I'd do the cartegena with you but it's too expensive for all 5 of us to do it. But it would be nice if Jeff could go scuba diving ONCE on this cruise. poor guy. LOL but I can't help it everything is all in the middle of the day! Even the ports we're at till 11:30pm all the excursions are still smack in the middle of the day and the scuba diving is at the same time.

Hey I deleted pms and I'M STUPID so I deleted some of your pms. What time did you say you're doing palo? did you say you might come to dinner that day too or not? I can't remember. I'm getting old. LOL

I just wanted to note this again.....the last day or two while I was looking up times for everyone, I noticed that Disney had added back the excursions that had booked after the 105 day mark.
SOOOO...
If you didn't get something, wait until a day or so before the final bookings open. DCL will probably have released the rest of the ressies (unless they still hold some back for onboard bookings) to prepare for the 75 day people and you can book yours before they do.

And SOME people think I'm sneaky.... Gee Wizzz.....

Tisk - Tisk - Tisk....Now look-Eeee here (quoterd below) .... see who the real sneaky sorts are around here... see? These two appear to be conspiring to take advantage of all those poor 1st time cruisers on our voyage by dipping into those few excursion and spa slots held in reserve for them.

How did everyone do?

Crash hadn't even tried...

And wonderful Stace hung in there with us with encouraging words and Laura popped in to say hi from somewhere in the Pacific Ocean....

Others said that eventually they got most shore excursions and some Palo.


I had elation then immediate defeat.

Got in right away...all our names were there, we were marked PIF and we were linked together!!!!

Got Acapulco (or so I thought) then got bumped out...

Watched Mickey swim for over 40 minutes trying to get back in....

Then got back in to discover what I thought I booked wasn't there...

Then, got EVERYTHING I wanted except Palo Brunch. Of all the things I wanted though, that was probably the last on my list because we have done it several times already. I thought I missed out on tea, but refreshed and it was there so I got it right away. Had to cancel my spa treatment, but went ahead and got a different time for that.

We have never done High Tea before, so now we have something new to try.

Then, well of course, since I had some trauma, I went ahead and booked a pedicure for me too. That made it all better.

Now cannot access reservations ''someone else is logged into my reservation x 5/6

Log in finally get the shore trips I want and a Palo Dinner.

Still cannot access my online check in bar flights.

2 hours.... Taking day off.. Roll on Cat 3 2009

Hi Andrew, I just booked excursions first and tried for brunch. I had a two for bruch but got greedy and tried for 4 and ended up with no brunches. Oh well. I got Laura booked for some excursions to as we were linked together.

Maybe we will hit the jackpot and get a private palo room. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed.

They're keeping him overnight with IV antibiotics. He has the same MRSA staph infection that Jared and I both have had. They even did a CAT scan of Dad...I guess it's a lot more dangerous in older people and they said his diabetes can affect it too. I'm sure he'll be fine.

Sorry for the problems, I snagged a brunch, as I soon as I was able to, on my wedding anniversary, but then it crashed, I think a lot of people now will want to get to the port early.

I didnt get an afternoon te, but not to bothered on that as I was able to geteverything else.

Having a day off owrk for this.

I took a monster Ibuprofen and my head is still pounding. And I wasn't even the one booking!! I just felt so bad for all of you.
But it does seem like it went a little better than it did for the May group.

I like your thinking!!! I am getting way too old for all this stress in my life which should be a relaxing vacation!!! The more informed I am ......the scarier things get. Being dumb and oblivious could be a good thing in life.

At any rate - as some might guess - I'm gonna wing it as my family group has a lotta kids and we're doin' the simple things mostly. Going to a nice beach and laying out and just relaxing and "talking story". If we decide to get active we'll just settle for doing whatever we can that has space left - or we'll take excursions later in the day and push the chance we'll miss the boat < eeek > yeah... that's how it's gonna be on this voyage for us I guess....

We were wondering if you were trying to book for 30. Dis chat was open and we almost hit 40 at one time!!

OKAY I did "contact us" on their website about their daily trips- kinda expensive but hey, gotta get a scuba trip in there for him SOMEHOW. LOL I'm not sure it went thru though- after I hit submit a pop up box came up in uh... some foreign language. is that spanish? I dunno. LOL

Sounds like they're being cautious. The IV antibiotics work faster and better than oral too.
He'll probably rest better in the hospital too (too many things to do at home).
