G'mornin' pirate:s

What have I accomplished...hmmm....let me think...
not much.

In the last few weeks - bought and hid 2 new Disney t-****s for each DS + pirate, so I know I'll get at least three days that they won't look like homeless grubs on TOAL. Ordered Disney polo shirts for the menfolk for dinner. Pretty sure I convinced DH to wear his uniform for formal night. Found a dress, but haven't bought it yet - now I'm debating color. No tiara, no gloves, no boy tuxes yet.

We have reserved:
plane tickets
2 LA rental cars (DH is flying seperate & I'm not going to pick him up at 11:30 p.m.)
HoJos
No dining - we're going CS for our one DL day
FL car

I realized last week that I have no idea how DH is going to get to the airport in DC! Oops. I guess he'll figure it out. He's going right from work, so the problem may be that he has no way to get to work that morning. Oh well, he's a big boy.

Made GIANT note to remember to pack WDW APs. I'm worried about that one. 8 hours at WDW 18 days later may not be at the top of my mind when I'm packing! I may stick them in my passport.

Need to make spreadsheep for dinner outfits etc. - you know so we don't clash, but aren't all matchy-matchy. Someone please tell DH that I'm not the only one who does this!

DH has all these great magnet ideas...and not ability to do computer graphics. :rolleyes1 Guess that will be me.

Sounds like a plan, Laurie . . . we love having passes so we can go to BG or WaterCountry . . .tomorrow would be good for WaterCountry . . .LOL. Can't image how cool it would be to have passes to DL or WDW . ..

Let us know if you come down our way again :)

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Theresa 8-)

We'll be at BG Friday 6/6 all day if anyone is up for a meet in the park.

Roger , there is no Pirate banner in the first post :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Excuse the FE pic..just click on the navigators.pdf file above the picture.

Also..the date on the first page says 2007..don't worry..it is correct...just a type on DCL part!

Thanks Desi.... Wouldn't be DCL without a error?

Pirate MJY reporting for duty, SIR!

Shouldn't you be in bed dreaming of a sermon for tomorrow? or are you still up waiting for inspiration to hit.

Presently 73 going up to 93 here in Sunny Central Florida.

Sounds like the weather report for here in MD.... It's not even 7 yet and it's pretty darn humid and muggy already...

I have a picnic and dog club meeting so have to miss the gym this morning...I think i may get out for a walk after i make this Eclair "CAKE" i'm taking with me.. If any is left i'll bring back a piece...

ATTN ALL SM PARTICIPANTS!!!!

Thanks all - and also, SPECIAL REQUEST for one person who will be willing to take me on as a SM, seems I have a nasty habit of finding out who I get. (I caught my SM on the WB) Anyway, if one volunteer can please pm PBader and let her know - she will keep that info from my prying eyes. :rotfl:

OK - now back to your regular programming!

Did you figure it out when I was your SM?:goodvibes

Morning Sk8 - up training?

Don't worry so much about the AP's. They would reprint them for you at guest services with id anyway....

(my sister left her PH's at home one trip and we just called her DH and he gave us the #'s off them and GS re-issued no problems...)

I color co-ordinate too... Although DH trys his best to thwort my plans...

ICK! I'm starting to look like a brown chia pet.

Oh, and Nate would make a great Tatoo! I'll get him working on "de plane de plane"

The kids really does have a flair. They had poetry night at school last week and he was one of the few who 'performed' his. I wish he would just embrace his talent. He loves to do that kind of thing, but he's embarassed. I guess at that age it is difficult to be interested in something that other kids think is unusual.

Tri is in one week. I'm tapering. 50% of nothin' is nothin' !! :cool2:

Seriously, we have hockey at 9. Stick & puck - like a public session with full gear, so I have 1.5 hours of hockey & I'm going for a swim this afternoon and biking home.

Sounds like he would benefit from one of those childrens theatre groups. There's a couple here in Fredneck...I'm sure you have some down there too.. Now would your DH let him do that though if he liked it as it might conflict with hockey? One of DD's friend is very active in theatre and performance.

Tri is in one week.

Sounds exhausting already.... i just remembered that's what part of your trip to southern VA was about. Yorktown something or other, right?

We stayed at the CG base in Yorktown was i was a squirt (DSD had 2 wks active there) They actually have a campground on base.

Oh BOY Mike!

