grumpy turns back and says, 'Mr. Pope! Are there ANY dwarf nuns anywhere in the world?'

The Pope, really confused by the questions says, 'I'm sorry, my son, there are no dwarf nuns anywhere in the world.'

The other dwarfs collapse into a heap, rolling and laughing, pounding the floor, tears rolling down their cheeks, as they begin chanting......

'Grumpy shagged a penguin!'

BTW ....silly silly pirates...there's no emblem on MM club shirts (at least the original ones)

I totally know what you mean. One minute I feel so blessed and the other minute I think, WHY???
I think there is nothing wrong with venting, wallowing---For me, personally, if its for a short time it always helps me to get over things, feel better, and move on. If I bottled it up, I would explode later. We all have some of those days...or weeks....or years.

Excerpts from a Cat's Diary...

Day 983 of my captivity.

My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects.

They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength.

The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet.

Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a "good little hunter" I am.

Jerks!

There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event.

However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of "allergies." I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow - but at the top of the stairs.

I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches.

The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded.

The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicate with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe.

For now...

A couple people who did BTB Wonder cruises with this being done on the first posted today that the pirate party was back to the old time for the second cruise. The CMs they talked to said that it was a one time only test. So who knows. With this group I don't think that DCL is going to have any say in it...after all We've got Jack...right?

Getting into a fight in the parking lot was the farthest thing from my mind, it wasn't even on the horizon.

I was in a great mood and then I rear-ended a car.

So there we are alongside the road and slowly the driver gets out of the car and you know how you just-get-sooo-stressed and life-stuff seems to get funny?

Well, I could not believe it, he was a Dwarf.

He storms over to my car, looks up at me and says, "I AM NOT HAPPY!"

So, I look down at him and said, "Well, which one are you then?"

And that's when the fight started.

Oops! Typo there That's what I get for trying to get it typed before putting DS to bed! Even so, 400KB is still nasty for anyone on dial-up. I've had DSL for years, but have occasionally been stuck with dial-up when traveling so I try to be conscious of it.

Janelle when we went to Alaska back in 2006 for 10 days, I rented one from Men's Warehouse here in T.O. since the cruise-line tux rental company did not have one that would fit me. I am going to try again for a ship board rental this time since I don't want to pack it but if they can't again then it is back to MW. I got a very nice one for a little over $100 for 10 days.

I just rented the Black and White Combo for $120. Comes with 1 Black Jacket,1 White Jacket,1 Pr. Black Slacks,2 Tux S****s,black Cumberbund and Tie,Cuff Links and Studs. He'll wear his own shoes.
