Sorry I missed chat today, I was planning on joining but we had an unexpected call this morning to see if we would rehome a mini-dachshund. We have been waiting for ages for one to come up. She arrived early this afternoon so I spent "chat time" introducing her to the rest of the family.

Thats our new baby on my lap, our other two dogs have been excellent with her. We have renamed her "Alice".

Awwww. I had a coworker that had tons of Dachshunds and regularily fostered 'special needs' ones as well.

Hi Chris --

I love PAYPAL . . works wonderfully :)

Don't forget to add the PAYPAL charges so you get enough $$. We'll be more than happy to pay once you know the price. Thanks so much for doing this for us.

If you do it from instant transfers from bank accounts their is normally no fees

Hi Everybody. Just checking in with y'all, since I haven't ben able to keep up with the thread as much as I had been. I started my clinical rotations, so I'm now under one year until graduation!

I started my first rotation 2 weeks ago, at a Sav-on pharmacy located in an Acme. It's been going really well so far. I like the pharmacists and techs, and I've been doing a lot more of the things that I'll need to know how to do when I'm the pharmacist. I think it's going to be a great learning experience. Only 4 more weeks of this rotation, then I'm off until the week after the TOAL. I'll be able to get back into obsessive planning mode then!

I read a couple of threads with excursion reviews. We're a little concerned about the Acapulco one, but really want to see the divers, so I'm not sure what we'll do?:confused3 Has anybody posted any Navigators or menus yet?

We're heading out for the end of our Relay for Life. With everything that we had going on this spring, we weren't as involved as we usually are. But I want to at least pop in to see our team and some of the events they have planned for this afternnon.

I'll catch up with you all later. Have a great weekend!

Good morning!

Happy Saturday! I have checked all over but haven't found a Navigator posting yet...Hope everyone has a great weekend.

So I'm up at 3:00 am to make sure we have everything we need since we had to be at his school by 4:30 am:headache: His band had a music competition in the morning and he had to be fully dressed in tux pants, tux shirt, cumberbund before boarding the bus. So at 4:00 am he asks me where his cumberbund is:eek: Now I made sure the rest of his outfit was cleaned and pressed and assumed that the cumberbund was in his room after his last concert. Soooo, there we are at 4:00 am frantically pulling apart his incredibly messy room trying to find this stupid cumberbund. Found it eventually, but it was not a pleasant search:rolleyes1

I'm so glad that my DS is the only one that waits until it is time to leave to ask me where a *key* piece is!!!!

You got that right!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: BTW how many people did you have when we did the wine and cheese in your Roy suite??? Had to be way over 100 people!!!:worship: :worship:

There were a lot. I had to get special permission and then they had to post an officer outside our cabin during that time. :)

Add DH and I to the over 40 crowd! I'll be 47 next Wednesday and he's 48!

I am 42 and will be 43 on the cruise. DH is 53 and will be 54 on the cruise.
Mom turns the big 70 in 2 weeks and Dad is about to be 75.
We're an old bunch! :rotfl:

Add us to that crowd as well :goodvibes

Andy

Add me to the over 40 club.:cool1:

over 40 checking in...

Add us to the list as well!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Me too, checking in to the over 40 club:rotfl:

This is making me feel so much better. Maybe us *over 40* group just don't post our age very often and that's why I was feeling *old* ;)

Carapooh, Dh & I are about the same age as you and your dh. And dh is a year older then me, too. :goodvibes

I love when I ask my DD to find something and she opens the drawer 1/2 an inch and announces it's not there..

Hi everyone, forgiveme but I am trying to ketchup here............

I will turn 41 this year on 6/29, DH will turn 43 come October. We just celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary
:cool1:

Hey, my birthday is June 28. So I am only 15 years (plus 1 day) older than you. But I have never been one to worry about numbers. The girls dad is 18 years older than me and Brett is 13 years younger.

I don't think we are going to cancel the Acapulco tour. We will take our chances. It is only 2 of us. At least we have the morning so it shouldn't be as hot, especially if we do the divers first thing.

There are 5 of us but, we are still planning on taking our chances! LOL! I just think we will all want a chance to get off the boat for a few hours.

I'll be 45 this year & DH just turned 43 & we're going on 20 years of marital bliss! :lovestruc ;) :rolleyes1

We're going to stick with the cliff divers too. My kids are 14 & 11 so I think they can handle it & I took the tour with less shopping so it shouldn't be too bad. I'll just be really mad if I don't get a seat where we can get a cold drink & snack as promised in the excursion description. :furious:

I just noticed - we're listed twice!

.

Extra FE gifts for you! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Actually, I have fixed it now -- it would have worked out once you had a cabin number, but it's good not to make the list look any larger than it has to.

We are mid-late 40's in our adult group, with the exception of my mom of course. And we have our adult kids, early 20's as well as our younger kids.

Cute new furbaby!

Question about adult unisex tank top....is it the longer wider type of tank? I was thinking of ordering a XXL for a beach cover up, but don't it to look tight...I need "flowing"...LOL

Good luck with your final year...I can't imagine still being in school with kids. My sister has gone back to school for her RN and wraps up this December.

We also really wanted to see the Cliff Divers...but not sure we want to suffer through the whole excursion and pay $215 for the family to see a short show.

I've also tried to find the WB Navigators. I'm sure Tom or someone will post them to the Piratezone once they're out there. We're anxiously awaiting someone to post them.

I wish you could all be over to smell the CAKE I have baking right now . . . it's my youngest daughter Meredith's 11th birthday! Her friends are coming over at 1 for pizza (ordered in) and cake (chocolate cake with chocolate icing) and then are going downstairs to our nail place for manicure and pedicures . . .

It's the "birthday season" here -- my oldest daughter turns 16 on Tuesday. (So more cake -- hurray!) When she was younger my middle daughter (whose birthday is in October) would always get sad at this point, seeing both her sisters have parties and get presents. I think it's easier now that she is 13, but when she was younger it just killed her. She is a violinist, and when much younger her teacher was trying to get her to play something with more expression -- and it should be sad -- so she was asked to think about the saddest thing she could imagine and play thinking of that, and what she picked was the week both her sisters had birthdays!
