Here's a few pictures from our bedroom window this morning. Unfortunately, it just didn't quite catch how blue the sky really was this morning.

Tweety Bird? I think.

Wish they would have Disney characters or the castle balloon. It's pretty sad when you see such a gorgeous site and see the Warner Bros characters and think it'd be better if it was Disney!

What a BEAUTIFUL view ! so lucky to see that everyday.:)

Book the ONE item that you want the most, and that you can't book on your own. Also, "SUBMIT" it right away. Nothing is guaranteed for you until you hit SUBMIT.

Hard to tell about the spa. You are right, we have lots of days....so you should be able to get something. Otherwise, hit the spa when you first get on the ship. You can probably get it then, or at least get on a wait list.

That was one of the things I was going to ask. Thanks :)

So far I agree with everyone's response to the Ressie Poll.

I was both nervous and excited.

And once it's over, it REALLY DOES make it all seem so much more real!!!

:thumbsup2 In the end just glad to be on the ship.

I aim to please Stace and Chris! No reason I should be the only one buying a suitcase? BTW, they are running a special - spend $60 dollars gets a rolling Mickey SMALL duffle bag - carryon size for $20. I bought mine already to avoid the mad rush on the last night. Been there - done that! :lmao:

Is there anything else I can do to ruin.....I mean...help you all out?

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

BTW,didn't even post the funky postcard, but you can see the blue cap they are selling. The towel is rolled up but that one is nice. Prices range from about $26-$28 for the blue shirts to $48 for the purple jacket. I'm still dewbating that one - nice and soft and plushy! Plus they have non-zip up hoodies for men. Blue - typical like the round neck men's shirt for you non-purple type of guys! LOL

The towel is only $28.00 :rotfl: Should I continue?

Oh yeah - postcars they have 3 of them - the Panama postcard they had for the 2005, a funky bright yellow logo which is similar to the menu but with the Magic in it and a plain one with the Magic leaving a lock in 2005. Guess which one's I bought? The Magicv of course!

Thank you & Thank you :worship: I almost feel like I am on this cruise reading your blog. You have put me in full cruise mode.:goodvibes

Now I do have one question for ya...........How about those shutter packages?:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Nothing like helping one plan the budget, TIA

Unless it's like my DW's cousin who had one that went up and down her entire lower leg like a grotesque painting. I guess I just didn't see the "beauty" of it.

I don't so much have all that goin' on. Just a flag and a bit of nautical line.

Laugh it up people - but I was not as burned as lobster man....er....my dh. Laugh all you want but you will see. At least the cloud cover - had some drops helped keep it a bit cool. Can you imagine what it will be like in August?

OMG! Its 7 and you have all kept me from dressing. Its semi-formal tonight must be getting ready. Gave up seeing A twist on Cindy to be here.

Remember - laugh but I'm sure some of you will try it in August.

The only thing I'd do differently is get the towel WET! Sounds like a great idea to me.

That's exactly what I was thinkin' Stace!

Thanks for all the updates Laura! I hate shopping and I found a few things to buy.

Not great resolution, but at $20.....

Pink too!

QUICK LITTLE POLL......

Regarding tomorrow night's bookings....Are you:

1. Nervous

2. Excited

And why???

A little of both~!
Nervous because if we don't get in on the dolphin signature swim *(or any swim that is available) my eldest daughter is going to be heartbroken. And she already had to miss it on the first cruise! (*due to hurricanes, not anyone's fault except maybe God  )

Excited..... because it makes it seem more real, excited to see if we get to do everything we want to do or see what we WILL get to do, and because I know from what little experience we have that once you book time flies after that- and summertime always flies fast for us so the time between booking excursions and going on the cruise should fly by even faster this time!

And the score is:

Baby Mice - 0 -

Stenson Family - 3 -

Last night, Jordan and I caught a baby mouse in the house. Not Mickey.

This morning, Jared caught another one.

Just now, Jay caught a 3rd one.

Obviously, Mama Mouse gave birth somewhere in our house and either died or left the babies to fend for themselves.

 Well on the bright side...........at least your catching them. Wonder how many mama had?

That's what I was wondering:confused3 How many babies do mice have??

I'm so proud of Jordan. She was barefoot and lifting one end of the sofa when the thing ran across her toes. She didn't drop the sofa on me!!

We were anchored inside the harbor, Limon Bay. Around 6:45 a.m., we got our pilot. It took about an hour to reach the first set of locks. At this time, I made my way forward on deck 10 and it was a madhouse. Later I was told that some people had even slept up there last night. There were tons of white coats wandering around. People would not budge from their spots up front for anything, not even for others to get pictures. That's ok though, if you sleep up on deck, you should get some kind of bragging rights!

The Gatun Locks were the most popular with the cruisers. I was able to sweet talk a cast member standing up high to take some pictures for me, as there was no way I would be able to get up front. Then I left and headed down to deck 4. I liked that deck, it wasn't as crowded and the people were friendly. It took a little over an hour to get through all 3 locks. I went to the secret deck 7 to see them close behind us and that was just as fun as being up front in my opinion. The people were taking turns on the railing and letting everyone get a chance up front. Magical!

...

I was told this time the photographers are being boated across, not by helicopter so they won't be taking any pictures from the air like last time.

After we made it through the Gatun locks, almost everyone went inside for a brief time, as it was hot and humid.

....Pedro Miguel locks in the afternoon. Our final locks, the Miraflores locks, I went back to deck 4 and finally to deck 10 again. By the time we made it through, I was able to get to the front, yeah!!!! Got some nice pictures of the bridge and of Panama city up front. At the Miraflores locks, there was a tourist center and a bunch of people were there waving at us. It was ironic that we were taking pictures of them taking pictures of us! Mickey came out and waved and the captain sounded the horn several times. Everyone cheered.

By the time we went under the bridge, it was 4:45 p.m. I left then to pick up the kids and get ready for dinner. Our dinner was set for 6 p.m. instead of 5:30 so everyone could see the whole thing before we ate.

...

Supper ran a little late and I had laundry in. I left before dessert and went to the laundry room. That room was a mess! People were going crazy there too. Moving clothes around and stuff. My dad even had his bag of clothes thrown in the garbage. Luckily he found them but he thought someone had stolen his clothes at one point. I made it a point to sit with my clothes while they were drying so no one would throw them on the ground. One lady took up 4 washers and 2 dryers at the same time!!!!

...

Oh yeah! We got a lithograph from Ducky Williams tonight too! It had king Triton on it and the ship going through the locks. Very very nice. We also took one of our dinner menus and had our server, assistant server, head guy and the dining room manager sign it. It will be a wonderful souvenir. Up next: Day at sea, Twice Charmed, Prince and Princess menu, Ducky Williams presentation

just more highlights

Question- what night is the night we get lobster? Or does anyone know?
Yes, I'm trying to schedule our excursions to make sure we get lobster- so what? LOL

Jordan and I trapped it in a glass. We took pictures to show the menfolk. :rotfl:
Jared used a glass also, but Jay caught his with his bare hands. What a man! :lovestruc

I was afraid it was "a lot".......
