Well, I finally booked our airfare yesterday! Now I just have to figure out the rest of it!! We will be at DL on Saturday.
Was there a price estimate yet on the DIS bus from DL to the port??
So did my solicitation for contributions to the Sk8ingboys Hockey Training Fund escape your spam filter???
The SHT Fund?
I just read your signature and realized we were at WDW at the same time in Sept. 2001 - Hurricane Floyd! Also known as "let's close everything" and not be hit by the hurricane - but Downtown Disney is open for your shopping pleasure!
Upon furthur reading..you have had a lot of prolems with hurricanes..maybe I shouldn't go on this cruise with you!
Floyd was 1999, 2001 was post 9/11 and when I say empty, I'm overstating the attendance. Less than 30% of normal attendance.
Butttt.... since you were there for Floyd, maybe you are the one we should worry about?
evening all..
back for SAP Sapphire.. now to work and make up the fact I was gone for a few days... gonna ketchup..
BTW is anyone staying at the port on Sat night? I am thinking that maybe the best for us
I saw this on another board and thought I would share it:
Pal'o's
$15.00 service charge
Of which ..
$10.00 goes back to the ship towards the food.
$ 1.00 goes to the Palos dinning manger
$4.00 is then pooled and split between the 10 Palos servers.
Additional gratuities would go directly to your server.
Thanks. That will help me in my "figuring"
Did they say where they got the info?
I love meal assembly places. Super Suppers and Let's Dish are 2 big franchises. I go to a locally owned one. 2 hours of 'cooking' in a commercial kitchen with a glass of wine and friend or 2 and I have 12 meals that serve 6 (so more like 1 1/2 dinners each for us) to put in my freezer. I did a pretty thorough financial analysis the first several months I went and if I added groceries + dining out, we are spending way less money this way and the meals are great.
I've been doing Dream Dinners & Super Suppers for about 3 yrs now! The closest DD closed a few months ago....![]()
Whenever I cook I cook in bulk! I cook at least 5 - 10lbs of hamburger meat at a time -- I season half for mexican food and the other half just general seasonings. 2 c of cooked meat = approx 1lb of raw meat! I cook chicken breasts the same way.
From one of the server's at Palo's.
DS7 just got the call - he also made his travel hockey team.![]()
Good golly what did we get ourselves into???
I have thought about that.. but when i look at the menus.. Dh would eat 1/2 of it.. and if he won't eat it then Eric won't... so it is hard to justify for me and Geoff
For the first time in years we decided to buy insurance $636 to protect the 2,565 points and $350 to protect the flights. Would you believe it was more money for being over 62 maybe they're afraid will die before the cruise.
Cabo, I have done the glass blowing factory before, with Princess cruises, it is very interesting and nice to view, but its over and done fairly quickly, and then to the shop to purchase glass, good for kids to see, but not a long tour, unless changed.
Acapulco, I think due to the location of the fort and market a lot of people will do this, there both very close indeed, in fact the port side of the ship will look directly into the fort, ( so put your clothes on)

There's a lot of interest in a group Mr. Emerald city & shopping tour. Paula is working with him to put something together. Check out the planning board.
Sorry to hear about your aunt.![]()
My brother said he was going to see that show. He says her band that she is touring with is fantastic.
