It looks like Saturday Aug 23 is the top choice for the PJ breakfast. We'll decide on a time to meet there when it gets a little closer, and we've had a chance to look over the Navigators from the WB Repo. I'll keep a running list of interested pirates and wenches over on the thread on the planning board, and we'll make sure it gets posted in our Pirates Navigator, too. You can either reply to that thread to say you're interested, or you can PM me here on the Disboards and I'll list you on that thread. Obviously it's a no obligation kind of thing, just looking to see who's thinking about it.

Just me! People asked that we decide on a day before the Hassle-free ressie date, so we put up a poll on the planning board. sat the 23rd was the winner.

I think others are planning some Palo brunches and teas.

Thanks everyone, yes, Hazel and I are very proud. Even prouder that we were able to pull this prom thing off in one week, that's how much notice we got that Angelina decided she finally wanted to attend the prom. Her date, Adam, is the son of fellow DIS'ers that we met when we went to their house for the DCL House Party this past January 26th. Luckily, this family only lives about 5 minutes from us!!!

Wow, I barely know you guys, but have seen so much of her since we booked the cruise, I feel like I know ya'll. She looks FANTASTIC! You must be so proud! What an awesome young lady! Congrats!

In reading some of the onboard postings, many are complaining of being really sunburned and trying to stay in Diversions etc. One said her burn was blistering.

Don't people have sense to use sunscreen/shirts etc...?

LOL.....OK. Laura is at the front of the ship on deck 9 with a towel over her head. She is looking for the bridge and will let me know when she sees it. I told her to wave at us!! So everyone get ready to send them a big ole DIS board hello!

i have been lurking around for a while, but i figured today was a good day to take the plunge and join your thread!! my family of five will be on the cruise and with the upcoming excursion booking (and the pif )this trip is actually feeling like a reality.

all of your info so far has been so helpful so i wanted to share too! when i was on the panama canal site today i found a cool kids link with info about the canal. i'm not sure if you guys have seen it but it is really interactive for the kids (who am i kidding. i had a good time looking at it and seeing how the canal worked!). my 3 kids are pretty young (8, 5 & 3) but i am still looking for little things to try and explain the canal to them. here's the link www.pancanal.com/eng/persona/k/index.html

I did plant a bunch of seeds in my garden today but I will never tell what kind!!

So yesterday our Sunkist Lemonaid stand came with the noon time FedEX guy! I haven't shown the kids yet? It's one of the 20,000 they were giving away free. Did anyone else jump in and order one of these too when I posted the "alert" on the deal?

And today the 50 Philips Mini-DVD-R discs arrived! They set me back a whopping $28 for the 5 spindles of 10. What a bargain!

Now I'm just waiting for the charger and battery to come in from Hong Kong. I figure that won't be for another 2 - 3 weeks.

Did they tell you they were sending one??? My DD sent in for one and didn't get it yet!!! I am hoping!!

Young Mother Disappears From Cruise Ship

A young mother has been reported overboard from the Disney Magic in the Panama Canal on Monday, August 25th.
It was reported that the only witness was a short, chubby, crazy woman observed running from the scene, waving something over her head that appeared to be a very large pair of women's underwear and shouting "Take what you can!".
Foul play is suspected.

Hi again - I have a few minutes free before the big plant move starts. I just realized that my ealier post was in the midst of the Magic going through the canal! Wish I had time to watch that today Oh well, I'll go back and "watch" it through all your eyes when I ketchup tomorrow!

Just a repeat of my question in case it got lost among much more exciting posts!

Actual cruise related question: Does anyone know what time the "tall ship" excursion in Cabo will be? We are still deciding between that and just doing the beach with the DIS group - DS9 wants to know if we can do both? If the ship is in the afternoon, then it might be possible ...
