Oh man....we have taken our kids into the bar area when we wait for a table, too. I guess that's why we have earned our way to the shunned part of the ship!

But if all of the fun people are in the shunned section, why would we want to be in the unshunned section anyway?

What's wrong with good ol' astronaut diapers????

Better pack the brown pants too, just in case.:thumbsup2

46 year old Brit urinating off of his verandah.on panana webcam. ( 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 ... Last Page)

Great...hope they DON'T assign our cabin underneath Andrew!

Do the webcams ZOOM that much????

OUCH!

i have been lurking around for a while, but i figured today was a good day to take the plunge and join your thread!! my family of five will be on the cruise and with the upcoming excursion booking (and the pif :guilty: )this trip is actually feeling like a reality. :woohoo:

all of your info so far has been so helpful so i wanted to share too! when i was on the panama canal site today i found a cool kids link with info about the canal. i'm not sure if you guys have seen it but it is really interactive for the kids (who am i kidding. i had a good time looking at it and seeing how the canal worked!). my 3 kids are pretty young (8, 5 & 3) but i am still looking for little things to try and explain the canal to them. here's the link www.pancanal.com/eng/persona/k/index.html

i loook forward to the next few months of planning! pam

Welcome aboard, and thanks for the link. I'll be sure to show my kids!

Didn't DCL say no brunch on TPC day?

They sent me a very helpful e-mail that said no brunch on Canal Day. I also think somebody was feverishly doing something too.:confused3 Anyway, it's not showing up on the DCL website as available to book. I guess it might be worth keeping an eye out on the website to see if they open it up, or else ask once onboard. We plan on spending the day with the kids, so we won't be vying for a ressie that day anyway.

That happened to us at a Holiday Inn in NH. Odd thing is we were sitting at a booth, but because it was technically "in the lounge", the kids couldn't stay. We were there for a family wedding & a lot of MY family from out of town were there, but I had to leave because of the kids. Of course you think because it was MY family that DH would've gone back to the room with the kids & let me visit with MY family, but he came stumbling in about 1am. Do I sound bitter?

When dealing with each others families, Linda & I have an agreement. Whichever one of us is dealing with the inlaws gets to drink.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I can see the headline now.

AP WIRE
Young Mother Disappears From Cruise Ship

A young mother has been reported overboard from the Disney Magic in the Panama Canal on Monday, August 25th.
It was reported that the only witness was a short, chubby, crazy woman observed running from the scene, waving something over her head that appeared to be a very large pair of women's underwear and shouting "Take what you can!".
Foul play is suspected.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
You know, I can picture it now!

Didn't you hear they are playing while Mario Lopez dances??

I'm fine with that, as long as Julie Andrews saves the last dance for me.

Fish are friends not food!

(Born and raised in Mass. And seafood is YUCKY!)

:scared1:

No, really. Where are you from?

I have a login and I used that link...when i go to all products nuttin is there??

Chrissie

You'll still be able to place an actual order. :thumbsup2

Esteri was trying to get a commitment through the presale, so she'll know what pricing level we'll be at. The more items ordered, the lower the price per item.

I thought today was the last day...and Brendan was dragging his feet until I talked him into the T-*****!

Oh well!

Chrissie

Chrissie

Just pm esteri, she has site down to go with live order this week.

Reminder, if you didn't pre-order, you can still order when we go live!

Just to make sure I was clear, you WILL still be able to order the t-****'s when the actual ordering opens up.

Isn't Cat. 7 the Navigators Verandah? If so, they only sleep 3. :)

:lmao: :lmao:
Tells ya where I am on the economic scale. I've never looked at anything above 9 :lmao: I thought everything was 4+ except 12.

Give me 2 more cruises and I'll be in a 7. TOAL is our third cruise (Cat 9). Last was 10, before that 11.

Yes, best seafood I had was Anchorage, second best Seattle.

:thumbsup2
I agree, but I do love me a New England lobstah roll.

What many people do not realize is that the amount of sunscreen applied plays an enormous role. A study in The British Journal of Dermatology this year found that applying less than two ounces over the entire body at one time can leave people with an SPF rating far lower than what is on the bottle. Some studies have shown that people typically apply just 10 percent of the amount recommended.

Hmm, the Sephora catalog I just got says "a shot glass full of sunscreen". I like the visual.

Hmm... bizarre, but I've heard of that before. However, I brought my nieces and nephews to the first show at the Adventure's Club in April. They had a blast! Kungaloosh!

Kungaloosh!

But if all of the fun people are in the shunned section, why would we want to be in the unshunned section anyway?

I think that is the point, the perfect unshunned people will be bored to tears...:rotfl: :rotfl:

We may be shunned, but we can certainly entertain the unshunned.

I know I was still going to be able to order but I didn't know if the price would be different if you didn't pre-order? Or if our 2 would help with the numbers?

(And I think I just got to 1,500!!!!!!!!!!!    )

And see that's just nasty to me...cuz it's seafood and mayo!
Brendan eats enough seafood for the both of us...
(on cruise he is happy on lobster night..he gets mine!)

Chrissie

Aye! Born and raised on the coast of Maine, 10 minute walk to the beach and seafood is YUCKY!! I eat *some* but I'm very particular and picky!

Kungaloosh!

Yup! Told my 14yo niece when she turned 16, I'd take her back and let her stay longer. Even told her I'd give her a quarter to put in Zeus's piggy bank. ;)

I like those, but I also like the lobster rolls that are just warm lobster and butter on a roll. MMmmmm

If so many are saying "it's soooo eaarly" ..How many of you drink the mimosa's at Palo brunch?:lmao:

Chrissie

A few years ago we went on a cruise to Mexico with some friends...each day we went back an hour until finally we were 3 hours back...one morning as my DH and I went to meet our friends..I grabbed a Pina Colada from the pool bar and proceeded to join my friends. My one friend gave me a look and said "You do know it's only 9am?" I didn't realize the time but quickly came back with "well..at home..it's lunch time" We still laugh about it.. I figure..hey! the bar was open

remember..it's 5'oclock somewhere!

My thoughts exactly.

New England seafood is over rated!

Coffee.... ugh. I gave up caffeine yesterday and have had a major headache all day. Doing a cleansing fast this weekend and there'll be no pots of coffee to keep me up on Sunday night. :headache: :sad2:

Thank you. :thumbsup2

I don't think this group really cares. It's more fun to say 'possum. ;)

I sure wouldn't!

Shun the non-believer Shuuuuuuuuuunna!

ooooh that's a good way to remember it! Of course I tend to use the continuous spray & I usually do pretty good with that.

It's the opposite here. I eat enough seafood for Mike. He only eats very white & deep fried flakey fish.

I don't think those words ever slipped passed my mouth! :drinking1

One time I was sitting on the wall outside of test track waiting for the kids to get frozen cokes I think, but when they showed up, I said "okay let's hit the margarita bar in Mexico, it's gotta be 5 o'clock somewhere" & the family next to me cracked up laughing.
