yes, we are happy to be on the ship and assigned a cabin, but has anyone ever stayed on Deck 1?

We had a room on deck1 the first time we sailed with Disney (1998).

For us it was an upgrade from cat 12, however,i hated the location except for shore days. Since Titanic was farily new in our minds, i deemed us sterrage for that trip (or at least that's how i felt every trip up to the pool decks.)

But if it will save $$$. Well you gotta do what ya gotta do (and hope we don't have any 20 foot seas sloshing past your window)

DH is a little worried that I'm obsessing about the cruise He's afraid I'll be disappointed.

I'm not obsessed....I'm convinced....

Finances have been tight here and the "right" thing for us to do would be to not go on the trip. However,i don't think i could deal with not going right now (well not without some serious booze, medication, and/or therapy anyway)
DH kinda feels the same way as we might not have a chance to do something like this in the next few years and if we don't go he has nothing this year to look forward too. (He really hates his job and/or boss and gets no raise this year. Me neither for that matter.)

Esteri, when I had cats that had the black and white tuxedo markings I always named them sneaker names...Puma, Nike, Reebok

Not Disney, but maybe it will spark some ideas

All our cats are strays/adoptees so no fancy names, but DS has named a bunch of them after artists. We have Vincent VanGogh, Norman Rockwell, Claude Monet and Jackson Pollack. He helped my mother name two of her cats Frederic Remington and Georgia O'Keefe. Their "call name" is their first name except for Remington who is usually called "Remmy". Our non-artist cats are Dustbuster and Tuxedo (not very unique!). My mother's tuxedo colored cat is named Marlena after Marlena Dietrich.

It was nice to NOT have a rerun tonight of CSI Miami . . .looking forward to Thursday's CSI, too.

Speaking of CSI, I have a dear friend who really was one She said she finds the show humorous.

Just checking in b/c I miss you folks! Busy getting the house ready to sell. Can you believe we're going to sell our house and move AND do a TOAL all in one summer (did mention our two boys are on THREE baseball teams) . . .LOL DH and I can't wait for August . . .oh and now my DSis is getting married the WEEKEND after we return from the cruise ON THE OTHER COAST . . .It's going to be a great summer!
