So what are you doing for transportation, Roger? Doing supershuttle, or taking a shuttle from the Doubletree?
I am planning to be there early as well and was wondering what others were doing.

I don't know to what extent this might help anyone - but we're reserved with Roadruner Shuttle service to transport 5 adults and 3 children in an 8 PAX Van from my home in Westlake to San Pedro for $152 inclusive of gratuities. as an alternative, the 8 of us can go in a stretch SUV Excursion limo for $252 + gratuity.

I've been hoping that TS would be one of the "new" things we got on the EB.
Maybe they figured out where to put the 'extra' sets. Maybe that's why it was taking so long to release the theme night info. I would assume the sets were built in LA, so they couldn't even try to get them onboard until after the Magic arrived.

Since all the GTYs are in steerage, maybe they're storing the props in the cabins ?

Ok and we'll be the suckers at MK on Labor Day. We only have 9-10 hours and no expectation of doing much, but it's only going to cost us parking since we have APs. The only things we really need to do is ride Splash Mountain and get a Dole Whip. SM is the kid's favorite ride, so we are excited about the prospect of bi-coastal Splash & Dole Whips this summer.

That's way cool. Think they got bi-costal splash & whip pins?

I've checked with two agents and neither can confirm that 1) When Mickey Dreams is off and 2) Toy Story is on. I'll keep checking though. Here is what they read me (which I heard a long time ago so it isn't updated):

Need your thoughts and prayers for my father today. He's got an appt with a surgeon to determine whether or not he needs surgery for a hernia. My concern is that my dad is 84 years old. I don't know how he'd pull through surgery. He was just put on blood pressure medication last month. He's fairly healthy other than memory loss, but he's getting pretty old now.

Again Monica you and your family will be in my prayers. I just keep you in my prayers as a permanent part of them.

I was able to get confirmation that When Mickey Dreams is out, but nothing about Toy Story. In fact, all of the CMs I have spoke to on this said they think that is highly unlikely (due to the sets and space limitations). I'll keep asking though.

Thanks for checking Tracy - I double checked to make sure I got the same answer twice because as everyone knows with Disney you don't know how many different answers you will get

I just called again and they said that it isn't currently on the WB and that the other agents must have just read off the list for both the Magic and Wonder. They haven't gotten notification of what will be replacing when Mickey Dreams yet

True Crime I don't read a lot of of those books, but I really like the well-researched ones. The books that are published years later - not weeks. Fatal Vision was excellent, but so was Fatal Justice - the alternative theories.

I grew up a few miles from the Sheppard house - the supposed inspiration for The Fugitive TV show backstory. I once has aspirations of writing the book that cracked that case. Too late now, but I have written several papers about it from media theory perspective. The story has everything - beautiful pregnant wife, brutal murder, handsom husband, cheating spouse(s?), mysterious stranger, wrongful imprisonment, jury tampering, media circus, F. Lee Bailey, Supreme Court appeals, Nazis, professional wrestling, exhumation . . .

Its a small world afterall..............I got a phone call from DSIL this evening from Delaware. In the school she teaches in another teacher was talking about a big cruise trip she was taking this summer. DSIL perks up and says, hey I think my SIL and BIL is going on that same cruise. DSIL got all the info from her and will send it to me. The funniest thing though, she has written down the piratezone website, the disboards web address and a number of other things including her ID. DSIL did not have the paper with her when she called so I am not sure who it is yet......... This person apparently is a lurker so if YOU is reading right now she should come out of hiding and say HI!

I said,"I'm on that cruise,too." Wow...maybe it is me... I do read more than I post (only been part of the pirates for 5 weeks) - it is the end of the school year and things are crazy Hopefully we can meet on the boards and on board.

How far is Salem, Mass from Tysons Corner nearby Vienna, VA? Also, Colonial Williamsburg from Tysons Corner? I am on my way to see if I can catch some info from AAA. Also seeing what else I may have to plan for.
