I think they will stick to the older celebs otherwise it would be stampeede if they had someone like Miley Cyrus or something to do with High School Musical.

Joey Fatone was on the 1st Med Cruise with us (as a guest). My father had no clue who he was. He was even on an excursion with us. They did a dancing with the stars performance (with his partner Kim) and an autograph session. Too bad I missed the performance (think it was when we were in Rome) and i was sick for the autograph session (made dad stand in line) for me.

I got the popup 1x too and then it went away.

I would love JA as I've no idea who Joey Fatone is! JA is a world wide recognisable figure, but I guess Joey is more US famous As for Miley or anything HSM, both girls would flip, infact Hermione (DD2) is currently more of a fan than Lauren! For them I'll just hope for a HSM dance party or some such

Its DD birthday today so I am up early to make her favorite breakfast of waffles! Then its off to school for the start of another week (only 5 wks to go) of craziness, the kids know its the end of the year & its really difficult to keep them focused. So i know it won't be no time at all after next weekend... that we'll be on the cruise! I'm already feeling sad about it being over and we haven't even got on the ship yet! LOL

Was thinking the same thing. Time has just crept by, even though I've been super busy, and now that I'm in full plannin gmode, the time seems to be flying and it's going to be over before I know it.

We are doing mostly DCL excursions. DH is too nervous to venture out and worry about catching the boat.

My parents are the same way, so we're also mostly DCL excursions. Finally have them narrowed down though! If they had their way, they'd wait until they got on the ship and see what was available.

Who really doesn't matter to me very much, celebrities don't usually catch my eye. But, after meeting Lee Arenberg at the WDW event last May, I definitely wouldn't mind another appearance. He was seriously just the nicest guy!!! Probably wishful thinking, but that is one I would be interested in!

Now, time for another day of working to pay off the TOAL. (Side note, my lovely AmEx was nearly maxed out after I shifted the TOAL balance over. Nice people those AmEx people.... when they saw I wouldn't be charging much more with them, they increased my credit limit. )

OK...

... for what-ever reason I was unable to gt to sleep an hour ago - but now I feel like trying again.

Before I go I wanted to say I hope everyones' Mothers' Day weekend was wonderful!

Alicia had to work a Cancer 5K race sunday morning - so when we got to Disneyland later in the day she was so tired that we left her in the car to nap. I guess this was NOT expected - though wiser minds might have anticipated this. SO regretfully we left Mom to sleep a spell in the car... drat! So we hooked up with another family that was meeting us at the park and had a good day. Alicia joined us later and told me on the way home she was in good shape havinghad her nap in the car.

Saturday - I ripped a nice laceration in my foot at the hotel's poolside cabana. It seems the cabana frame work had a BASE PLATE in the shape of a triangle and a sharp corner was not bolted down properly.. so it riped my foot. I hobled down to the front desk to get it cleaned with a band aid of sorts. The hotel management responded with a full court reply - and I stressed to them I was OK, I didn't need an ambulance and that I was not "trying to squeeze them" for anything. Just they should probably have someone look at thier cabanas to ensure no kids get hurt like I did.

The hotel folks were probably concerned I'd sue them or something silly like that - and in the end they sent up a nice room service spread gratis.

Now at home the wound on my foot does not look so hot - but I trust it will be ok in a few days time. I might see my doc about checking when I last had a tetnus shot - or I just might have to go in for a booster. The sharp cabana frame plate looked nasty and dirty. Just my luck, eh?

On the PLUS side of things ... we just got our MONEY BACK from VISA for the ATA tickets to Hawaii. Remember, they ceased operations recently. That's $1500+ that shall now go to DCL shortly!

And ... and ... and .... I forgot what I was going to say... I think I might have just had a "senior moment"...

OK... I'l try to do some real catch up later maybe... i got a full plate today though, and may not try to catch up til tomorrow or so after all? I dunno... it's been one of those mornings here ... and it's gonna be one of those days later today, no doubt.

Ok, so I should be working, but its grey, dismal, rainy and windy, and to top it all off, its Monday! So I'm quickly getting my cruise fix, popped over to the WB thread and noticed some new posts.

Now at work, Photobucket is blocked by our filter system. Can't see a photobucket image at all. When I see a post with a PB image, all I see is:

So I checked out the WB thread new posts and its just a bunch of those image placeholders, but there may be some pics of WB cruise from on-board. Or they could be old cruise pics or they could be Pamela Anderson....

We are doing mostly DCL excursions. DH is too nervous to venture out and worry about catching the boat. It is a lot of hurry up and wait but in his mind its piece of mind! So we will be doing all DCL excursions with the exception of Cabo - we will do the beach on our own (I think). Happy Monday everyone! Very windy & chilly here!

We are in the same boat (or should I say ship ). DH doesn't want to do anything but DCL excursions either. He is afraid we will be left behind and the ship take off without us. I am booking (hopefully) the Best of Cartegena, but hoping to talk him into the tour this group is putting together. At least if we get left behind we will be in good company. Anybody know how to get to Aruba?

I was hit while riding a BICYCLE in a 190 mile fund raiser for multiple sclerosis. I was only at the 60th mile marker into the ride when in a descent, in the bicycle lane, with lots of riders moving about 40 MPH a young dummy with a girlfriend in the car decided to make a left turn into a drive way - he cut right INTO me throwing me into another car waiting to exit the driveway ( front row witness). This dummy had just been in another accident a month earlier and LOST insurance. I was taken away with broken hip and arm...
I would thus encourage everyone to have decent (if not strong) coverage against uninsured motorists. The most psychotic being my approach.

A remin der for people to have UNDERinsured motorist. In both wrecks I have been in multiple cars were involved and the person responsible did not have enough to cover totalling 6 cars. Both times my UNDERinsured motorist took over.

Happy Monday Everyone !!

we had a great Mother's day.

The Clash boys woke up before me & prepared breakfast in bed. A bowl of my favorite cereal w/milk.

We were at the ball field from 12:00 until 4:00. Back to back games.

After the games, we went & bought a hammock as a Mother's day gift for the family. I told the boys that I wasn't going to buy it if it was too much because I didn't have any extra cash right now. DS8 told me he wanted to chip in his allowance to help pay. At that point we were getting it no matter what it cost.

DS11 made us hotdog casserole for dinner, my favorite.

It's memories like this, that you have to hold on to when they're rolling around on the floor punching each other in the head.


M, how many more Mondays until TOAL ?

Hotdog casserole? What is that? (Guess my dd isn't old enough to know about this yet)
