I understand now. The Quest is that area on deck 2 right? Before I guess it was almost a field trip place before and now it looks like it will be their main "kids club"?
I am unhappy because as it was Megan and Miranda were mostly in the same area ans now they probably will not be.
Guess we gotta wait it out and see others feedback.

Just got an email reply from Rachel the CD and I regret that she will not be the CD for our crossing . She is currently over on the Wonder and she believes it will be Brent ...She has however emailed the Magic to make sure POTC COTBP is still onboard but did say it would be a fun activity , so I emailed her back and hopefully we will get some specific details yet to come ...

I've just sent a note to my TA to cancel my parent's cabin.


I know some of you were reading that with dread thinking I'm canceling mine.

Nope.

I haven't made any job decisions yet. But I did decide that I'm going ahead with TOAL. It may not make financial sense, but I'm too emotionally invested in this cruise to miss out on it. I figure if I find a job within my current company, then it would make no difference. It would be as if nothing ever happend with my job. If I do end up getting laid off, I'll have my severance and can collect unemployment until I find another job.

The only reason I would cancel now is if something came up with DS. I'm off to search for trip insurance in case this does happen.

Sorry to hear your parents are cancelling, but I'm so glad you are not!

Signed up for secret Mickey and have hunted for FE gifts.

3) Have you picked up your air fare yet? If so - when are ya coming into town?

Yep, Arriving in LAX on 8/16 (Sat) at 2:50pm

4) Are you still hunting for a cabin (for yourself, family or friends?)

Nope- already assigned. Would be OK w/ a reassignment though.

5) What movies have you seen lately (or last) in the theater?

Just saw Nim's Island. Thought it was fairly good. Looking forward to "Made of Honor".

No clue but had to have been either John Denver, Jim Croce or David Bowie.

I am only repeating what Rachel wrote to me ....she could have been thinking I was talking about the May crossing , which could still have her doing the August crossing (I Hope , I Hope ) ...either way I am in touch with a CD and I am hoping through her I can get things worked out for this event ....

We had Brent in 2005 for our Mexican cruise. I question that I have is whether Ian will be on the ship? The kids loved Ian.

I havent signed up, as I want to leave my family, to decided first, also luggsage is an issue whicxh rules out secret Mickey etc, T-shirt ordering etc.

We had Brent in 2005 for our Mexican cruise. I question that I have is whether Ian will be on the ship? The kids loved Ian.

Ian was great, he told me he was making some BBC drama films, never saw them, reports say he was on the Wonder for a time.

I am right with you, I vented about my DS16 a few pages back. Sounds exactly the same except my son is messing up High School where it will stick with him for a really really long time! He went through a "phase in Middle School" and now again at 16. UGH!

Our 16DS has been giving us a lot of trouble this year, too. Very frustrating as he is basically a good kid, but making bad decisions that could end up coming back to haunt him later, but he won't beleive us!

The first thing dh would do with the money (after setting up a new family trust) would be to book a DCL cruise with all 5 children (and our SIL). We all had so much fun together on he 10nt!