What sort of camera did you get. I imagine I'm now revealing that I've gone and missed that portion of the last 3500+ postings where you must have mentione what new digicam you acquired. At any rate, you probably know what sort of photgraphy enthusiast I am - so please reacquaint me with what you got!

It's a Nikon D40 SLR. Light and easy to use. I'm enjoying it thus far, especially playing with the zoom function on the telephoto lens.

He spent 2 weeks at a theater day camp last year and loved it, but decided that he didn't want to do it again. :confused3

DH has spent a lot of time on that base. Forget camping! We're staying at Great Wolf. :) Here's my race. My goal is to not be last in my age group! In my defense...the 35-39 age group is usually the fastest. Late 30's, early 40's is peak time for endurance sports. Look at me...I'm peaking...and my goal is to not be dead last!

You're not alone!:thumbsup2

Well I know that! DH doesn't. ::yes::

Attention all pirates!
If you plan to have a fish extender, please PM me with your room number or GTY category
I will periodically post the list and will revise as cabin assignments come in

As a reminder: this is not a competition, and no one will judge the quality/quantity of your gifts, if you choose to give them out . . . it is about having fun and getting surprises in your fish extender. All you are promising when you sign up is that you will have something with pockets hanging on the metal fish outside your cabin door and would accept/appreciate goodies being left for you. I will also post on the pirate zone planning boards, but would prefer getting PMs here with the information.

A final list, organized by floor, will be available by a week or so before the cruise. Any last minute cabin reassignments/upgrades can be listed on my cabin door (6050) during the cruise.

Here's the list:

Happy June 1st everyone.

In my attempt to get back into a 34" waist tux (yeah dream on Andy), I got back on my mountain bike the past two days....now my knees are telling me to go slow - pass the Advil please.
Well the Wii Fit will be here in a couple of days, so I'll see how that goes - can you really loose weight playing a video game :happytv:

Now the serious question.......for the Cliff Divers, how far away from the divers are we going to be? I'm trying to work out what kind of lenses to bring on the TOAL and this is the current unknown bit I'm missing.

Andy

:scared1: There is a fire burning on a back lot at Universal Studios. Hope they get it out quickly and no one is hurt. The story is on CNN.

I have been sitting and making lists. So much to do  DH will be the hardest to outfit.

It is such a nice day. It is a shame to have to work:surfweb: Everyone have a great day:goodvibes

Tropical night question
OK, is this a dress up event like pirate night? If so, what are you ladies going to wear? DH will wear his tropical Mickey shirt - am I expected to turn up in a grass skirt?????

TIA for your input (valid or other wise!)

We could always turn it into a Buffett night - Fins Up.

Maybe we can encourage him to perform if there's a talent night on the cruise.

M, you can't use your WDW AP's at DL. You can only use days from WDW Magic Your Way tickets. If there are parkhoppers you get that at DL--if not only single park admissions.

ATTN ALL SM PARTICIPANTS!!!!

Sorry folks for being absent - I got sick and ended up having to go to the doctor's on Friday where he gave me some antibiotics. I hereby pledge to not make fun of Steve getting sick anymore on cruises. Here he is all better and I've been laid out flat on my back for the last two days.

Anyway, just wanted to post that I have sent e-mails to all those that have requested to be included in the SM since just before my trip started. Anyway, if you sent me a pm or e-mail and did not get something from me - let me know by sending me an e-mail to my e-mail address and or here. I need to clear up some space so if you get a note saying I'm full - be patient. I'm still a bit under the weather. Today was the first time I got up since going to the Doctors.

SO, with that being said, I am now in the processing of assigning SM for both the kids and adults so if you wavering on joining in - just go ahead and let me know. I hope to have both kids and adults assigned by the next 2 weeks hopefully sooner!

Aw Laura I'm sorry you don't feel good. Thanks for taking care of all the SM stuff! :goodvibes

I have a tropical print sun dress I plan on wearing. I hope to buy a Mexican shirt in Puerta Vallarta for Mexican night.

Good morning everyone. Had a great day yesterday hiking to a cave and finding a really scary spider sitting in his cone shaped web and then dinner with friends! No time to completely ketchup, but I did see the countdown calendar... It's really neat, but did anyone else see that it's not correct? Tomorrow is day 75 (I can finally book excursions!) In July, the 18 and 17 are in the wrong spot!
