That link only go to the pirate zone login-in screen... But doesn't link to the right spot...

Where is this mythical list and what category is it under?

I found out that I had to re-register on that page. It only took a couple of minutes and I used the same name and password that I had before. Now it works for me.

Can you say SOL? I see a repeat of Sunday night in the near future....

I know, I know . . . and June 3rd is my oldest daughter's 16th birthday and that night I am taking her and 6 of her friends out for dinner and to see "Rent" on Broadway . . . after having been up from midnight to 2:30 or so looking at Mickey swimming . . .:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

5am Tuesday, I can think of better things to do, anyway there is nothing to book on that one, you basically go to CC and Nassau, and there you can book Atlantis.

So you want me to get Palo for you and give my credit card to settle your champaign bill???

You are so sweet!

I did want to see if I could get a cabana massage on one of the two CC days, since I was out of luck on this cruise . . .

Thank You

I thought the 5 day was June 2 ??? We better recheck this ...errrr

:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Well, it's midnight, June 3 EST, which is 9PM June 2 for you (you are on the same time as California, right????).

If I walk into our beer tasting and there's can's sitting on the table, I will walk back out

I'll be right behind you!!! The last beer tasting I did on the wonder was FAR from what was reported.

Note to self..... PIRATES should run their own beer tasting event with cold beverage on Deck 9 by the adult pool.

Don't you think there will be a high probability of this happening without planning anyway?? :rotfl:

Joel & Shella.....you two have a story to share on this thread:

Share it here too!

I saw that thread:lmao: ... We still had 10 minutes to spare ;) ...I posted our "story" on the "funniest story from a Disney Cruise" thread.

I think I forgot to mention that the next day when we were in St. Thomas, my dad and mom refused to leave sight of the Magic. They stayed around the shopping area where the Tender dropped them off while we took a taxi to a beach.

Sea Day Events – Date to be determined
Beer/Wine/Tequila/Martini Tastings (as a group) – e-mail to participate
(Task Force Leaders got2travel and MrsScooby)
Have you ever wanted to learn the difference between Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc? Have you wondered whether the rule really is white with fish, red with beef? Does the term “shaken not stirred” mean anything to you other than James Bond ? Are you just as confused as I am about ....Can vs. Bottle, Coors, Miller or Bud..... what does it all mean? “Lick, Slam, Suck” - no it's not x-rated but do you know what it means? Come join us for group tastings. We are working on arranging private tastings during our sea days. At this time we do not have specific details, but we are looking for a show of interest. We are requesting Wine, Beer, Tequila, Rum and Martini tastings. No, we will not be tasting all those at the same time. There will be separate sessions planned for each. And for those of you (like me ) who want to attend them all, they will be scheduled at different times. (And hopefully different days!) These will be exactly like the tastings that DCL regularly schedules, but will be limited to those folks in our group. Each tasting will cost $12-15 per person (subject to DCL's current rates).

Sounds like we may need to update this....:drinking1

I called DCL about the REAS (we had originlly tried to get this package but were told it was not available) I saw when you went into booking a cabin on this cruise that the option was there.

The rep looked it up..DCL is not offering it on 10+ night cruises so no REAS on ours - just thought I would check..the price is 359.00 on other cruises and the rainforest alone for length of cruise is 150 so it was worth checking on.

pirate:

Well, I would be thrilled if it was June 2 (9 PM June 1 for you), but it doesn't make any sense since that would make us online exactly 2 weeks, or 14 days, after doing this one and it's a 15 night cruise . . .:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

But if you get on June 1st, call me so I can get my things reserved too!!!!!!

On this cruise, ? How do you know, no changes on REAS Package on DCL site?

If you go in to actually book the reservation, it shows as on option now where it didn't before. My guess is that DCL knew that lots of people would book the package solely for the benefit of being able to book at 120 days so they didn't offer it prior to the 90 day mark.

And in the "Here's a Big Shock" Department:

Passengers call airline service dismal

And I'm not at all surprised about who's at the bottom of the list.

Itinerary/Changes

Who's doing what and where?

BRAG ALERT!

DS9 is FAST. Like scary fast.

His school has a running club that meets once a week in the spring & they have a track meet with 2 other schools. That was last night.

DS9 (3rd grade) ran the mile in 7:20. Only 3 5th & 6th graders beat him.

THEN after running the mile he ran 3rd leg of the 4x100 relay. He got the baton in 3rd place - handed it off in 1st by about 10 meters. Not sure how fast he ran in the relay but he's run 14 sec. 100 meters in practice.

THEN he ran the anchor leg of the 4x400 relay. He actually lapped the last place team along the last stretch.

DH has always been a runner (track and cross country in HS), he usually finished 2-3-4 in track races, won a few. And DS isn't too far off the times DH was running freshman year of HS.

The dude is FAST!

M, that's amazing ! So, I guess no one stands a chance in the bacon scrum?

I channeled my darker hair color and found it....

Hey Tom i see we'll be having brunch together....

So you're just going to be a voyuer and not list your activities???
:3dglasses

Just Kidding

To anyone wondering, obviously listing your activities is not mandatory. It just makes it fun to know that others from the group will be on the same excursion.

And to Mr Tom31b - give me a head's up next time you modify the list. I use my Word doc and just copy and paste. Almost missed your additions. Double check and make sure I didn't wipe out any of your family's stuff.

Had that problem, too. Course, I highlighted it, pasted it into word, then had to reformat everything cause I didn't like the way it looked.

I spent the last hour of work today doing the same thing. Sounds like a sickness.

Here, too.....dh was giving me "moral support" by watching the History Channel in the other room. I finally told him he could just go to bed if he wanted to. He did.
:lmao: :lmao: Something about survival mode-better to keep quiet than "help":confused3 ;)

Thanks to everyone for their kind welcome.
I'm new at this posting thing, but I will try, as my husband (Peter) and my brother (Jack/Fincantieri) have been after me do do so for months.
Hi to everyone.
Johnna

:yay: :yay:

I'm way behind and I have to go to a school meeting for chaperones for DS's field trip. Don't post too much;)

(This often throws people who just assume that since they look Mexican, they MUST speak Spanish - I had a friend that would get totally annoyed when people started "babbling" (her word) to her in Spanish which she barely spoke at all!)

Pamela

I have the opposite problem. I apparently 'look' Hispanic (even though I am not). I once had a lady come up to me in the LA airport and start asking me questions in Spanish. I had a gate agent in Miami speak to me in Spanish. I went into a grocery store with a fellow Scout leader in Woodstock and the lady behind the counter spoke to me in Spanish and him in perfect English! I don't speak a word of Spanish.

(To make things even funnier, SWMBO is 1/2 Puerto Rican, so my kids are 1/4 Hispanic and technically a minority, so we often will mark the 'Hispanic' checkbox just to mess up the surveys. I can't wait until my blue-eyed, blonde son applies for a minority scholarship in college).
